American Classic Tours 2014 Presentation
Thursday, March 20; 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the SST
Special presentation about BACOA’s upcoming
American Classic Tours trips for 2014, including
New York Theater, Mark Twain’s Hometown,
Canadian Rockies by Train, Mississippi River
Cruise, Summertime Mini-Mystery Tour, National
Parks, Frankenmuth Oktoberfest, Autumn in the
Adirondacks, Door County in the Fall, and Branson
Christmas. Trip dates are May-November. RSVP to

BACOA and the Barrington Park District will sponsor
a day trip to Place de la Musique, the Sanfilippo
Estate in Barrington Hills. The estate features a
collection of beautifully restored antique music
machines, phonographs, Tiffany lamps, art glass, the
world’s largest restored theatre pipe organ and the
restored Eden Palais carousel. The trip includes a
three- hour guided tour of the Sanfilippo Collection
and lunch at the Onion Pub in Lake Barrington.
The group will depart from the Barrington Park
District; transportation is via motor coach. Limited
seating is available; registration deadline is March

at the Culinary Arts and Hospitality
Institute of Elgin
Thursday, April 10; 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Cost: $8 plus meal costs
BACOA and the Barrington Park District will
cosponsor the trip. Students from the institute’s
culinary classes will cook and serve the lunch.
Attendees will order off a lunch menu; price range
for the lunch is $14-18 plus tip. The group will depart
from the Barrington Park District; transportation is
by Park District vans. Limited seating is available;
