Raiffeisen has been operating in Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2000 when it acquired Market Banka.
At year-end 2015, Raiffeisen operated 97 business outlets and had around 493,000 clients. In the past couple
of years, Raiffeisen BANK has been focused on developing alternative sales channels, especially on enhancing
internet and mobile banking for its clients.
In 2015, Raiffeisen Bank was the first bank in the Bosnia and Herzegovina to offer factoring services to
corporate customers. In addition Raiffeisen Bank introduced a new set of loan products for small and medium
sized enterprises. Raiffeisen reinforces its status as a successful all-finance institution with its subsidiaries
Raiffeisen Invest, Raiffeisen Capital, Raiffeisen Leasing and Raiffeisen Assistance.
Raiffeisen BANK was honored by the international financial magazine “Global Finance” as “Best Bank in
Bosnia and Herzegovina” in 2015. “The Banker” and “EMEA Finance” awarded it as “Bank of the Year” in
2015.
