Meet other families who are facing cancer together.
This 8-week series helps children and teens ages
4-17 learn ways to cope with stress and express their
emotions through art and play. Includes dinner.

Preparing for Surprises
Wednesday, March 30, 6:30 - 8:00 pm
Being a cancer patient or supporting a
cancer patient is a difficult job even when
things are going smoothly. When things go
wrong and surprises happen, often plans
go out the window. In this session, we will
discuss ways to plan for the unexpected
during cancer treatments. From finding the
right doctors to negotiating severe outcomes,
this talk will be an introduction to thinking
about what could happen before it sneaks
up on you. Speaker: Dr. Philip Grieshaber
Long-Term Survivor Group
1st Thursday of month, 6:30 - 8:00 pm
Are you a cancer survivor ready to transition from active treatment
into longer-term survivorship? Do you still seek the support from
others who are exploring this ‘new normal?’ Join us for a social group
that will help you ease challenges of long-term side effects, prepare
you for a better quality of life, and build your confidence in this new
phase of your life.

This group addresses the unique needs and concerns of people
affected by pancreatic cancer. Find support and information by
meeting others who share your experiences. Family and friends are

the myths of cancer massage, what to look for in a practitioner, what
a cancer massage treatment is like and the benefits of cancer
massage for anyone in any stage of their diagnosis. Speaker:

Martial arts activities can help children
improve balance, increase focus, boost
confidence, build stamina, reduce stress
