in 110 countries and with over 60 yeans of expefience, AIESEC is the international
platform for young people to explore and develop their potential to create a positive impact in
society as the leaders of today and tomorrow

Present
AffiSEC UPd is currently running a project based on exchange called AIESEC btoUat Village. It is an
initiative where 6 international interns from all over the world volunteer in the Philippines to teach the
youth about Globalization and inspire them to become Global Citizens still in ihe context of the
Philippirres. This project has been running for I months now.
We have.recently partnered with the Department of Education of the Philippines anti they are assisting
the Organizing Comminee in securing school partners..Please find the endorsement letter attached.
Your support is crucial in making the project a success. The Division office has infotmed our team that
your good office would be in charge of disseminating information regarding our program so that we
may more easily secure sessions in high schools.

An integral part of our project is.tapping directly into high schools and educating the youth
through learning sessions and camps. This project is being done in partnership with the
Department of Education of the Philippines and the University of the Philippines Diliman
Center for lnternational Studies a9 our Main Learning Partners. We would greatly appreciate
it if we could conduct these learning sessions in and invite your students to our carnps, as
these would help us achieve a greater impact to the youth. A more detailed explanation, of our
project activities is in our project portfolio that follows this page.
The established reputation ofin honing the intellectual abilities and
socio-cultural

Global Village will be introduced to the members of AIESEC University of the Philippines
Diliman through online promotions and during Local Comrnittee Meetings. Presentty, AIESEC
UPD has over 150 active members.

We intend to conduct a series of learriing gessions in no less than 100 schools in Metro
Manila, for a minimum of 5000 students. 4OAlESECers.from all over the world will be coming
to the Philippines .as Exchange Participants, serving aS facilitators and resource persons :for
this project. We aim for Global Village to be an avenue for cultural sharing and to serve as a
learning platform for the Filipino Youth regarding globalization.

Camp - To end the first cycle of Global Village, 50-lO0 outstanding high school students
will be invited to take part in an overnight camp. The goal of the camp is for the high school
students to be able to bond with the exchange participants, get to know them even more,
learn more about their culture, and help them appreciate the cultural diversity of the world.
There will also be simulations, cases and other forms of training on globalization and relevant
issues.
Main Event - The FR event would be a whole-day public event wherein there would be over
10 country booths, cultural presentations, mini games and a world caf6. With this' we aim to
let ai leasi 500 Fitipinos experience the cultural diversity of the world while being in one place
