Special Recognition
Wright Patterson AFB, OH
From the Department of the Air Force Headquarters 88th Air Base Wing
(AFMC)...
“In preparation for the AFMC Freedom’s Call TATTOO during the week of
22-26 June 2015 Trailboss was called upon to endure the delivery of equipment,
DV transportation, and crew support to host the excpected 50,000 spectators.
Unfortunately, severe weather forced us to cancelled the event just hours before
the show.
Trailboss employees ensured all of the production transportation needs were
available, delivered and in place to support not only the venue requirements, but
also those of the participating aircrews and Wings of Blue Parachute Team. Team
“Motorpool” went above and beyond as one of our UDRIVES experienced a flat
tire. With a simple telephone call this issue was resolved immediately saving what
could have been a serious setback to the performance if the show had gone on.
Likewise, following the event, the transportation needs of returning equipment
to include transporting the RSU to flightline were completed as scheduled! With
limited resources, our production could not have been successful without the hard
work and dedication provided by this team.
The entire staff is very appreciative of the time and hard work put forth to ensure
the success of what would have been a grand performance if only the weather had
held out.”

NHTSA Safe Winter Driving
Winter driving may be hazardous and scary, especially in northern regions where
they get a lot of snow and ice. Additional preparations may help make a trip safer,
or help motorists deal with an emergency. This information sheet put together by
National Highway Traffic Safety Administration provides safety information for to
use to help prevent motor vehicle injuries due to winter storms.
The Three P’s of Safe Winter Driving:
PREPARE for the trip; PROTECT yourself; and PREVENT crashes on the road.
PREPARE
Maintain Your Car: check battery, tire tread, and windshield wipers, keep your
windows clear, put no-freeze fluid in the washer reservoir, and check your
antifreeze.
Have On Hand: flashlight, jumper cables, abrasive material (sand, kitty litter, even
floor mats), shovel, snow brush and ice scraper, warning devices (like flares) and
blankets. For long trips, add food and water, medication and cell phone.
Stopped or Stalled? Stay with your car, don’t over exert, put bright markers on
antenna or windows and shine dome lights, and, if you run your car, clear exhaust
pipe and run it just enough to stay warm.
Plan Your Route: Allow plenty of time (check the weather and leave early if
necessary), be familiar with the maps/directions, and let others know your route
and arrival time.
PROTECT YOURSELF - buckle up and use child safety seats properly, never place
a rear-facing infant seat in front of an air bag; children 12 and under are much safer
in the back seat.
PREVENT CRASHES: drugs and alcohol never mix with driving, slow down and
increase distances between cars, keep your eyes open for pedestrians walking in
the road, avoid fatigue - get plenty of rest before the trip, stop at least every three
hours, and rotate drivers if possible.
If you are planning to drink, designate a sober driver.

Harlingen, TX on August 22, 2015. The focus of this summit has been expanded to
encompass not just veterans but all South Texans. The Summit puts an emphasis
on the need to provide information and resources in four areas: employment,
healthcare, education and financial literacy.
Trailboss received a Congressional Recognition Certificate for our contribution
to the Summit this year. Mr. Boulouf and Mr. Ybarra did an outstanding job
representing Trailboss at the Summit.
