LatinPointedbaINGEÑUITYshallbaseallspaceassignmentsonlevelofparticipation,organization’shistorywithLatinPointe,andsizeand
configurationofexhibit.Furthermore,LatinPointereservestherighttoreassignexhibitspacetoensuresafetyandconvenienceandtoavoid
conflictofproductsandorexhibitors.Exhibit(s)mustremainwithinassignedspaces.Thissignedcontract,andfullpaymentmustbereceived
beforetheTejanoExperienceUSAFanfare&Expoopens.ExhibitcancellationrequestreceivedinwritingbeforeJuly15,2016willbecharged
15%ofthetotalpurchaseprice.Norefundswillbemadeafterthisdate.Allratesquotedareinclusiveandnon-commissionable.Payments
receivedafterthedatewillbeassessedalatefeeof1.5%permonth(18%perannum)30calendardaysfollowingtheTejanoExperienceUSA

Theterm“Exhibitor”isusedthroughouttorefertoanySponsor,Company,Artist,TalentorExhibitorwhorentsspaceintheexhibithall.
1.Application:AdulyauthorizedagentoftheExhibitorMUSTSIGNtheapplicationforexhibitspace.FullPaymentMustAccompanytheSignedContractandbe
receivedintheLatinPointeofficebeforetheexpostartdate.ExhibitcancellationrequestsreceivedinwritingbeforeJuly15,2016willbecharged15%ofthe
Exhibitfee.AbsolutelyNoRefundsAfterThisDate.
2.ExhibitorServices:Theprocurementofskilledlaborersfortheinstallationofutilities,aswellasthoseservicesprovidedthroughcommonlabor,porters,or
rentalofequipment,maybearrangedthroughLatinPointe’sofficialservicecontractor.UponreceiptofasignedLatinPointecontract,eachExhibitorwillbe
contacteddirectlybythedecorator.
3.InstallationandDismantlingofExhibits:Westgateprovidesshowmanagementwithalistofcontractorslicensedtoprovideequipmentinstallationfor
utilitiessuchaselectricity,water,phone,andinternetattheWestgate.TheWestgatedoeshavein-houseunioncontractsforselectservices.Detailswillbe
includedintheExhibitorServicesprovidedbythedecorator.Themove-in/move-outtimesarelistedontheTejanoExperienceUSAFanfare&ExpoAgreement.It
ismutuallyagreedthatthedutyandresponsibilityarebornebyeachExhibitortoarrangefortheinstallationanddismantlingofitsexhibitsbeforeand
immediatelyafterthecloseoftheexhibition.
4.ExhibitSpaceTransfer:Nontransferable
5.StorageofPackagingBoxesandCrates:Exhibitorswillnotbepermittedtostoreemptypackingboxesorcratesinboothspaceorontheshowfloorduring
theexhibitperiod;theymustbestoredanddeliveredthroughtheofficialshowcontractoratthestandardrates(whenapplicable).Arrangementsforstoragemust
bemadeinadvancewiththeofficialservicecontractor.
6.LiabilityandInsurance:TheExhibitorassumesentireresponsibilityandherebyagreestoprotect,indemnify,defend,andholdLatinPointe,Inc.,theTejano
MusicNationalConvention,andWestgate,anditsemployeesandagentsharmlessagainstallclaims,losses,anddamagestopersonsorproperty,governmental
charges,orfinesorattorneyfeesarisingoutoforcausedbyExhibitor’sinstallation,removal,maintenance,occupancy,oruseoftheexhibitionpremisesorapart
thereof,excludingsuchliabilitycausedbythenegligenceofWestgate,itsemployeesandagents.Inaddition,theExhibitoracknowledgesthatLatinPointe,Inc.,the
TejanoMusicNationalConvention,andWestgatedonotmaintaininsurancecoveringExhibitor’spropertyandthatitisthesoleresponsibilityoftheExhibitorto
obtainbusinessinterruptionandpropertydamagesinsurancecoveringsuchlossesbytheExhibitor.Exhibitorsandtheirauthorizeddecoratorsandagentsare
advisedtocarryinsuranceagainstdamage,loss,fire,andtheft.
7.Security:EventstaffservicesintheexhibithallareawillbeprovidedduringExpohours(listedonExhibitorAgreementForm).TheExpohallwillbeclosed
duringoff-hours.ProperlycredentialedExhibitorswillbeadmittedtotheexhibitionhalltwohoursbeforetheshowopeningeachshowday,andmayremainfor
uptoonehouraftershowclosingeachevening.Reasonableprecautionsaretakentoprotectproperty,butLatinPointecannotensurethesafetyofpersonsorthe
protectionofproperty.ItisrecommendedthatExhibitorstakeprecautionarymeasuresoftheirown,suchassecuringsmalloreasilyportablearticlesofvalue,and
movingsucharticlestoaplaceofsafekeepingafterexhibithours.
8.FirePrevention:AllExhibitorsmustfollowtherulesandregulationsaslistedintheExhibitorServices.
9.MotionPictureProjectionandSoundDevices:Exhibitswhichincludetheoperationofmusicalinstruments,radios,motionpicturesoundequipment,public
addresssystems,oranynoise-makingmachinesmustbeconductedorarrangedsothatthenoiseresultingfromthedemonstrationswillnotannoyordisturb
adjacentExhibitors.AllplansforoperationofsounddevicesmusthavepriorapprovalfromLatinPointeExhibitsCoordinatorandLatinPointereservetherightto
shutdownsounddevicesiftheExhibitor’ssoundlevelonspeakersdisturbsordisruptsfellowExhibitors.
10.UseofSpace:NoportionoftheExhibitor’sdisplaymayextendintotheaisleorintoanyadjoiningboothorotherareaoutsidetheperimetersofthe
booth.TheExhibitormaynotuseanyportionoftheaisles,entrances,orothercommontrafficareasoftheexhibithallforconductingorsolicitingbusiness,
promotingproductsorservices,ordistributingliterature,materials,orsouvenirs.NoExhibitorShallAssign,Sublet,Donate,orShareSpaceAllotted.Firmsor
organizationsnotassignedanexhibitspacewillnotbepermittedtosolicitwithintheexhibitspace.
11.CareofBuildingandEquipment:Exhibitorsandtheiragentsshallnotinjureordefacethewallsofthebuilding,thebooths,ortheequipmentofthebooths.
Exhibitorsareforbiddentodrivetacks,staples,nails,orscrewsintowalls,floors,columns,orotherpartsofthebuildingorfurniture.Distributionofpromotional
gummedstickersorlabelsisstrictlyprohibited.NoHeliumBalloonspermitted.
12.RestrictionsOnOperationsofExhibits:TheExhibitoragreestocomplystrictlywiththeapplicabletermsandconditionscontainedintheagreement
betweentheexhibithallmanagementandLatinPointeregardingtheexhibitionpremises.LatinPointe’sExhibitsCoordinatorreservestherighttorestrictexhibits
which,becauseofnoise,methodofoperation,material,oranyotherreason,becomeobjectionable,andalsotoprohibitorevictanyexhibitwhichintheopinionof
LatinPointemaydetractfromthegeneralcharacteroftheexhibitareaasawhole.Thisreservationincludespersons,things,conduct,printedmatter,oranything
ofacharacterthatLatinPointedeterminestobeobjectionabletotheexhibitionordoesnotconformtothemissionandstandardsofLatinPointe.Intheeventof
suchrestrictionoreviction,LatinPointeisnotliableforanyrefundorotherexhibitexpenses.
13.Sampling:Thesamplingoffoodmaycommenceatshowopeningeachday.RefertoFoodSamplingPolicyaslistedintheExhibitorRulesandRegulations.
14.Sales:TheExhibitorisresponsibleforanyandalltaxes,collections,creditcardtransactions,cash,andstandardretailobligationsregardingsalesof
merchandise.Exhibitormustprovideadvancedetailsofwhatwillbemerchandisedintheboothandincludepricepoints.
15.Giveaways:Anyinsertsorgiveawaysacceptedfromanexhibitormustcontainthesponsor’slogoinaconspicuouslocation.
TheseregulationsbecomeapartofthecontractbetweentheExhibitorandLatinPointe.TheExhibitormustcomplywithandbeboundbyalllaws,ordinances,and
regulationsofthestate,county,andcity,andwhereeverapplicable,ofthepoliceandfiredepartments.LatinPointereservetherighttoacceptExhibitor
applicationsonlyfromthosewhosegoalsareconsistentwiththoseoftheTejanoMusicNationalConvention.Theseregulationshavebeenformulatedinthebest
interestofallconcerned.LatinPointerespectfullyasksforthefullcooperationoftheExhibitorsintheirobservance.Allpointsnotcoveredaresubjecttothe
decisionofLatinPointe’sExhibitsCoordinator.
16.OutsideBranding,SponsorshipsandLogos:Printedmaterialsandboothsignagethatincludeasponsorshiplogo,any
kindofunauthorizedbrandsormentionsthatarenotanofficialpartner,sponsoroftheTejanoMusicNational
Conventionwillberemovedimmediately.SOLICITATIONISNOTALLOWEDforcruises,events,concerts,special
announcements,festivalsortalentpromotionsthathasnotbeenauthorizedandapprovedbytheTejanoMusicNational
Conventionmanagement.Thisisgroundsforautomaticremoval.

Abasicbacklineisprovided(drumset,guitaramplifiers,microphonesandsoundsystem).Musiciansareexpectedtobringtheirpersonalinstruments
suchasguitars,accordions,etc.
17.Doesmybandgetatableatthedanceintheevening?
Bandmemberscanpurchaseregistrationsatadiscountedrateof$20.00perperson,whichincludesatable
assignment.Bandmembersthatbringtheirspousesorsignificantotherarerequiredtopurchasearegistrationat
adiscountedrateof$50.00.
