The helicopter drones are coming! Experiment
with cutting edge technology to make a short film
featuring aerial photography. Work with filmmaker Tyronne Curtis and play with technology
you don’t have at home!
AniMATROnic EARS And TAilS 10am-1pm
Make your own moving ears or tail for cosplay.
Learn how to assemble and solder a basic motor
to make them move, then get creative and customise
your ears or tail. The guys from The Edge are coming
out to share their skills and join in the fun.

MAKE awesome stuff at your workshop
Create magnets, key rings and pendants from resin (a
type of plastic). Colour the resin or embed objects like
lollies, beads and pictures to create unique pieces.
Work with professional jeweller Liana Kabel to learn
everything from mixing the resin to sanding and
finishing your piece.

Love drawing manga characters? Take it to the
next level in this workshop where you’ll work with
professional artist, David Lovegrove to write and
illustrate an entire graphic novel in 3 hours!
