and snow-sports markets for 2016. As sales increase nationwide, Krimson Klover continues to
design its luxury knitwear with a commitment to social and environmental responsibility.
Krimson Klover opened 130 new accounts this year that gave their sales a 50% boost 2014-15
– topping the 40% growth from the previous year 2013-14. The 2016 collection will support this
continued growth, offering more looks to an extended demographic. While remaining true to its
core audience, the expanded product line will appeal to active, young professionals as well as
their fashionable mentors.
Krimson Klover offers stylish apparel for work, travel, fun and winter sports. Garments are
crafted from sustainably sourced, ultrafine Merino, cashmere, mohair blends and natural
performance viscose. New textures and vibrant colors mingle throughout the collection, which is
divided into three categories: Fireside, Slope Style, and Voyager collections.
Fireside: Sophisticated urban lifestyle with
mountain appeal
Fireside is redefining sophisticated mountain style with sexy
silhouettes and simple elegance. These perfectly patterned
garments are effortless and comfortable, whether for snuggling in
for the evening or out on the town fine dining. Make a statement:
Life is too short to wear boring clothes.
Slope Style: From champagne powder to champagne toasts

it does out on the town. Its modern styling with a daring, playful color
palette and original artwork also incorporates timeless winter and
vintage ski fashion motifs. Embrace the great outdoors; your spirit will
thank you.
Voyager: Where style meets adventure
No fuss here—just easy style that honors the sense of adventure
that lives within all of us. Mix and match solids with richly hued
patterns knit in the luxurious natural fibers that travel so well with us
along life’s journey. Add that touch of feminine sophistication, and
we are reminded how magical it is to be a woman.

Dress your toes in the ultimate foot fashion, merino wool socks with a touch of nylon and
spandex for fit and function. Vibrant colors coupled with distinctive ski patterns make each sock

Krimson Klover Sales Increase—Business Expands in Snow,
Outdoor and Lifestyle
Boulder, Colo. (October 14, 2015) - Krimson Klover, the Colorado-based lifestyle brand
known for high-quality women’s apparel, continues to expand its brand presence and
sees increased sales growth nationwide. Female-owned and operated, Krimson Klover
merges a passion for luxury knitwear with a commitment to social and environmental
responsibility.
Krimson Klover distributes throughout the U.S. and
Canada via specialty retailers and fine catalogs. The
company opened 130 new accounts (to 900 total
nationwide) while remaining obsessive about
craftsmanship, quality, and self-expression.
Krimson Klover opened 130 new accounts this year
that gave their sales a 50% boost (2014-15) –
topping the 40% growth from the previous year
(2013-14). Company founder Rhonda Swenson
attributes Krimson Klover’s growing success to timing,
quality, and the clothing’s chic yet wearable designs.
Krimson Klover also distinguishes itself with its
commitment to supporting women in business and its
priority of environmental sustainability. Swenson’s
predominantly female team works with several
female-owned manufacturing facilities in Asia. “We
love to work with women,” she said. “These women
owners in China are total powerhouses, they’re just amazing and align with our ethos.”
“In sourcing our natural-fiber yarns and fabrics, we make a point of finding materials that
are as environmentally friendly as possible,” said Swenson. Krimson Klover wool comes
from free-ranging sheep raised on low-intensity farms, and products are manufactured in
clean facilities that use recycled water and eco-friendly dyes. “Sustainability is an
ongoing process and a big priority for us,” Swenson said.
After nearly three decades in the sweater business (and several previous brands,
including Chompas, Eir Sports, and Nevé), Swenson launched Krimson Klover in 2010.
The venture combines her lifelong love affair with knitting and textiles with a Texas-born
risk-taking spirit. Originally from Austin, Swenson is a passionate traveler and outdoor
athlete, who says she inherited her wanderlust from her mother and her ability to
embrace life in the moment from her father. Her designs for Krimson Klover reflect that
easy-going, adventurous outlook. “Our clothes look great and make you feel one of a
kind, with little worry about what you’re wearing. That leaves more time for hiking, skiing,
and traveling,” she said. “People need to get out and live life.”
This year’s fall collection reflects a renewed commitment to outdoor and winter-sports
apparel, including hand-painted base layers, flattering sweater dresses, novelty
sweaters, scarves, and snowflake socks—all made from luxury natural fabrics such as
cashmere and ultrafine Merino.
