We are excited to offer The MicroFridge® Rental Program at UC-Irvine. In order to satisfy the demand for refrigerators and microwave ovens, UC-Irvine has
approved the MicroFridge® rental program. The MicroFridge® unit consists of a microwave oven and refrigerator with a separate freezer, all in one integrated unit.
The MicroFridge® works off one electrical cord and meets all the school’s electrical and safety requirements. The MicroFridge® will greatly enhance your residential
experience.
Why should you be interested in MicroFridge®?
Convenience: The MicroFridge® allows students to eat what they want, when they want it. The freezer can store frozen foods – even ice cream – for extended periods,
since it is a true zero-degree freezer. It is not a puny ice cube area like you’ll find in typical "cube" refrigerators. The refrigerator is auto defrosting, eliminating the
chore of frequent manual defrosting. And you won’t have to squeeze it into the car at the end of the year. .
Low Cost Rental: Previously used MicroFridge® - $199.00, plus $17.00 applicable CA state sales tax = $216.00. Please note: Please order by the Friday,
September 4th cutoff date to insure your MicroFridge® will be in your room when you arrive.
Safety: The MicroFridge® has patented circuitry built in which prevents blown fuses or tripped circuit breakers and also reduces energy consumption. All

Orders received before September 4th will be delivered prior to the
start of the academic year. Orders received after September 4th
could be subject to an additional late fee.

Damage Insurance
Order now and you will be guaranteed a reserved unit. If we receive
an order from both you and your roommate, we will automatically
cancel one of the orders and issue you a full refund.
For the low cost of $19.95 per year, you can purchase insurance in
the event your unit gets minor damage, or parts are lost. The cost of a
replacement unit is in excess of $500.00 so we highly recommend you
take advantage of this low cost insurance plan to protect yourself.
Cancellation Policy
Orders cancelled prior to delivery will receive a full refund. Orders
cancelled during the first two weeks of the academic year are subject
to a $40 charge. Orders cancelled after the first two weeks of the
year are non-refundable.
