BMX Racing: The Olympic Sport
Hi my name is Trent Jones, I'm 19 years of age
and have been racing BMX for 10 years. In 2013 I
achieved the goal of being a full time athlete. I've
enjoyed all action sports from a young age and it
is BMX that gives me the most thrills. I first went
to the local BMX track at the age of 9. Three
years later (2006) I won my first national title and
from there I began to compete on the
international stage all over the world!!
BMX made its Olympic debut in Beijing 2008 and
from that day on it has and is be my goal to bring
that gold medal home. I'm currently training as a
full time athlete based between Cambridge, New
Zealand with the NZ High Performance Team
and also in Southern California training and
racing on the USA BMX National Pro Circuit.!

Purpose Of Proposal
I personally like to see myself as not only an athlete, but more as a brand or a personal business. Like any
great business, success is achieved by having the best possible people involved and having input into the
business itself, creating it to grow bigger and better for the brightest future. I currently have world class
support through Bike NZ/HPSNZ for the training and racing aspect of my career and with their support on my
side more results and greater exposure are definitely going to follow. With this I personally feel brands as
such as your own can mutually benefit from my own success creating decent exposure for myself as an
