Come and uncork Charlottesville with us on our annual two day
excursion along the Monticello Wine Trail. We will travel by luxury
coach, with hostess, Katherine Rose of Katbird’s Wine and Gourmet,
who will present a program on the art of tasting wine.
Enjoy educational tours and tastings at three outstanding vineyards as
wine makers share their pride in Virginia’s wine-making heritage. In
addition to the wineries, we will visit a well-known Virginia Cidery. A
private lunch with tasting will be provided at Trump Winery on the
first day. As an added treat, Chef Spencer Crawford of Palladio
Restaurant at Barboursville will prepare a special three course lunch
with wine pairings. We will also enjoy a stop at Blenheim Vineyard, the
popular winery owned by Dave Matthews.
The group will enjoy a night at the lovely Hyatt Place at Stonefield,
complete with full breakfast. We will walk to the popular Travinia
Italian Kitchen for a private happy hour pairing of their delicious
appetizers with selected fine wines.
We promise you two wonderful days full of good tastes and good
times!
