 1st ERMES ANNUAL MEETING March 26–27, 2015 Valencia, Spain
The First Annual ERMES Meeting is scheduled in two days and will take place in Valencia (Spain) at the
Hall of Residence Rector Peset (Colegio Mayor Rector Peset), which belongs to the Universitat de València.

to its new university function. There have survived some elements of interest as a linen of the Arab wall
(XIth century), the Tower of Miramar (XVIIIth century), the fresco that decorates the main stairs (XIXth
century) or the fresco placed on the arch of the main hall, work of the artist Damián Flores Llanos
commemorating the 10th anniversary of the College.
Since its foundation, the Hall of Residence promotes and hosts cultural, academic and social activities
directed at the university public and general citizenship, book presentations, concerts, exhibitions and
lecture tours or popular science debates that have turned it into a cultural point of reference of the city of
Valencia.

rather difficult, since is provides residence with priority to the members of the University of Valencia
(students as well as professors and researchers). Therefore, depending on the period of the year, you can be
fortunated. Additionally, you can find below a short list of hotels that are close to the meeting place (a
short, nice walk through the city center). Fig. 2 shows the location of these hotels. It is just to show you
