NJFC Green Guidelines
The New Jersey Food Council [NJFC] is supporting a
new campaign to endorse “Green Guidelines” that
favorably impact the environment, enhance public
education, benefit the communities in which we do
business and create a model for other industries to
emulate.
The New Jersey Food Council is an alliance of Food
retailers and their supplier partners united to provide
vision and leadership to advance the interest of its
members.

Penn Jersey Paper – Penn Jersey paper developed and
manages BagSmart
BagSmart™ to assist supermarkets in reducing bag
volume, increasing recycling and promoting reusable bags.
Goodwill Industries of Southern NJ / Quaker City – Our
collection partner, Goodwill Industries provides weekly collection
of recycled plastic bags, stretch film and case shrink wrap along
with recycling bin management and maintenance.
Trex® Company – Recycled plastic bags will start a new life as
TREX® composite lumber.
