AT THE TABLE
In today’s first reading, Wisdom is imagined
as a woman rich in poise and grace. She
moves smoothly and confidently about her
temple‑like home. She doesn’t flutter about,
nervous with worry. Wisdom sends her maidens to invite all to her open house. The
guests do not possess any particular genius or
insight. They need only be a people of good
will and common sense. They are summoned to
leave behind foolishness and to find for
themselves a place at Wisdom’s table. There
they may and can eat and drink deeply.
Today’s Gospel draws us back to the table of
the Eucharist. Jesus addresses those who
seek to understand his words and, sadly,
those who seek to avoid them. As people born
of God, we are called and equipped to seek
God’s will and act on it.

PRAYER AND LIFE WORKDSHOP
“I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit,
Because without me you can do nothing.” John 15:5
Would you like to have a more intimate relationship with God? Learn how to heal past hurts and grow in
love? Hear talks that will strengthen your faith and understanding of Father’s love for you? We invite
you to come and experience the Prayer & Life Workshops, A New Evangelization. We will give you all
the tools you need to develop a very sound prayer life.
What is the Prayer and Life Workshop?
A 15 week Workshop teaching you how to enter into a deep, personal relationship with Jesus
through praying the Scriptures. It is not a theoretical method but a practical one, in which you learn
to pray by praying...but it is much more than just a prayer workshop…
It is also a Life Workshop because over 15 weeks you will begin to heal the wounds of the heart
and drive away fears that keep you from experiencing great serenity and living a more fruitful life. In
Contemplating Jesus’ image and imitating His characteristics, you will slowly begin to be transformed.
To truly understand what a Prayer and Life Workshop is, you have to experience it!
Who may come: All over the age of 18 who would like to experience more peace, joy and love in their
daily life. Bring a friend. All denominations are welcomed! Come to the Introductory Session and see
if it is something you believe will help you on your spiritual journey towards God and your brothers and
sisters.
CLASSES ARE LIMIITED - FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE
