Registration begins Saturday, September 12 for residents. Open registration begins
Saturday, September 19 for all others. Registration is required for all programs.
Programs begin Monday, September 28 and continue through the week ending October 31.
(By registering for our programs, you are giving consent for your child’s photos to be used
on our website, social media sites, and/or within the library.)

Preschool Pals
Independent 3-5 year olds, not in Kindergarten
Tuesdays from 10-10:30 am
Birth-23 months with caregiver
Wednesdays from 10-10:30 am
Preschoolers can jump into the fall season and enhance
their pre-reading and social skills as we enjoy stories,
music, and simple crafts.
2-4 years old with caregiver
Wednesdays from 2-2:30 pm
Books, songs, fingerplays, and activities
are centered on letters of the alphabet.
Get ready to sing, clap, bounce, and listen to nursery
rhymes and simple stories with your baby.
2-5 years old with caregiver
Thursdays from 10-10:30 am
Toddlers will explore activities that engage the senses
and help them understand the world around them.
Best for under 5 years old
with caregiver
Fridays from 10-10:30 am
Songs, games, and musical adventures for caregivers and
little ones. Drop-in, limited to the first 24 children with
their caregivers. (No registration required.)
Wednesdays from 6:30-7 pm
Birth-6 years old with caregiver
Please join us for a fun and relaxing evening program for the whole family.
We are a welcoming group who enjoy stories, art projects, toys, sensory
activities, and more. You are welcome to drop in when you can.
Urban Mini-Farm
Patrons are loving our urban mini-farm.
We will have the chickens on exhibit until October 6, 2015.
If you would like to learn more about our Urban Mini-Farm, you can
meet us any day that we are open at 9:30 am or 2:30 pm, out front at
the chicken coop. Patrons of all ages will be able to help feed, water,
and gather the eggs from the chickens, add to our compost or water
our vegetables and herbs. We look forward to sharing the fun with you!
Starting Saturday, September 12 be one of the first 15 people
to pick up a scarecrow frame and enter our scarecrow contest!
If you don’t get one of our frames, you can create your own,
any size and shape! All entries are due by October 1.
Winner will receive a gift card from Michaels.
Winners will be displayed outside by the seating area.

Do you love Minecraft? Want to meet others who love it just as much as
you? Join us at this club where we use the Minecraft server to create a safe
and controlled environment for Minecraft enthusiasts. Because library
equipment will be provided, a Minecraft User ID is needed from you.

Hang out and transform a Twinkie of
your very own into a one-in-a-minion

inspired activities.
Teen Advisory Group
6th-8th grade

Do you want to show off your leadership skills? Can’t get enough
volunteering? Or are you simply looking for a way to be more involved
with other teens at the library? There’s always something new and
exciting being planned and you can be a part of that. Join us and share
your opinions about what you’d like to see and do at the library.
Grades 2 and up
Saturday, October 24 at 3 pm
Let’s paint something spooky! Get into the Halloween spirit by creating the
scariest Halloween tree you can think of using acrylic paints.
Each artist leaves with a painting to hang up just in time for trick or treat.

The Super Science @ Your Library special program is for students in Grades K-5.
The program will provide the students with hand-on experiments that will demonstrate the importance of science
in their lives and encourage them to think critically and creatively.
