Yes, there’s plenty of fun for grown-ups at Yellow Balloon Fair! Even those who are not present can
participate, so here's what you need to know:
Raffle & Auction tables will be open: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 10. It is possible that
there could be a last-minute change or addition after the printing and distribution of this
booklet. All item details are subject to change. Current information will be on the bid sheets on the
tables. We hope you can stay and enjoy the fair until check-out.
Early Bidding: Silent Auction Absentee Bidding Rules aka How to Submit Your Maximum Bid Early
Take advantage of your chance to participate even if you are unable to attend the fair… OR if you do
not want to take precious time away from the fair's other activities... OR if you are working the
event! Simply review the brochure of offerings and submit an e-mail request with Subject: Silent
Auction Item# Bid as follows to [email protected] by THURSDAY, MAY 8, 2014 AT 8:00pm.
Be sure to include:
1. Your Name and Phone #
2. Item number and brief item description
3. Your MAXIMUM bid!
Submitted bids will be added to the bid sheets at noon on May 10th at the YBF, unless there is a
higher active bid noted at that time. If you bid via early bid and DO attend, we encourage you to be
present for the close of the auction and to bring your checkbook. Happy bidding!

To make your first bid, legibly write your NAME, PHONE #, & BID on the bid sheet in ink. If we are
unable to read your information, we will move on to the next highest bidder.
Bids must be increased by at least $5 increments unless otherwise noted on the bid sheets. Bids not
keeping to the assigned increments will be disregarded, or an auction runner will clarify if time allows.
Bidding MUST start at the minimum bid.
Some items are subject to date and other restrictions. Please read the bid sheet descriptions carefully!
Tables will close at 1:00 pm.
Payment/Checkout: All items must be paid for by cash or check (payable to Community Nursery
School). Thank you!

Raffle Rules
Simple yet important:
1. Clearly write NAME and PHONE# on each ticket.
2. Separate your tickets from your stubs. Hold onto the stubs for your reference.
3. Submit the ticket(s) into a container that corresponds to the raffle item you want to win.
Tables will close at 1:00 pm. Please stay and enjoy the fair! Raffle ticket holders are encouraged
