S
pring is the per fec t period of the year to make changes and to renew
your wardrob e: bright colors , sparkling accessories an d innovative
materials will make your personality bloom.
This spring's key word is definitely going to be "color". Bright strong tints are
going to charac terize this new hot season , which will give a new life to the
eclectic clothes from the 70s.
Clothes with clear lines and an ex tremely power ful ac tive mood are going to
bring a fresh energ y and dynamism to your wardrobe.
D on' t b e afraid of taking risk s an d tr ying out new out f it s , use your
imagination an d play with the intense hues like red , pink an d f uchsia which
are certainly going to be some of this spring's features.
T
his season is going to bring out the
p ersonalit y an d creativit y of ever y woman
prop osing charismatic ar ticles like crop
tops , leather silver jacket s an d high wais t pant s
an d skir t s an d combining pat terned an d plain
items.
Accessories with a strong character and design will
bring a breath of fresh air to your vintage closet, in
keeping with this new season's innovative attitude,
which brings together classicism and modernity.
Ankle boots are essential, whether they are in suede
or in leather: don't be scared by their dizzyingly
height or curved heels, they will highlight your selfconfidence and emphasize your unique personality.
This game of contras t s an d af f inities is reflec ted
in the choices of materials . The originalit y of
this new season is in combining thing s which
apparently don' t have any thing in common b ut
which create a ver y interes ting an d charming mix
if p ut together. This year's hot season's basic is
matching dif ferent tex tiles in the mos t f un an d
creative way p ossible: you c an play with tex tures
like leather, lace, cot ton , suede an d even plas tic ,
mix lo ose an d tight clothes in order to create a
charismatic light and shadow ef fect.
This spring will cer tainly a dd value to ever y side
of a woman's personalit y combining their sexiness
with their s weetness , their freshness with their
charm . Let yourself b e inspired by this new hot
season's intense nuances an d sharp lines , it will
give you the chance to express yourself with
clothes in the most original ways.

LETTER
FROM THE EDITOR
Hello,
yesterday, I went for a walk during this busy time,
not far from our office in Osaka.
The warm sunshine made me remember that now
my most favourite season has come - spring.
Spring lets us start living again. The fresh green of
the trees, the smell of blooming flowers, everything
has come back to life.
I hope that this issue brings you the feeling of spring
and when you are done reading - go for a walk.
Wishing you sunshine and happiness, every day.

Floral - The season of Love
By Devsmita Saha
Hello Sunshine! The most awaited season
of the year, The season of love! The world
may be going to pieces, our day to day
lives might be going gloomy but flowers
still bloom in eternal hope in form of our
covers. I believe just a little bit of imagination goes a long way when it comes to
print.
According to me, an idea of perfect outfit for the season of love would be a cute
crop top with messy braid ,which would
definitely give a cute and elegant look.
Also, Shirts! Most of the girl’s favourite
would definitely flourish with fuss free
hair. Or adding flowy tops paired with intensity silhouettes and flattering dresses.
Or Stripes-the most common season’s
best, which could be either in the form of
jumpsuits or cute skirts , specifically in acidic
pastel shades with bold accessories would be
nothing more than a chich! On top of that a
pair of bright sandals will instantly liven up
any of the outfits. You just name it and you
have it!
But I also believe nothing spells elegance like
a stunning maxi dress and if it’s made with
light fabric, it gives that dress an extra bit
of comfort. Can work this into both day and
night looks and just dress it with a hot, pop
color lipstick to make it party perfect.
For many of us floral prints represent beachwear, summer dresses and floaty blouses. In
the modern fashion industry, these prints
are being used on all kinds of clothing and
for all seasons. We just have to redefine the
romanticism with lovely outlook. Everything
goes as long as it’s poofy, but like I always say,
clothing doesn’t matter much, attitude does!
So wear your confidence with your gorgeous
smile and steal the love.

in photography.
EV : You seem to always have an unconventional and strong visual approach
to your work. What draws you to this style of shooting?
ER : I think I have this ap p roa ch b e c ause of my ar t ba ck gro un d . I went to
an ar t school for a few years. I also love to capture the models personalit y;

ER : I still love and do both. Photography helps me to express myself and
modeling is good for my self-confidence and it is always good job to do.
EV : Your still life photography is gorgeous. I believe that still life is an art form
that often goes unappreciated. What is your process like when you shoot still life?
Do you aim to convey something specific in each shot?
ER : Thank you so much for your kind words. I love still life too. In every

on the beauty of each object.
EV : Has how you were raised, or where you grew up influenced your work at all?
ER : I think my lovely family and friends influenced me a lot. Like I mentioned before,
I get inspired by almost everything.
EV : Germany is one of the leading countries in the fashion industry and known
for its unconventional and young designs. What is the fashion community like
where you are?
ER : Here in Dusseldorf there are so many talented, unconventional and young
fashion designers. I love to work with them. One of my personal favorites is
Marina Willms, I often work with her, she’s really amazing. The communit y is
great, we support each other.
EV : What is your main goal you wish to reach with photography?
ER : For m e , it is imp or tant that I love what I do. I love p h otograp hy an d I

Ever y time I view one of the pictures, I remember a moment or funny stor y.
That makes ever y editorial unique to me.

" What is an explosion of love for you ? "
" An explosion of love is falling in love ... As the effects of a bomb blast, you can not see or
hear anything but the effects of this feeling that is born. There is nothing else . "
" For me they are sincere words, coming from the heart of the people who are dear to us.
Words of support and love, words that give us the magic and that make us happy . "
" Chaos. An explosion of love gives birth to chaos, bright colours, emotions that overwhelm you completely, you can not resist this involvement, you have to let go and live it
fully. "
T
he new Collection Autumn/Winter 2016/17 is an
explosion of colours, with prints taken from the abstract and introspective paintings of the artist Stefano Ricci. His works are referable to the great European
historical current of abstract expressionism and they are
characterized by the use of material elements and acrylic
colours with metallic pigments for a strong three-dimensional visual impact, in a mix of dark forces and blinding
flashes, almost a metaphor of existence.
The bags of the new Collection convey emotions, their
colours are variations of the most classic solid ones, combined with wood accessories so that nature and colour can
be expressed to the fullest. From an explosion comes the
chaos, a mix of different fabrics in many different colour
variations.
Volcanic explosions are printed on the eco-leather of the
Cleopatra bag. Solid and strong colours, such as orange,
burgundy and blue contrast to the natural wood, carved
handles are interlaced to complete the tote bag. The interior shines with its own light, an explosion of colour.
The shoulder strap Marchesina, the new model of the
brand, reproduces the artprint of the painter Stefano
Ricci, taking up again the interior of the Cleopatra bags
in eco-leather. It is characterized by the outside wooden
openwork closure, which is handmade by Italian craftsmen
just like every material and every detail of the bags of our
brand. Energetic bag with flap closure, it is a perfect match
for the woman in her travels and trips.
The clutch bag, elegant and sophisticated in eco-leather,
embodies an explosion of extreme happiness. Enjoy Life!
Antea, the essence of beauty, is characterized by apparently simple lines with design handle in acetate where
black dominates both the lace and the velvet. Black is the
new Black.

MAKE U P
By Kylie Eustace
W
ho doesn’t love flowers and especially the perfume of fresh flowers in spring.
Flowers are romantic, feminine and a magnificent part of
Nature. If you have a love for flowers and want to wear a
floral dress or perhaps a flower crown, here are a few simple makeup tips to help compliment the floral design and
colours of the flowers that will have you looking pretty for
spring.
As flowers are so spectacular naturally, floral designs can
be quite busy, with an assortment of textures, shapes and
colours. Often complementary colours are in the design or
are part of the flower arrangement. For example purple and
yellow flowers are common in nature, or green and red in
flower arrangements are common both in nature and design. These Complementary colours are opposite on the colour wheel and the contrast makes each colour ‘pop’.
My model is wearing plum red toned/flowers with white
flowers and the headpiece also has green foliage.
To suit the flowers I have chosen to use harmonious colours
in the makeup. I loved the red plum shade of the flowers
so applied a soft wash of a pastel plum toned eye shadow
which is also a harmonious colour that looks beautiful on
blue eyes.
Harmonious or analogous colours sit close to each other on
the colour wheel and blend in well together. I used a pastel
tone on the eyes as the flowers are bold and I wanted to balance the look with a red plum lip shade.
So the best advice for flowers is to keep makeup simple and
choose colours that are in harmony with the floral colours
and arrangement.

known for “let ting flowers blo om on p eople worldwide .” It is inspired by S ouget su Ikebana , which is a s t yle of the Japanese ar t of
giving life to flowers and arranging to p er fec tion . Aya is the founder and designer behind these beautifully produced floral arrangement s
ma de to compliment mo deling an d photography with the immanent b eaut y of living plant s . Aya was b orn in Tok yo, Japan where she ha d
the oppor tunit y to learn the prac tice of ikebana first hand. She is now living in San Francisco, California as a successful retail environment
designer as well as the founder of Flower Couture using her knowledge of ikebana and her training in architec ture. The concept of Flower
Couture focuses on arousing emotions through the dif ferent shapes, colors and living ar t of these plant s. She has fabricated many designs
with each of her works having it s in dividual unique identit y. In this projec t titled “Blanc / N oir ”, there is an emphasis on the jux tap osition
of shadow and light . The contrast of the dark and light bring out the definitive lines creating this p oint of view that also present s us with
organic matters hidden in bet ween and through the lines that can only be appreciated in this way. This projec t was thought upon with Aya’s
past explorations and the fascination with a plethora of textures and transparencies of these plants and flowers. With this interest, she has
success fully presented the anatomical beaut y in the plant s with “Blanc” having the light dissolve the mat ter into space whilst with “Noir ”,
you can see the opposite with the hard, edg y, sharpness of the texture exploding into the space. With the talented exuberant skills of Tok yo
based photographer, Takafumi Ueno and make up/ hair stylist Tomomitsu Nagahama, Aya per fected the Ikebana look on model Ingrid Gregus
for this photographic example of plants living amongst shadow and light to bring out the organic tex ture of what is ikebana. She’s currently
based out of San Francisco but showcasing her ideas and art around the world.
