DE LA COSTA DAURADA
La Costa Daurada, situada al sud de la comunitat autònoma de
Catalunya, deu el seu nom a l’aspecte daurat que el reflex
de la llum del sol dóna a la sorra de les seves platges. El litoral d’aquesta zona està
format per 92 quilòmetres d’extensió amb més de 60 platges ideals
per al turisme familiar, on tan aviat
podem trobar grans espais de platja
com petites cales de gran riquesa natural, entorns perfectes per gaudir de
la pau i el descans d’unes vacances per a
tota la família o per practicar tot tipus
d’esports com els que ofereix l’Estació
Nàutica de Salou-Cambrils-Mont-roig del
Camp/Miami Platja, la gran central de reserves d’oci i allotjament de la Costa Daurada.
Gràcies a la gran oferta d’activitats i serveis de les platges de la Costa Daurada, any rere any han estat reconegudes amb diversos guardons que avalen la seva qualitat, com les banderes blaves –atorgades per la Fundació
per a l’Educació Ambiental d’Europa–, la norma de gestió
ambiental ISO 14001, la distinció per accessibilitat, el
premi Ecoplayas per la netedat i sostenibilitat o el certificat com a Destinació de Turisme Familiar, concedit pel
Departament de Comerç, Turisme i Consum de la Generalitat
de Catalunya, que destaca les localitats que compten amb serveis
dissenyats per gaudir del turisme amb l’acompanyament de nens.

THE BEACHES
OF THE COSTA DAURADA
The Costa Dorada, located in the south of the autonomous community of Catalonia, takes its name
from the golden appearance that the reflected
light gives to the sand of its beaches. The coastline here extends for 92 kilometres with more
than sixty beaches suitable for family tourism,
where it is as easy to find wide-open beaches as
coves rich in the wealth of nature, perfect settings to discover the peace and quiet of holidays
for all the family, or to do any of the sports offered
by the Estación Náutica of Salou-Cambrils-Mont-roig
del Camp/Miami Playa, the main reservations centre for
leisure and accommodation on the Costa Dorada.
With their wide range of activities and services, year after year
the beaches of the Costa Dorada have been recognised
with awards for their quality, such as the blue flags
(awarded by the European Foundation for Environmental Education), the environmental management
standard ISO 14001, the distinction for accessibility, the Ecoplayas (Ecobeaches) award for
cleanliness and sustainability or the certification
as a Family Tourist Destination, granted by the
Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Consumer Affairs
of the Government of Catalonia, which highlights
places that have services designed to make tourism
enjoyable when accompanied by children.

CUNIT
CALAFELL
La platja de Cunit s’estén al llarg de 2,5 km i compta amb
set espigons que ens ofereixen unes cales en un ambient
acollidor, còmode i tranquil que ens permet gaudir del clima mediterrani lluny de l’acumulació de persones de les
platges rectes.

The beach at Cunit extends for 2.5 km and has seven
breakwaters that make charming, welcoming coves, comfortable and peaceful, where you can enjoy the Mediterranean climate far from the crowds that are typical of
long, straight beaches.
Calafell, a town that has the title of Family Tourist Destination, enjoys a 5-km uninterrupted seafront with three
beaches that stand out for the quality of their sand and
their water, certified under the environmental standard
ISO 14001.

Calafell, vila amb el títol de Destinació de Turisme Familiar, gaudeix d’una façana marítima de 5 km ininterromputs

EL VENDRELL - COMA-RUGA
El Vendrell té 7 km de platja estructurats en tres zones
–Coma-ruga, Sant Salvador i el Francàs– que es caracteritzen per la tranquil·litat, transparència i bona temperatura del mar, i són especialment saludables per l’alt percentatge de iode de l’aigua.

RODA DE BARÀ
El Vendrell has 7 km of beach structured in three areas
(Coma-Ruga, Sant Salvador and el Francàs) that are characterised by the tranquillity, transparency and good temperature of the sea, and are particularly healthy because
of the high percentage of iodine in the water.
Roda de Barà has 2 km of beach in four separate areas, a
natural quality environment that shows a model of tourist
development where a commitment to the environment is
clearly in evidence.

CREIXELL
TORREDEMBARRA
Creixell presenta una magnífica platja de quasi 2 km amb
tot tipus de serveis. A més, ha estat guardonada amb la
distinció per l’accessibilitat a persones amb minusvalidesa,
que atorga l’organisme Blue Flag, i el premi Ecoplayas per
les platges netes i sostenibles.

Creixell presents a magnificent beach that is almost 2 km
long and has all kinds of services. Also, it has received an
award for accessibility for people with disabilities granted
by the Blue Flag organisation, and the Ecoplayas (Ecobeaches) award for its clean and sustainable beaches.
Each of the beaches at Torredembarra has some characteristic that makes it unique: la Paella, with 2000 m of
cliffs and crags; the beach in the Barri Marítim, the fishermen’s quarter, and the Muntanyans beach, with a coastal
ecosystem of dunes.

Cadascuna de les platges de Torredembarra té algun tret
que la fa única: la Paella, amb una zona de penya-segats
d’uns 2.000 m de longitud; la del Barri Marítim, al barri
dels pescadors, i la dels Muntanyans, amb un ecosistema
dunar costaner.

VILA-SECA. LA PINEDA PLATJA
La Pineda Platja (Vila-seca) posseeix una àrea de més de
3 km de platges sedentàries de gra fi, dividides en tres
sectors –platja dels Prats, de la Pineda i del Racó–, que
ofereixen totes les comoditats gràcies als abundants serveis i infraestructures de qualitat.

SALOU
La Pineda Platja (Vila-seca) has an area of more than 3
km of sedentary beaches with fine sand, divided in three
sectors (the beaches of els Prats, la Pineda and el Racó)
that offer all facilities thanks to their abundant services
and quality infrastructures.
Salou, with its 9 beaches, has some special features for
which it has merited the certificate of Family Tourist
Destination. The fine sand, the shallow water and the
chance to enjoy the water sports offered by the Estación
Náutica captivate its visitors year after year.
