The Proposal
So for Alexs 23rd birthday Ryan planned a weekend trip to New York City
where he got a beautiful hotel room not too far from downtown Manhattan.
He made reservations at Planet Hollywood and took her to see The Lion
King on Broadway. But, before they left for their night out, Alex and Ryan
went for a stroll around Central Park. Ryan sat her down on a large rock
overlooking a beautiful lake in Central Park and handed Alex her birthday
gift. Alex opened the gift with a strange look on her face to find that her gift
was another Montreal Canadiens T- shirt to go along with her collection. To
her surprise, on the back of the T shirt, it read MARRY ME. With Ryan
sitting beside her nervously with the ring in his hands he awaited Alexs
response. Alex looks into Ryans eyes and says NO WAYYYYY. Ryan sat
there with a confused look on his face, not knowing what her answer was,
until he graciously asked her again to make sure it was definitely a yes.
