Getting Started
1
Compatibility
The iOS Telenotes app is
compatible with iOS 7, 8, and 8.1 on
the following devices:
• iPhone 5, 5s, 5c
• iPhone 6, 6 Plus
The app is not yet optimized for use
on iPad devices, although you may
still use it as is on your iPad.
The app may work on older
devices such as iPhone 4, although
performance issues may be
present.
Installing the app
Go to the app store on your
compatible iOS device, and search
for Telenotes. Select “Get” and type
in your Apple ID password when
prompted. Once the download is
complete, select “Open”.
To install on an iPad select “iPhone
only” rather than “iPad Only” from
the dropbox in the top left corner of
the app store.

Logging into the app
Enter your mailbox/PIN number and
your password. Select Login.
Passwords are case sensitive. If
you have forgotten your password,
please click on the link below to
reset your password:
Forgot Password?
Once you login, Telenotes will sync
all of your data to your device.
This may take some time if you
have large amounts of data to
synchronize.

App Navigation

Home Screen
The home screen has links to
the most important aspects of
your Telenotes data, such as your
companies and your contacts.
Just click on the link to view the
records.
From the home screen, you can
also click record a note, to dictate
the details of your sales call.
To return to the home screen from
another page in the app, simply
click on the home button in the
bottom left of the screen, or click
the back button in the top left.

Companies
From the companies section, you
can search at the top for a company
name, scroll through all of the
companies, or tap a letter on the
right side of the screen to jump to a
letter.
Tapping a company name will open
up the details of the company such
as the full address, id, and any
custom fields.

Contacts
Similar to companies, you may
search for contacts by name, scroll
through the entire list, or tap a letter
on the right side of the screen to
jump to a letter.
Tapping on the contact name will
reveal all of the contacts details
including title, address, and phone
number.
Note: You can also get to the
contacts by selecting contacts
from the company detail page for a
specific company.

Calendar
The calendar is a quick way to
access your follow up tasks. A small
blue number represents how many
follow up tasks you have for that
day. To see the tasks, simply tap on
that day.
You may click on the follow up
to see more details. If you have
completed the follow up, select the
check box, then click OK to confirm
that the task is complete.

Follow ups
This is a complete list of all of your
incomplete follow up tasks. You can
tap on the record to view the task
details.
You can also tap the check box to
complete the task. Once a task is
complete, it will not longer show in
this list. You can view all completed
tasks in the call notes section.
You may sort these tasks by newest
due date or oldest due date by
tapping the sort selector in to top
right corner.

Call Notes
This is all of your call notes,
regardless of whether or not they
had a follow up task or not. You
can tap on a call note to see more
details including the narratives and
follow up information.
If there is a follow up in the call
note, you will see a check box
under the company name. You can
tap that box to mark the task as
complete.

For Managers

My Sales Reps
To view the information such as
companies and call notes for your
sales reps, simply go to My Sales
Reps from the home screen. Select
the reps you would like to sync,
then press sync.
After a few minutes, check back to
My Sales Reps and the information
will be summarized by the number
of records. Click on the record type
to see more details. You may need
to go to the home screen and back
after selecting sync to refresh the
page.

Listen to Call Notes
To listen to your sales reps calls,
first you need to select Download
Sound Files from the home screen.
You can then toggle through the
days, or select download all, then
select a date.
Once you have downloaded the
files that you want, all you need
to do is go to Play Sound Files
from the home screen and tap the
recording that you would like to
start with. When it is complete, it will
go to the top of the screen.

Recording Call Notes

Recording Call Notes
To record a note, select New Note.
Then select choose company. If it
is a new company, select dictate
new company. After selecting the
company, the recording will begin
immediately. When you are finished,
just press Stop/Save.
You can then select from the list of
recordings below and click play to
listen to and review the call note.
Uploading Call Notes
When you are done recording
your notes, select upload
at the bottom of the screen.
Your notes will then be sent to
Telenotes and transcribed into
your database.
If you decide that you do not
want to upload a note, simply
swipe left, then select delete.

Settings
In the settings you can logout of the
app, change to a green theme, and
control when to sync and choose to
sync with WiFi only.
You can also choose to sort
contacts by first or last name, and
hide addresses from the company
and contacts. You can also see
a summary of how many records
you have in the database summary
section.
