SAFETY INFORMATION - READ BEFORE RIDING
Since specific tools and experience are necessary for proper installation, it is recommended that the
product be installed by a qualified bicycle technician.
Read the service instructions of your hub carefully prior to installing the parts. Loose, worn or damaged parts may
cause riding problems and serious injury may occur as a result. If installation and adjustments are not carried out
correctly, the chain may come off and this may cause you to fall off the bicycle which could result in serious injury.
Read these instructions carefully, and keep them for later use.
• Before riding the bicycle, check that there is no play or looseness in the rear freehub connection.
• If you feel any looseness or ‘play’ in the hub or freehub bearings, it should be inspected/replaced.
• Be sure to read the instructions for your rear derailleur in conjunction with these cassette instructions.
• For maximum performance it is required to remove, inspect/clean, and periodically lubricate your Praxis Works
Cassette.
• Parts are not guaranteed against natural wear or deterioration resulting from normal riding use.
• For any questions regarding methods of installation, adjustment, maintenance or operation, please contact a
professional bicycle dealer or call Praxis Works.
• Praxis Works assumes no responsibility for damages or injury related to improperly installed components.
• READ THE STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED ON THE OTHER SIDE.

3. Build cluster fully...
When the last cog is placed on the
body, then you install the included lock
ring.
Note the wide part on the
freehub body. This is your
locator for the wide part on
your cassette.
4. Tighten the lock ring...
1. Slide gearing on...
As in the diagram above, slide the
gearing onto your freehub body in order
starting from largest to smallest cog.
- Line up the Wide Part of the cluster
with the Wide Part of the freehub to
slide down.
- Please note the spacer placement
between the 19-17, and between 17-15.
Place a light coating of grease on the
lock ring threads. Then, using a a Park
FR-5 Cassette lock ring tool and
adjustable wrench, tighten down the
lock ring clockwise to 40nm of torque.
You are finished with cassette install.
REAR DERAILLEUR - Follow the
setup directions of your Shimano/
SRAM 10sp rear derailleur.
VIP NOTE : You must check/adjust
your HIGH & LOW set screws. Also, your
B-Tension screw will need to be
screwed down more and/or adjusted for
the upper pulley to clear the larger 40T
cog.
2. In correct order...
Simply continue sliding the gearing on
freehub in correct order until the full
cassette is all the way on the body.
REMOVAL OF CASSETTE...
Using a chain-whip or cassette wrench
to hold the cassette steady, use the
same Park FR-5 tool and adjustable
wrench to remove cassette. Simply
hold the cassette steady and unscrew
the lock ring counter-clockwise.
Once the lock ring is unthreaded and
off, you can remove the cassette from
the body.
