Field representatives and mobile workers are often hampered in offline environments, suffering
productivity lags while they wait to reconnect to the Internet or enterprise networks. Paper has
traditionally filled offline gaps, but the manual administrative work associated with paper-based
processes decreases efficiency, not to mention that paper cannot replicate the holistic customer
intelligence afforded by today’s customer relationship management (CRM) solutions. Standard
desktop applications are also limited, often requiring a manual sync or copy to move updated data

Solution
The Model Metrics 2GO solution is a mobile cloud application that pulls down CRM data locally
onto a field rep’s mobile device. Reps have customer details with or without an Internet connection
as they prepare for calls and report call results. Integration with multiple data sources—including
data from third-party companies—provides visual graphing and trending capabilities and allows
reps to have a full picture of customer history. A digital sales assistant feature makes it easy to
present additional marketing materials.
Sample management and inventory-tracking features improve compliance with industry
regulations in fields like pharmaceuticals and life sciences. Reps can capture digital signatures on
their mobile device and, if desired, the solution can generate a PDF receipt that will be sent to the
rep’s email. An intuitive interface makes it easy to track visit data, such as meeting attendees,
information requests, talking points, and expenses. When an Internet connection has been
restored, the data syncs automatically with the CRM system, reducing the rep’s administrative
burden.
