Our animals play a crucial role in the
education of over 18,500 children a year.
Not only do school age children enjoy and
learn from our animals, so do adults—we
have over 35,000 visitors to our museum
a year.
Your animal sponsorship helps cover the
cost of food, housing, and bedding.
Sophie the Great Horned Owl eats $500 of
mice a year alone! All together, our
animals need over $3,000 a year in food
and veterinary care.

Since we have such diversity in animal species, your
stuffed animal may be substituted with a similar species.
It’s difficult to find short-tailed opossum stuffed animals,
for example. We hope you’ll love your new friend!
