to keep students informed about what’s going on in their building
through the USU E-Newsletter and website. All year, we ensured the

The Commercial Services department provides oversight of Retail Services, the Games Center, the

The USU Games Center held three Association of College Unions International-qualifying
College Beat Productions, USU’s TV station that offers students hands-on experience in
production, was considered by Fox News as a winner for its Fox News Challenge for college
students. The segment was an in-depth piece on rising gas costs and alternative-fuel options.
College Beat hosted a fun-filled, red carpet screening of its work completed in the fall and spring
semesters.
The College Beat offices were remodeled during the summer in order to provide a friendlier
and inviting space in which student staff and volunteers work.
