Tactical Rifle II
Instructional Goals / Course Objectives
• Learning to break the tunnel vision
phenomenon and engage multiple threats.
• Shoot/no-shoot training to increases
survivability and decreases liability issues.
• Dealing with assault involving more than one
attacker..
• Course will make a shooter aware of the
various physiological responses our bodies
undergo during a combat situation. Students
will focus on manual dexterity using the rifle
under stress.
• Two-man teams go through tactical scenarios.
• Condition shooter to be profoundly muzzle
conscious when it comes to moving, reloading
and staying in the fight.
• Shoot, reload, and clear malfunctions with
only one hand (both left and right).
• Integrate “moving then shooting” and
“moving while shooting” techniques.
• The ability to shoot effectively while
incorporating lots of movement.
• Survival mindset and the will to win!
Tactical Rifle II - Close Quarter Carbine
Course
Day One - Saturday
8 - 8:30 a.m. Registration - I.S.R.A. Range/Pavilion
• Introduction - Course Criteria & Requirements
• Class Schedule - Student Material
• Review of Legal & Mental considerations
• Dry & Live Firing fundamentals review
Lunch - 1/2 hour - on your own
• Reloads
• Shooting on the move
• Multiple targets
• Threat assessment
• Tactical movement.
• Range Pickup - brass & targets
• End of Day One - 4:30 p.m.
Day Two - Sunday
8:00 a.m.
• Range Setup
• Review - Tactical and Speed
• Adapting to Cover Exercise
Lunch - 1/2 hour - on your own
• Tactical Course of fire
• Range Pickup - brass & targets
• Presentation of Certificate of Achievement - 4:30 p.m.
Course Aim: The student will quickly gain
experience and confidence, increasing their
skill level with the carbine and learning to use
it in a tactical situation. The course will briefly
review the fundamentals of shooting, covered
in the Tactical Carbine Class.
Skill Prerequisites: I.S.R.A. Tactical Carbine
Class (No exceptions or substitutions)
ELIGIBILITY:Open to any qualified person using
AR-15, M4A3, Mini-14, or other approved rifle;
18 years of age, with valid FOID card; NRA and
I.S.R.A. membership preferred, but not required.
By signing, I understand, represent and agree that:
1. I am a citizen of the United States of America
(Required for all firearm instruction)
2. I must positively identify myself as the same person
certified in the application.
3. Range operations depend on careful control of
deadly weapons by each student, and if any time
during the course my cooperation is not deemed
satisfactory to I.S.R.A. staff, my participation will be
terminated.
4. I will abide by any and all safety procedures
required by I.S.R.A., and I agree upon my arrival, to
complete, sign and understand a “Release and
Indemnification Agreement” releasing the I.S.R.A.
from liability for any injury I may sustain or cause
during my training.
5. I will be at least 18 years of age at the time of
training and of good moral character with no felony
record.
6. My only purpose for seeking the training, which I
have requested I.S.R.A. to provide me, is so that I
may better be prepared in performing lawful acts for
my own use.
7. I consent to having I.S.R.A. verify my identity and
background as required under applicable
regulations.

Cancellation Policy
• If cancellation is made 30 days or more prior to a
scheduled course, a full refund of money paid
will be made.
• If cancellation is made less than 30 days prior to
a scheduled course, I.S.R.A. will charge a $50.00
cancellation fee.

Introduction: This course is designed to
develop a solid foundation of shooting skills
with a carbine rifle. The student will
exercise these skills in a variety of shooting
situations.

The Tactical Rifle II Course is two
days of advanced close quarter rifle
training for those who have
completed the Tactical Rifle Close
Quarter Carbine course. Tactical
Rifle II will refresh your shooting
skills and move you to push yourself
with the rifle. It includes but not
limited to: shooting on the move,
multiple targets, reloads, threat
assessment and tactical movement.
