world. 1/3 of the city’s residents live in tightly packed areas known as shanty towns,
without little or no access to basic resources. Organisations such as Homeless
International are currently working on improving the quality of life for the dwellers of
these shanty towns.
This is a film that illustrates the life of a ‘Who wants to be a
millionaire ‘ contestant who happens to come from the Juhu
slum in India. The film entrails humour and emotion as it
explores the life of the boy who is detained because the
authorities suspect that he is cheating due to is socioeconomic
status as being from the slums.
