H aloguard
The Haloguard is a classic example of matching contemporary aesthetics
with high performance. The Haloguard enables this outdoor fixture
to spread indirect light onto the ground while making it visually
pleasing to the eye. Suitable for pole, crossarm, wall or stem pendant
mounting conditions, the Haloguard is the perfect specification for
many shopping malls, parking lots, government buildings, site and
walkway lighting, schools, libraries, street lighting and high-end
residential applications; and much more.
Constructed of high grade cast and spun aluminum and finished with
a durable powder-coat finish, the Haloguard is built for all outdoor
conditions. The Haloguard can also meet or exceed the toughest
performance standards of today’s lighting market and its unique
design creates a natural full cut-off to meet Dark Sky requirements
if specified with a horizontal lamp. Available with a maximum 150
watt Metal Halide or High Pressure Sodium, the Haloguard can also
accommodate today’s Low-Energy requirements with up to 57 watt
CFL while still maintaining excellent light output.
The Haloguard offers unique styling, extraordinary durability and
excellent lighting performance, including natural downlight.

Specifications
Fixture Housing: One-piece sand-cast base and cage with fabricated aluminum top.. Housing shall be corrosion resistant cast aluminum alloy
#A356. The housing shall be free of any foreign materials or cosmetic fillers. Standard fitters shall slip over 3” or 4” diameter tenon. For other mounting options, consult factory for installation.
Optics: For vertical lamping option either an open lamp or prismatic borosillicate glass refractor is used and is fully rotatable on site. For horizontal
lamiping units shall utilize spun or segmented sharp cut-off optics.
Electrical Module: All electrical components are UL and CSA recognized, mounted on a single plate, and factory pre-wired. All sockets are factory
pre-wired. A quick-disconnect plug for the ballast module is standard. Reference pages 2 and 3 for lamp characteristics, ballast types, and voltage
technical data.
Lens: One piece lens shall be silicone gasketed all around (sealed from water and insect entry).
Finish/Color: Finish is super TGIC thermoset polyester powder coat. ELA offers RAL color matches along with our standard color selection. Custom
and hand applied colors are available upon special request.
Certification: Fixtures shall be listed for outdoor, wet location. UL1598. IP rating 44.
CAUTION: Fixtures must be grounded in accordance with national, state, and/or local codes. Failure to do so may result in serious personal injury.
