CEO’S MESSAGE
The secret of any success,
personal or public, is selfreliance. To be an effective
manager you have to also be a
leader. You have to take quick
decisions, impart confidence to
your colleagues, remain poised
and calm in difficult situations
and keep on being a team
builder.
However,
deeply
personal
issues such as identity, fear,
discontentment and depression
can influence the amount of
success you have. Learn to
face your troubles with the
secrets of true accomplishment. An essential part of the magnetism
of business success is to offer a happy corporate face by projecting
an image of strength and competence to the outside world. Yet true
success cannot be sustained over any extended period of time by
denying the existence of internal struggles. So many people live
silently with broken dreams and broken lives. Irrespective of how
talented, attractive, intelligent or wealthy you may be, life is difficult
and full of struggles.
So, ultimately, your worth as a person has to do with your value.
When we think of character, we generally think of honesty, integrity,
diligence, fairness, and selflessness. But at the heart of ‘character’
is the ability to restrain ourselves. As a man grows in character, he
builds the muscles of self-restraint. Stop being your worst critic and
turn into your greatest cheerleader. Be patient with yourself instead
of rushing to assume the worst of your abilities.
The compassion you feel inwardly about yourself will overflow to
everyone in your life. Equanimity helps to resolve the most difficult
problems. Ego and temper only hamper your journey. Leave all your
baggage behind and learn to walk with confidence and a genuine
smile on the highway of success!

MANI COLLEAGUE
Mr Brijesh Biyani, President, Mani Group predicts that the
organisation will grow by leaps and bounds in a short while
Mr Sanjay Jhunjhunwala
has single-handedly taken
the Group to this level. His
most important strength
has been to provide
quality products. Sanjayji has tremendous skills
in terms of engineering,
marketing and legal
aspects, and building the
right image for the Group.
Mr Brijesh Biyani, President, Mani
Group harbours an innate calmness
that attracts you immediately to his
fold. He is by nature gentle and calm.
But that does not take away from the
doggedness with which he tackles
his various assignments.
Mr Biyani’s association with the
Group began in 2002 as a Consultant
and he has seen the organisation
grow since then. He emphasizes,
“Mr Sanjay Jhunjhunwala has singlehandedly taken the Group to this
level. His most important strength
has been to provide quality products.
Sanjay-ji has tremendous skills in
terms of engineering, marketing and
legal aspects, and building the right
image for the Group. These are some
of the aspects he has leveraged to
put the organisation on the fast track.
He understands the need for quality
and is a great team builder.”
Indeed, team-building and Management
Information Systems are key areas Mr Biyani
is looking into. As he says, “Interactions at
all levels are very useful for building a strong
team. The organisation building process
is on and is getting full priority along with
strategizing new investments. I am fairly
closely involved with the MIS activities,
operational aspects of the malls and our
project Mani Tirumala in Bhubaneswar.”
Mr Biyani sees the Group playing an important
part as a leader. And he has a lot of hope for
activities that are spreading their wings not
only in other states of the country but also
in West Bengal. He feels, “People from this
State have had a lot of nurturing and highly
educated individuals from Bengal are doing
extremely well all over the globe. Now, many
sons of the soil want to own their own place
here. Thus high end real estate has huge
aspirational values and Mani Group is a leader
in this field.”

MANI Mantra
Team building is an important part of any
Group to boost efficiency among employees
Team building activities
is an intricate part of the
corporate workplace to
increase productivity and
boost morale.
Members
must feel connected to
their colleagues on a deeper
level, not just because they
work under the same roof
or get paid by the same
organisation.
Team building techniques
can and should be a
continuous part of any
Company. If these activities
occur sporadically, without
regular frequency, their
effectiveness is diminished.
If you think of your
company and its employees
as a machine, regular
maintenance is a must in
order to achieve maximum
performance.
Team
building can provide that
maintenance and become

part of the work atmosphere
that employees and team
members look forward to.
Have a specific goal in mind.
Decide your purpose ahead
of time. Having a common
understanding of the goal to
be achieved will help your
team reach that objective.
Some popular team-building
goals include:
• Getting to know one another
(including introducing a
new employee, manager
or leader)
• Improving problem-solving
and communication skills
• Learning to work as a
group
• Fostering creativity skills
• Addressing weaknesses
• Resolving conflict
• Adjusting to change
• Boosting morale
Coming together
is a beginning.
Keeping together
is progress.
Working together
is success.
Henry Ford
Engage members in something they are unfamiliar with. This teaches
people to rely on each other and develop trust in the members of
the team. Open the doors of communication between members. By
talking through a problem or a fictional scenario, teams learn how to
effectively communicate their ideas. Develop a sense of belonging.
Employees tend to be more productive if they feel they are a valuable
part of the Group. Each person has something to contribute to the
larger whole. Promote the sharing of different points of view. By
encouraging varied viewpoints, team building can allow people to
consider solution to problems they never thought of before.

MAGIC MANI MOMENT
I and my husband are extremely
happy to have an apartment in one
of the best projects of Mani Group,
Mani Kala. It is nearing completion
and seeing this happening before
our eyes is very exciting as the
project is superb.
We will definitely try to buy one
more apartment in any other

“The ornament of a house is the friends who
frequent it.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson’s words are true even today. A home has to be your personal nest where you can
spend time with your friends. To share a joke, to
laugh and enjoy a meal together. At Mani Group we
work hard to ensure that your deam of owning a home
comes true! And we give you just that wee bit extra so
that your smile grows broader as the days go by... After
all, you are very special!
The journey with this Group has
been splendid and we want to
continue walking together!
