1 A 1968 Volvo 131 two door saloon, registration
number JTK 231G, chassis number 131/134
312065, engine number 69561, red, one family
owned from new. This barn find B18 Amazon has
been with the same family from new. JTK 231G
was originally supplied by Parkway Garages Ltd,
Dorchester, Dorset. The car is presented in barn
find condition and is finished in red with a black
vinyl interior. There is a large history file
accompanying the Volvo, with the receipts from
1968, the warranty and service booklet and a
Haynes manual. The Volvo is now in need of
general recommissioning after many years of

2 A 1968 Riley Elf Mk III automatic, registration
number LMW 262F, two tone Almond green with
white roof. This charming low mileage automatic
example has covered a believed less than 32,000
miles from new and had a recorded mileage of
31,691 miles at the last MOT. Originally supplied
and retained by WT Wall, East Street Garage,
Warminster until 2004 when the vendor and
second owner acquired her.
The Elf was
resprayed the original colour combination of
Almond green with a white roof in 2010. The Elf
still retains its original green leather interior and
carpets. During the ten years of ownership the
vendor's partner, a garage proprietor, has
maintained the car to a high standard, attending to
all maintenance as necessary. The Elf is offered
for auction with past MOTs, owner's handbook
and receipts. This low mileage Elf now offers the
next owner a more luxurious and cost effective

3 A 1955 Ford Consul, registration number TYB
602, green. TYB 602 is a low mileage (believed
85,000 miles from new), three owner car, which
has resided in the Somerset and Dorset areas since
being registered to its first owner, a Mr Brian
David Kervil, of Highgate House, Wells. Mr
Kervil would retain the car for a number of years,
before passing the car on to Mr Kevin White, who
resided at the same address. The current lady
owner acquired TYB 602 a few years ago in
garage stored condition. The car was subsequently
recommissioned with new wheel cylinders and
brakes, all new ignitions components, rechromed
front and rear bumpers by SMT to show standard,
and a thorough service was carried out. The
vendor describes the Consul as being in very
original condition, on the button and driving very
well. This charming Ford Consul is offered for
auction with some service history, past MOTs,

4 A 1976 Bristol 603 prototype, registration
number WGO 926R, chassis number 7900000,
Copper Beech metallic. This desirable 603
prototype has been partially restored by Bristol
Cars before the company went into receivership.
The car was stripped by Jeff Marsh's team and the
body was subsequently restored and repainted in
Copper Beech metallic at a cost of £12,000 (the
original colour was blue and the car featured on
the official Bristol 603 sales brochure). 7900000 is
offered for auction with two sets of seats and most
of the other interior fittings. Unfortunately neither
the engine or gearbox are with the car, but as these
are relatively common and easy to obtain, this
should not hinder the progress of the restoration.
This prototype Bristol offers the next owner an
exciting opportunity to complete the car to their
own specification and once finished they will have
a unique and historically significant vehicle. V5C,

5 A 1931 Coventry Eagle Silent Superb 150cc
motorcycle, registration number YVS 621, black
and red. This Silent Superb is from the first year of
the model's production and has previously been
restored. With its low slung sporty style frame,
this
motorcycle
now
requires
gentle
recommissioning before its next owner can enjoy

6 A 1954 Norton Dominator 88 500cc motorcycle,
registration number KBL 113, black and silver.
These Dominators are as imposing on today's
roads as they were in the 1950s traffic. KBL 113
was restored during the late 1990s with receipts
and an overview of the work included in the
history file accompanying the bike. After a period
of inactivity, this Manx engined, featherbed frame
motorcycle has been started and ridden but will
now require some light recommissioning before it
takes to the road once again. V5C, MOT and tax

8 A 1960 KMZ K750 motorcycle combination,
registration
number

XUX,
black.
Manufactured in Kiev by Kiev Motor Zavod
(KMZ), the K750 was a more civilised version of
the military M72 and based on BMW's R71. This
example was imported in 2009 by the vendor and
has now been restored. The combination comes to
auction with import documents, a V5C and is
MOT and tax exempt. This KMZ is a great
alternative to a BMW R71 and is considerably

11 A 1939 Morris 8 Series E, registration number
FYE 218, chassis number SE/E 29143, engine
number B34772, black over blue. Produced
between 1938 and 1948 the Series E welcomed in
a new more modern body design incorporating
headlamps faired into the front wings, and a
dummy waterfall front grille. This charming
example has resided in the Sherborne area since
1947. The current lady custodian purchased the
Morris in 1972 and has cherished the car ever
since. During her 42 year ownership the Morris
has received restoration and maintenance as
necessary, including a respray, reupholstering of
the front seats in matching maroon leather, new
carpets and headlining. Accompanying the car is a
large history file with past MOTs, receipts, owners
handbooks and correspondence. Now only for sale
due to a recent lack of use, this well presented
example is ready to take to the show circuit. RF60,

7 A 1958 BSA Shooting Star 500cc motorcycle, V5C, MOT and tax exempt (taxed)
registration number SET 256, green. This BSA has illustrations Sold for £4910.71
previously formed part of a collection of
motorcycles. SET 256 comes to auction in
previously restored condition. Recently the
Shooting Star has been started and ridden but may
now require some recommissioning before taking

12 A 1952 AC 2 litre two door saloon, registration
number OKM 874, maroon. AC's post WWII
sports saloon became available in 1947, initially as
a two door body with large suicide doors which
aided rear passenger access. Further body styles
would become available, including a four door
saloon, a drop head coupe and a sports tourer. By
the end of the production run in 1958 nearly 1300
chassis had been manufactured incorporating all
body styles. OKM 874 is an imposing two door
saloon with a beautifully patinated maroon leather
interior, a mahogany dashboard and door cappings
and recently replaced door cards. The vendor
informs us that the AC previously formed part of a
private car collection in Holland for over 25 years.
During the current custodianship the AC has been
recommissioned with restored carburettors (receipt
on file for nearly £900), new battery and fuel
pump and service items and all oils have been
changes. Further works include the repair of the
boot area, a new wooden bulkhead panel behind
the aluminium panel and a new parcel shelf. The
vendor says that the car drives well with the
engine having good oil pressure. He also believed
that the recorded mileage of 60,000 miles is
correct, he has ***some NOT all*** MOTs up to
1986 when the AC became part of the Dutch
collection and very few miles have been covered

13 A 1998 Rover Mini John Cooper Sports limited
edition, registration number S432 LFJ, chassis

The Cooper Sports LE was a limited edition of
100 cars produced in black or Brooklands green
with white roofs and were made to commemorated
the 30th anniversary of the Cooper's victory in
Four Saloon Car Championship Races in 1968.
They all featured dark green leather seats, green
carpets, walnut dashboards, twin spotlamps, sport
suspension, 16 x 6 inch alloy wheels and wide
sports wheel arches. This particular lady owned
example has covered a believed 57,000 miles from
new. It has always been cherished during her
ownership and there is a comprehensive history
file accompanying the Mini. The original dealers
wallet contains the dealer's pack, handbooks, past
MOTs and receipts. This low mileage limited
edition Mini is one of the rarest collectors' Minis
from the Rover era and now awaits a new owner.

14 A 1971 Volvo 164, registration number XBH
77J, gunmetal grey. This luxury four door saloon
features a maroon leather interior, automatic
transmission and a factory steel sunroof. The
vendor informs us that the engine has been rebuilt
with a new camshaft and cylinder head with
hardened valves for unleaded petrol. The Volvo
further benefits from a partial respray and a
thorough check of the automatic gearbox, which
was found to be in good working order. The
vendor describes the Volvo as a good everyday
classic which is capable of travelling long
distances in comfort, in fact is has recently
travelled from Salisbury to Scotland and back.

15 A 1965 Austin Healey Sprite, registration
number DUH 945C, yellow. Extensively modified
and restored by the previous and current owner to
a high standard. The vendor informs us that in the
late 1990s the car was completely stripped and
given a bare metal respray (sprayed again in
2013). The modifications included a fibreglass
one-piece front end,1275cc engine bored out to
1380cc, Kent cam, twin SUs, gas flowed cylinder
head with raised compression ratio, 4 piston front
brake calipers with high performance pads,
lowered suspension front and rear, Panhard rod
kit, aluminium fuel tank and Safety Devices roll
bar. With all of the performance improvements
this Sprite is now capable of both track and fast
road use. Accompanying the Sprite is a large
history file containing receipts for approximately
£8000 to bring it up to the current specification.

16 A 1994 Rover 114 cabriolet, registration
number P389 JYD, Nightfire red. This lady
owned Rover cabriolet is one of only 500
produced by Rover. It has covered a believed
55,000 miles from new and is well presented. The
Rover is attractively presented in Nightfire red
with a contrasting grey soft top and grey cloth
interior. There is a comprehensive history file
accompanying the Rover with the original dealer's
wallet and manufacturer's handbooks, receipts and
old MOTs. V5C, MOT to January 2015, taxed

17 A 1964 Sunbeam Rapier Mk IV, registration
number APR 308B, chassis number B3304870H10, engine number BO330470HHO, Goodwood
green metallic. This charming and very original
four speed manual Rapier has lived a very
pampered life with its three registered owners.
Originally supplied by Purbeck Motor & Transport
Co Ltd, Stoborough, near Wareham, Dorset on
2nd June 1964 to the new owner, a Mr F P Robins,
a fishmonger and poulterer in Wareham, Dorset.
The ownership remained with Mr Robins until his
death when the logbook was registered to Mrs
Robins, who retained the car until 2002, when the
current owner acquired it with approximately
41,000 miles on the clock. During the subsequent
twelve years of ownership only 2,000 miles have
been added to the odometer (mileage at the last
MOT being 43,687 miles). APR 308B has always
been garaged and maintained as necessary in the
current ownership and benefits from a recent new
stainless steel exhaust. The vendor describes the
Sunbeam as always being a delight to drive with
lively performance from its 1592cc overhead valve
engine. This delightful Rapier is now offered for
auction with the original owner's service book,

18 A 1972 Marcos 3 litre coupé, registration
number WWC 139L, chassis number ECC1299,
silver. The year 1969 saw the arrival of the steel
chassis Marcos, all previous cars incorporated a
wooden chassis to support the running gear and
glass fibre bodies. With the introduction of Ford's
V6 engine into the sexy Adams designed body a
true GT car was born, with power to match those
racing car looks. This particular Marcos has been
in the same family ownership since 1990. It was
purchased for the vendor's brother and exported to
his home in Parma, Italy. It would remain there for
the next 23 years, remaining garaged and unused
for the majority of that time, before being reimported back to England by the vendor in 2013.
On arrival the vendor has overseen a thorough
programme of recommissioning, including
installing a reconditioned radiator, fan,
carburettors and filter, new air ducts, front wheel
mud guards, thermostat, control box, battery,
brake master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder,
accelerator cable, spark plugs and points, front
brake calipers and flexible hoses, front indicators,
rear brake balancing kit, carpets, pedal rubbers,
dynamo, door window motors, clutch and a
reconditioned gearbox (original available with the
car). WWC 139L is finished in a most flattering
shade of silver which complements the black vinyl
interior and Webasto style sunroof. She also has
the very desirable and now rare, original
specification magnesium wheels fitted. This very
stylish and increasingly sought after model comes
to auction with a history file containing receipts
for the recommissioning works, the 1990 bill of
sale, previous service history, Italian customs
paperwork (all taxes paid), MOTs from before the
export date and the original Marcos specification
sheet. This most desirable Marcos is now on the
button and ready for the next lucky owner. V5C,

19 WITHDRAWN: A 1962 Morris Mini Minor
Super-De-Luxe, registration number NGL 235,
Almond green. This very original garage stored
Mini comes to auction having spent the last 25
years hibernating in a garage. Originally supplied
by Bath Garages Limited, Bath to the first owner,
a Miss Eleanor Janet MacNair and has always
remained in the West Country. Finished in
Almond green with a porcelain green interior. This
early Mini is now ripe for sympathetic restoration.
Offered for auction with correspondence from the
Mini Owner's Club, RF60, continuation logbook,
Heritage certificate, CD of the car's history and

20 A 1960 Ford Consul 375, registration number
OJT 913, red with white roof. Introduced in 1951
the Consul was the base model of the three model
Zephyr range, comprising the four cylinder Consul
and the six cylinder Zephyr and Zodiac. The Mk
II version became available from 1956 with the
code 204E and featured a 1703 cc straight four
cylinder engine. This Mk II example has just been
recommissioned after long term storage. The Ford
benefits from having been recently retrimmed in
beige vinyl and new black carpets have been
fitted. The vendor informs us that the car is
running well since being recommissioned and
always gets favourable comments when the car is

Ltd, Kendal, although the V5C stated declared
manufactured 1948. It appears that JM 8199 was
active in the Series I Club in the early 1970s and is
featured on the front of the club magazine Legend
(copy 173) from an old photograph taken from the
1970 Proteus Trial. Accompanying this Land
Rover is a copy of this magazine, a letter from
Pete Wilford (Funny Fings) talking about JM
8199, copies of photographs and other items.
Affectionately known as Jimmy, he is only for sale
because the vendor has had the opportunity to buy

22 A 1980 Mini Clubman estate, registration
number GAM 938W, black. From the last year of
production this Clubman estate was in storage
from 1990 until a comprehensive rebuild was
carried out during 2013. The vendor believes that
the recorded mileage of 26,000 miles could be
correct due to the length of time the Mini was in
storage, but unfortunately there is not sufficient
paperwork to substantiate this. A rare classic
estate, fresh from a thorough restoration now

23 EXTRA LOT: A 1963 Standard Ensign
Deluxe, registration number ARB 551A, green.
This rare Standard has had one registered Cornish
owner. It has been stored for many years and now
requires a full restoration, or is a good source of
spare parts to help maintain or restore another car.
The recorded mileage of 78,000 miles is believed
to be genuine. The interior has good clean and unripped seats, the engine turns over freely and the
car rolls without the brakes binding. V5C, no

21 A 1995 Mercedes-Benz C200 Elegance
Automatic, registration number N12 PCB, silver.
This 15,000 mile from new C200 has been
meticulously maintained and always garaged by
three enthusiastic owners. Presented in a subtle
shade of silver with a contrasting two tone beige
cloth interior. It is fitted with an electric sunroof,
windows and mirrors, automatic transmission,
walnut centre console and dashboard, and stereo
system. The Mercedes is offered for auction with
full Mercedes and specialist service history, all
original handbooks, past MOTs and receipts. The
vendor informs us that the car will be freshly
MOT'd and serviced prior to the sale. Surely one

24 EXTRA LOT: A 1996 Mini Cooper Mk VII
Classic 1275cc, registration number P68 VPN, red
with white roof. This time warp Mini has been
garage stored for over 12 years and the odometer
records less than 31,000 miles. This rare Mk VII
twin port injection model with front mounted
radiator, has a host of other improvements,
including factory specification Monte Carlo style
spotlights, a wooden dash board and wide sports
wheels. This Mini comes to the market now due
to the death of the registered keeper. The vendor
informs us that the car started easily after the
fitting of a new battery. V5C, MOT to July 2015,

25 A 1949 Land Rover Series I 80 inch,
registration number JM 8199, blue. This early
Series I comes with a BMIHT certificate stating
that R-8-6-2400 was produced for the home
market, built on 2nd February 1949 and dispatched
on 3rd February 1949 to Messers H J Croft & Co
26 A 1949 Land Rover Series I 80 inch short
wheel base, registration number KOD 985, chassis
number R8666683, engine number 34305893,
green. Early Series I Land Rovers have become
very collectable in recent years, with their
handsome rugged good looks, practicality and
eligibility to all the best events, including The
Goodwood Revival. KOD 985 is just such an
example, she rolled off the production line and
was first registered on 4th July 1949. Little is
known of the Land Rover's early history until it
came into the vendor's possession in the early
1970s in very poor condition. On acquisition the
Land Rover was rebuilt and subsequently won
concours at the Land Rover National Rally
(approximately 40 years ago!). Since then the
Land Rover has been taxed for limited use (no
MOT required) and was the vendor's daily
transport on a holiday park where he was the
managing director for 25 years, travelling
approximately 20 miles per week until 2000 when
they both retired. The Land Rover has some
modifications from the standard specification,
including the fitting of a 1954 six cylinder Rover
engine, extending the front spring shackles and an
Austin 1100 radiator. All of the original
components
which
were
removed
are
accompanying the car should the next owner wish
to reinstate them. Also accompanying the car are
some useful and hard to obtain spares, including
an original hard top, starter motor, half doors,
grille, dynamo, differential, electrical and brake
components. Having been in the current ownership
for over 40 years this desirable early registered 80
inch Series I Land Rover is now ready for the next
lucky enthusiast to take over running her for the

27 A believed 1960s County Commercial Cars all
terrain 4x4 prototype, green. This is really
something different! This Mini engine and
gearbox driven permanent four wheel drive off
road vehicle is believed to be a one off prototype
for a small all terrain vehicle. It was made to
evaluate the market for a small go anywhere
vehicle for hill farmers, small holders and country
estates. The vehicle is well engineered and
constructed with bespoke engineering evident in
numerous places. This small workhorse would be
a great addition to any tractor or 4x4 collection.

28 A 1972 Triumph Stag, registration number
EOE 122K, Triumph white with graphite hard top.
This Stag has a believed genuine mileage of
32,000 miles from new. A low ownership car
which was with the previous owner for 21 years
between 1992 and 2013. In the current ownership
the Stag has been painstakingly restored to a high
standard. There is a CD detailing the restoration
which included taking the body back to bare
metal, all corroded metal was removed and new
panels installed as necessary. The car was fully
resprayed inside and out. The engine and running
gear have similarly been restored with new
components evident in all areas, including brake
components, suspension, bushes and other items
painted and powder coated. The interior is
presented with new carpets and the original seats,
door cards, dashboard and centre console have
been cleaned and installed.
Some sensible
modifications have been installed including
electronic ignition, a stainless steel exhaust and an
oil temperature and pressure gauge. Presented for
auction with a history file containing past MOTs,
receipts from previous ownerships, and receipts

33 A 1970 Jaguar E-Type Series II fixed head
coupé, registration number GWX 817J, Ice blue
metallic. This Jaguar has been subject to a bare
metal restoration with parts being reconditioned or
replaced where necessary, including new floor
pans and sills. GWX 817J, with its 4.2 litre engine
and four speed manual gearbox, has been retrimmed with cream leather by L A & R W Piper
at Sparkford and the interior is finished with a
wood rim steering wheel and cream carpets. The
brightwork has been re-chromed and now the
Jaguar is ready for the next custodian to enjoy.

29 A 1969 MG B GT, registration number XPK illustrations
677G, Tartan red. This example comes to auction
with a large history file amassed over the last 30
years. XPK 677G has been the subject of an older
restoration and respray, with a reconditioned
engine, electric ignition, stainless steel exhaust,
Kenlowe fan and black leather interior. This MG
has had a recent service, including a brake
overhaul, the receipt for £212.54 is contained in
the history file which accompanies the car. V5C,

34 A 1974 Triumph Gitfire (GT6/Spitfire)
convertible, registration number PRY 351M,
yellow. This Gitfire is offered for auction in
restored condition with a GT6 metal bonnet, roll
bar, stainless steel exhaust and six cylinder 2.0
litre Vitesse engine. PRY 351M sits on Minilite
style alloy wheels and has black vinyl and cloth
interior. This wolf in sheep's clothing is
accompanied by a history file with receipts for
work done. V5C, MOT to May 2015, taxed See

30 A 1984 Mercedes Benz 380SL, registration
number A7 PGY, Aqua green. This well presented
380SL has half tex-cloth interior and automatic
transmission. It comes complete with works hard
top, alloy wheels, owners manual and some
service history. V5C, MOT to June 2015, no tax

31 EXTRA LOT: A 2001 Vauxhall Vectra CDX
2.6 estate, registration number KV51 XBG,
aubergine. An ex-Vauxhall management car for
the first few months of its life, and it has had just
two subsequent owners. The current owner, now
83 years old, is giving up driving which is the sole
reason for the sale. The car has all the original
handbooks, spare keys, full service history, and a
list of all recent and considerable work carried out.

35 A 1935 Talbot AW75 long wheelbase saloon,
registration number FO 3243, chassis number
37434, engine number 1397, blue over black. The
75 was developed from the highly successful
14/45, and with its 2.3 litre six cylinder overhead
valve engine, offered roomy, comfortable
transport at a competitive price. The Talbot 75 was
offered in two wheel base lengths, short, 114
inches, and long, 120 inches, the latter long wheel
base chassis the more expensive and substantial
being X-braced, featuring semi elliptic front and
quarter elliptic rear springs and effective brakes.
All models featured the Wilson pre-selector self
changing gearbox. This rare long wheelbase
AW75 is believed to be the only surviving
example of this model on the road today, and was
first registered on 23rd July 1935. The surviving
RF60 continuation logbook and expired tax discs
would indicate that FO 3243 was last used in 1951
and was not taxed again until 1963 when some
mechanical repairs were carried out, and an MOT
was obtained. The car was subsequently purchased
by Mr Derek Allen in 1966 from an advert placed
in Motorsport Magazine for Talbot spares. It
remained in his possession for the next 40 years on
the family farm in dry storage. This remarkably
complete and original AW75 long wheel base
saloon retains its factory coachwork. The interior
is complete and all the original fittings and
instrumentation are present. The blue leather
upholstery would benefit from some localised
repair due to mice damage. FO 3243 was
purchased by the current vendor from a
Charterhouse auction, and a programme of
improvement and recommissioning to bring the
car up to a roadworthy standard has been carried
out. The coachwork is presented in a wonderful
original state of preserved decaying grandeur and
it would be hoped that the next custodian will
maintain it in the same manner. The vendor
informs us that the roof has been restored with
Cuban mahogany and West of England cloth, and
the sliding sunroof now works correctly. The rest
of the interior is as it left the factory, with blue
leather upholstery and door cards. The engine,
gearbox and back axle have been checked and
serviced, the radiator has been recored, the brakes
relined and the wheels have been shot blasted and
powder coated, and a new exhaust fitted, plus
other consumables as necessary in the
recommissioning process. On inspection the
Talbot started readily and sounded very sporty
with its new exhaust. The history file contains an
expired MOT certificate (only one), receipts from
1963 and the old style continuation logbook. This
very original Talbot is now presented in wonderful
oily rag condition and is worthy of inclusion in

black. This charming oily rag condition Conquest
has been owned by the same family since its first
registration in 1955. The vendor took over running
of the car in the 1970s and apart from having the
sills replaced the car is in totally original
condition. The coachwork is delightfully patinated
and the original interior is trimmed in green
leather and green carpets with walnut dashboard
and door cappings. Under our inspection the car
started readily and sounded very strong but after
some years of barn storage the car now requires
general recommissioning and the usual safety
checks before taking to the road once again. The

38 A 1979 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith II LWB,

The car spent some time in Jersey, returning in
2003. This Silver Wraith II then underwent
restoration, including a respray and a gearbox,

Broughtons of Cheltenham and Michael A Jones..
Upholstered in dark blue Connelly leather, it has

43 A 1955 Morris Minor convertible, registration
number KNJ 73, black. This fully rebuilt Morris
Minor started out as an original convertible, but
due to the deterioration of the car the vendor took
the decision to re-shell the car using a two door
saloon. There are numerous photographs on file of
the original car in a very sorry state, the saloon
shell being prepared with new panels, the removal
of the roof and the finished article. The Minor was
taken back to bare metal and re-sprayed inside and
out in black. The interior has original seats, new
carpets and door cards. All of the running gear has
either been reconditioned or replaced with new
components as necessary. The 803cc OHV engine
has been reconditioned and all of this hard work
has resulted in a very handsome example. The

44 A 1990 Ford Escort cabriolet, Spanish

left hand drive Ford Escort has just returned to
England from Tenerife where the vendor used the
car for the last seven years. Prior to its return to
these shores the Escort was subject to some quite
considerable works, including a new hood, full
respray, a reconditioned radiator, a new clutch and
pressure plate, head gasket and a front steering and
suspension rebuild. The Escort has a grey cloth
interior and sits on five spoke alloy wheels. The
vendor informs us that the car is now driving very

45 A 1982 Panther Lima, registration number
FNM 245Y, black. This Bob Jankel designed
roadster was retro before the term retro had even
been thought of. It was a pastiche of a 1930s
sports car with a touch of Morgan thrown in for
good measure. They were powered by good old
Vauxhall engines and mechanicals and featured
glass fibre bodies. This particular example was
manufactured in 1980 but wasn't registered for the
road until 1982. Enthusiast owned for the last ten
years and during that time the car has received a
lot of love and attention, including a re-trimmed
interior with black leather seats, a new double
duck hood, an unleaded cylinder head and chrome
wire wheels. With general maintenance and new
parts, the vendor estimates that approximately
£10,000 has been spent on the car during his
ownership. This well presented and maintained

equivalent to Sir Alec Issignois' mini. This rare
right hand drive example is believed to be one of
only 65 road legal examples left on British
highways. Finished in traditional bright red, with
a full length folding sun roof and black vinyl
interior. During the vendor's custodianship of
seven years, the tiny Fiat has been well
maintained.
Noteworthy improvements and
maintenance have included fitting of oversized
Rostyle steel wheels and new tyres, a front
suspension rebuild with new king pins and idler
box, stub axles, a brake overhaul with new wheel
cylinders, headlights and a new front bumper. The
vendor informs us that the car is now driving very
well, and always attracts admirers and attention

47 EXTRA LOT: A 1998 Jaguar XK8 convertible,
Irish registration number 98D1016, metallic
maroon. This XK8 has a cream leather interior,

plates, but the vendor informs us that he has
applied for UK registration and that he has the
original Irish V5 and has sent the NOVA
application form to HMRC on 5th July and is
awaiting confirmation. When notification has

fitted with numerous optional extras to make it
even more sumptuous. These include an uprated
sound system and blue lambswool over-rugs. The
vendor, a Rolls Royce and Bentley enthusiast,
spent some time sourcing a car he wanted to add to
his garage. This deluxe Bentley is finished in
Midnight blue with a cream leather interior, has

yellow. The TR6 was the last of the true macho
sports cars manufactured by Triumph. The early
CP cars produced between 1969 and 1975 featured
the more powerful 150 bhp fuel injected straight
six engine. This well restored, desirable early
manual overdrive TR6 is presented in a very
period shade of yellow and has a black vinyl
interior and black carpets. The hood is a quality
mohair type and the car sits on Minilite style alloy
wheels. There is a good history file accompanying
the TR, with bills from marque specialists
including Neil Revington for many thousands of
pounds. The vendor has spent approximately
£2,000 in maintenance since acquiring the TR in

52 A 1969 Ford Zodiac Mk IV Abbott estate,
registration number SHJ 70G, blue. This rare
Abbott of Farnham estate is one of a believed 251
conversions made by the Surrey coach builder. All
Mk IV estates featured vinyl roofs to help give the
car a less bulky appearance. This particular car has
spent the last 30 years in the Somerset and Dorset
area and has been barn stored for the last 20 of
those. Finished in dark blue with a black vinyl
roof, the interior has black vinyl bench seats front
and rear, and has automatic column change. The
vendor informs us that after 20 years in storage
she started readily with fresh petrol and recharged
battery, but needs further recommissioning and

wateringly expensive Continental R was greeted
with universal praise and the show car would
subsequently be purchased by the Sultan of
Brunei. The first major revisions to the model

with a new cylinder head and the wheels being
changed to a new 17 inch five spoke design. This
Continental R has had four owners from new and
the current owner acquired the Bentley in 2011.
As befitting a car which cost the first owner nearly
£180,000 the specification is to the highest

AGU, Moonstone metallic blue. The Rouse Sport
Cosworth was a limited edition of Ford's Sierra
developed by Andy Rouse and his company,
Rouse Sport. The Rouse Sport conversion added
£4450 plus VAT to the price of the standard car,
making it the most expensive Sierra Cosworth
ever marketed and sold by Ford by some margin.
The model had a unique body kit encompassing
totally revised front and rear bumpers, side skirts
and a much bigger spoiler with subtle Rouse Sport
badging featuring throughout. The interior
benefited from front Recaro seats with bigger
bolsters and an additional set of wings over the
standard version. This car, number 41, is the only
cloth equipped know to the RSOC, others known
have the optional extra leather interior which cost
£280. There is a good history accompanying this
car including the original bill of sale from Bristol
Street Motors, the original order letter from Rouse
Sport, the original owner's handbooks and wallet,
receipts and documents verifying the 100,000
miles from new. This rare sporting Ford would be

W996 UJB, blue. The fourth generation of the
high powered four door sports saloon was
manufactured between 1994 and 2001. There
were three engine options, either 2 litre or 2.8 litre
V6 and the highly powerful twin turbo charged 3.2
litre V8. After Ferrari took control of the
company in 1997 they revised the flagship four
door saloon with numerous improvements and
build quality, and subsequently called the revised
car the Evoluzione. This example of Maserati's
four door sports saloon has recently been
recommissioned and MOT'd after a lay up of
approximately three years. Attractively finished in
blue with a full blue leather interior it offers the
next owner prestige motoring at a very economical

really something a little different, and not for the
faint hearted. This wolf in sheep's clothing was
built in 1971 using a 4.7 litre V8 Ford Mustang
engine, with many modifications and a full dress
up kit. The powerful engine is mated to a T10
four speed close ratio manual gearbox, Ford
Galaxy 9 inch locker diff, and all of these
modifications have been properly located and
installed. The body is finished in Jaguar metallic
blue, with a matching cream piped blue leather
interior and blue carpets. For that finishing touch,
the cabin has a wood rim three spoke alloy
65 A 1967 Jaguar 420, registration number LCV
91F, opalescent blue. This desirable manual
overdrive example of the Jaguar sporting saloon
has a dark blue leather interior. During the current
ownership, a programme of work has been carried
out to make this a good reliable driving car. Since

67 A 1971 Lotus Europa Twin Cam Sports coupé,
registration number KDA 848K, Carnival red.
This Europa has been the subject of a ground up
restoration carried out over a period of two years,
with mechanical, bodywork and interior
restoration. A new wooden dashboard was fitted
and a set of refurbished Lotus alloy wheels were
also added, with the vehicle covering only a few
miles since. When new, Motors test returned a 060 mph time of 8.2 seconds, and a mean top speed
of 116.5 mph, which was fantastic at the time and
this classic remains a true enthusiasts choice with
its ageless stunning good looks. The history file
contains over 30 images of the restoration,
previous V5s, road fund licenses, previous MOTs
and a Lotus classic certificate of vehicle
provenance, which states the car is in its original
colour scheme with original options of alloy
wheels and Maserati air horns. It also confirms
that this was supplied by Lotus on the 24th

69 A 1963 race prepared Jaguar Mk II 3.8 litre,
registration number 928 CLJ, red. This manual 3.8
Mk II was successfully campaigned during the
1970s and 80s during various prestigious events
such as Donnington Park, Oulton Park and the Isle
of Man Manx classic. The Jaguar has recently
been recommissioned after a lay up of a few years.
It is prepared with race specification suspension
and uprated brakes. The 3.8 litre engine was
balanced and tuned by the well respected company
Sigma Engineering. It also has a race exhaust and
manifold, an overdrive gearbox and a desirable
Power-Lok limited slip differential. There is a
large history file accompanying the Jaguar with
numerous photographs of the car being
campaigned. The vendor describes this road car as
'bloody quick' and 'sounding fantastic'. This old
school racer could be used as as, or with a little
extra fettling could take to the race track once

One of only 62 right hand drive examples, this is
believed to be one of only 30 still on the road. This
particular example is prepared for the track with
70 A 1973 Triumph TR6, registration number OBJ
82M, yellow. This original right hand drive home
market model was originally supplied with fuel
injection (125 bhp) and an overdrive gearbox. At
some point the fuel system has been changed to
twin carburettors from the standard fuel injection.
During the current ownership the Triumph has had
over £9,000 lavished upon it in the restoration and

75 A 1955 left hand drive Jaguar XK140 SE
coupé, registration number PAS 954, gunmetal
grey. The Jaguar XK140 was launched at the
1954 Motor Show, and was an evolution of the
proceeding 120 model.
It featured several
practical improvements over the old model,
including rack and pinion steering, telescopic
shock absorbers and thicker torsion bars. This SE
specification fixed head coupé was originally
exported to California, and since returning to these
shores has been the subject of an extensive
restoration, which was carried out in the early
2000s. It has recently benefited from a bare metal
respray in gunmetal which enhances the deep red
leather and walnut interior. At present the front
bumper has been removed from the Jaguar as the
vendor prefers the more aggressive look, but the
bumper and fixings are available to the new
owner, should they wish to return the car to the
standard look. Accompanying the XK is a large
history file bulging with receipts from Jaguar
specialists such as Guy Broad, and some history
from its time in California. The vendor describes
this Jaguar as very sound, driving great and

76 A 1948 Lea Francis 14 hp sports, German
registration document, Old English white. The 14
hp sports is a very rare bird indeed. Having been
produced for a mere two years, between 1947 and
1949, with only 118 of these fast and very stylish
roadsters finding appreciative owners. Boasting
up to the minute styling, somewhat reminiscent of
BMW-S328. They were powered by the 1.8 litre
Riley style twin cam four cylinder engine, which
gave the Lea a good turn of speed. This example
is finished in Old English white, with full weather
gear, in a black leather interior with fawn carpets
with bound edges. This very stylish and rare
roadster would make an elegant addition to any

77 A 1939 BSA Scout Sports Series 6 two seater
tourer, registration number BPN 508, red. With six
former registered keepers since 1939 this Scout
has covered just 3000 miles since its restoration in
2000. With several extras, including a full hood
and side screens, folding windscreen, centre
spotlight, original DRH bakelite radio, quickrelease petrol cap, tonneau cover, external horn
and headlamp mesh shields, this rare little Scout
comes to auction with an accompanying file of
history, including original buff registration

former recorded keepers, this BMW diesel coupé

78 A 1995 Mercedes-Benz E320 Sportline
cabriolet, registration number M824 UMO,
Tourmaline green. The E320 cabriolet is quite a
rare Mercedes model as originally only 557
examples were imported into the UK, and not all
of those were to the top of the range Sportline
specification. They offer stylish four seat
convertible motoring and were manufactured at a
time in Mercedes history when quality and
engineering were at their highest. This three owner
example is presented in Tourmaline green with a
full tan leather interior and has a black mohair
electric hood. The vendor informs us that there is a
full service history accompanying the car which
confirms the recorded mileage of just over
118,000 miles. He further advises us that he has
only driven the car approximately 2,000 miles in
the last year and new tyres have recently been
fitted. As Sportline cabriolets are hard to find now,
take this opportunity to grasp a top of the range

UEW, gunmetal grey. The Mk I Evante was built
by Lotus chassis suppliers Vegantune after the
demise of the original Lotus. This particular car
was the press and magazine test car. Having just
emerged from a two year body off restoration by
the son of the Vegantune founder. It is powered
by Vegantune's 1700cc twin overhead cam engine,
which has recently been rolling road tuned by the
well respected company Sigma Engineering, and
now produces nearly 150 bhp. It is mated into a

Originally supplied by County Garage in Banbury
Oxfordshire, FUD 596 was delivered to its first
owners Alcock and Sons in 1952 and remained in
their ownership until 1966. It subsequently had

85 A 1948 Jaguar Mk IV 3.5 litre sport saloon,
registration number 245 YUS, chassis number
612575, engine number S2840, maroon. The
Jaguar Mk IV is felt by many to be the epitome of
British car design of its era. The large chrome
P100 headlights, sweeping wings, luxurious
maroon interior and polished wood all speak of
the style and opulence of a past age. The Mk IV
was the first car to bear the legendary Jaguar
name, as William Lyons felt that the previous preWWII of SS was not appropriate for obvious
reasons. The model was available with three
engine options from the diminutive 1.5 litre four
cylinder to the all singing 3.5 litre straight six.
This particular, handsome, ultimate specification
3.5 litre example rolled off the production line on
16th April 1948 destined to be an export model. It
was dispatched on 5th May 1948 to Australia
where the original dealer, Brylaw Motors, supplied
it to its first owner. Little is known of the car's
history in Australia, but from the history folder it
would appear that the Jaguar has spent time in
both Japan and Singapore, before returning to
these shores in 2013. He also informs us that the
Jaguar is driving very well. This delightful postwar Jaguar is offered for sale with a Heritage
certificate, receipts for works carried out, export
and import documents, an original service manual

86 A 1957 MG A coupé, registration number 977
YUK, chassis number HMK13/26271, Chariot red.
This charming home market MG A coupé has
formed part of a small private collection. An older
restoration has mellowed with time and it has
some upgrades from the standard specification.
These include a larger 1588cc engine with a
cylinder head fitted with hardened valves for
unleaded petrol, later MG B leather faced seats,
chrome wire wheels, bullet wing mirrors, a MotoLita wood rimmed steering wheel, leather bonnet
straps, and a luggage rack. The MG is offered for
auction with a Heritage certificate, SORN
certificate, past MOTs and correspondence from
the MG Owners' Club MG A section. This now
shows nice paternation and is ready to take to the

fixed head coupé, registration number NDV 142F,
Ice blue metallic. The vendor informs us that this
Jaguar was the subject of restoration
approximately seven and a half years ago, and is
accompanied for auction by a portfolio, showing
much of the work carried out. This E-Type is
trimmed with a blue leather interior and sits on

88 A 1967 MG B roadster, registration number
NGE 300F, chassis number GH43122856, engine
number 18GBROH88038, Old English white.
MG's ever popular sports car has been part of
Britain's sporting car heritage for over 50 years.
They are still as popular with enthusiasts as they
were when they were new, and with the excellent
MG owner's club and specialist restoration and
parts suppliers this situation is likely to continue.
This beautifully restored roadster has been the
subject of a bare metal restoration. It has taken the
vendor approximately 20 years to complete, but he
informs us that there was a period of a number of
years when the restoration stalled due to life
getting in the way. During the restoration all rust
was removed and new panels were let in as
necessary, the shell was then resprayed in Old
English white. The interior was retrimmed with
black leather seats with white piping, the hood
frame was reconditioned but no hood has been
fitted as the vendor only drives the car with a
tonneau cover. All of the running gear has been
renewed or reconditioned, including a rebuilt
engine, a new wiring loom which has been
converted to negative earth and a single 12 volt
battery was installed instead of the usual 26 volt.
In fact the vendor says everything has been done
to bring the car up to a first class condition. The
MG returned to the road in 2013 and the vendor
says that it has been a pleasure to own and drive.
He also informs us that there has been
approximately £10,000 spent on parts and
professional labour, plus his own efforts to

89 A 1925 Riley 11/40 12hp sports four seat
tourer, registration number DS 9184, blue over
black. The vendor informs us that some 40 years
ago this vehicle was discovered by Mr Bernie
Jacobson, (a well known and avid vintage car
collector) in the rear of a rural garage - apparently
the car had been taken there for some mechanical
repair. Bluebelle, as she had become known, was
then sent to Coachcraft, a renowned vintage car
restorer. A new body was hand crafted in
aluminium to match the original. The original
engine, gearbox, chassis, back axle and running
gear were all restored at the same time along with
a full retrim in leather and a new soft top. This
outstanding Riley with great provenance is
finished in dark blue with black wings and soft
top, complemented by a powder blue leather trim,
four speed manual gearbox and wire wheels (both
optional when new), nickel plated headlights and
radiator shell, side lights and windscreen. A spare
wheel is fitted to the rear and the rear window in
the hood is a lovely diamond shape design. The
history folder contains handbook, original
drawings and pictures, previous invoices, various
show awards, photos of the car with the owner, tax
discs, restoration images and some write-ups.

90 A 1934 MG PA Midget, registration number
AFC 634, chassis number PA/1063, engine
number 1317/PA, black. Introduced in 1934 as the
replacement for the J2, Autocar reported the new
model and described it as 'This latest model is a
marked improvement in all respects over its
forerunners' and Abbingdon claimed in their sales
brochure 'In all there are over 100 new and
improved features'. Having had favourable reports
in the motoring press the diminutive sporting MG
sold well with 1,973 examples leaving the
production line. This beautiful example from the
first year of production has been the subject of a
full and comprehensive rebuild. The previous long
term owner, a Mr C Wardle owned the MG
between 1972 and 2009. He was the gentleman
who lavished much time and effort to restore the
car into the excellent condition that it is in today.
The body is finished in black which complements
the chrome fittings and tan leather interior.
Weather protection is taken care of with a full
canvas tonneau cover, hood and side screens.
There is a large and comprehensive history file
with
receipts,
old
MOTs,
RF60
and
correspondence dating back to the 1970s. There
has been one other owner before the vendor
acquired the MG last year. During his
custodianship the vendor has had the dynamo
rebuilt at the cost of £889.24. Beautifully
