The following renderings provide examples of possible room arrangements using the stackable MFS (Modular, Flexible, Strong) provided in
each residence hall room. With over 50 configurations, MFS sets up just the way you want it and rearranges easily without tools.
With unmatched durability, MFS is solid construction built to be climbed on.

Safety:

• Always use two people to lift and stack furniture.
• Always use pins to secure furniture when stacking.
• If you notice any loose connectors, contact your Resident Director or a Building Services Staff member immediately.
Instructions:
• Steel pins must be inserted in the holes of the furniture before another piece can be stacked on top of it.
• The long pins should be used when stacking a bed on top of another; the short pins should be used in any other arrangement.
• No tools are needed to arrange furniture at any time.
• Beds can be positioned at two heights; to change heights, remove mattress and two platform boards and turn bed over.
Additional Furniture Information:
• Additional pins are available at the front desk.
• Calvin does not provide ladders, although you’re welcome to bring one of your own or purchase one from www.rtlondon.com/calvin.
• For safety reasons, no extra lumber or supports may be used to loft furniture, and beds may not be disassembled in any way.
• Choose arrangement and height based on your comfort level and sleep patterns. Consider rotating the bed so that the side-rail serves as
a guard on the open side of the bed. A limited number of specially designed add-on guard-rails are available to rent for $25. Contact
your RA or RD.
