Some of the cars will be visiting Grays Lake and the Jasper Winery. We will be showing our cars at the Valley Junction Farmers Market that same evening. Friday, August 9th, we will be spending the day in the Norwalk Area. We will be at Harvey’s Automotive at 9:30am. Then we will be eating lunch in Norwalk. We are letting people eat wherever they choose in Norwalk, so this would be a great opportunity for the food businesses to provide discount tickets for us to include in the “goody bags” we give to each person. And if they wanted to donate a gift certificate, we will present that as a prize at the Drivers Meeting on Friday morning before we leave the hotel for the day. We will then proceed to Ted Lare’s Gardens from 2pm-4pm, then back to Norwalk around 5pm for a car show at Scotts Foods. We will also be eating dinner here in Norwalk, so this is a second opportunity for our food businesses as well as other business to provide discount coupons and/or gift certificates to get people into their business. Saturday, August 10th We will be touring the Governor’s Mansion and Fort Des Moines Museum. We already have more than 30 cars registered and we will be driving these cars to all of our destinations. It is an AWESOME sight to see. If you would like to donate something for their Goodie Bags, Please call Tammy Warren at 515-577-1562. She can answer any and all questions about the cars themselves or if someone has discount coupons/ gift certificates, she will be glad to pick them up.
