February 2014
From
the President
Jayson Jones
We are moving forward
with the year, after having
our Annual Chamber
Banquet, which provided
a very engaging and
gracious speaker, Steve
Clark. If you attended, I
hope Mr. Clark's very
personal and transparent
talk
gave
you
an
opportunity to learn and
grow. I felt his message
of learning from his
mistakes and not letting
them define him or disable
him,
and
ultimately
changing him as a person
allowinghim to still be
successful,
was
remarkable. As always a
special Thank Y ou to the
Staff (Melisa, Arlene and
Ina) is always in order for
all the hard work they do
in making this a success!
Also to the volunteers,
chamber members, board
members and all the
organizations
that
participated in setting up
and cleaning up, Thank
you!
2014 Annual Banquet
The 2014 Annual Banquet will be remembered as the banquet
with a great speaker, a moving Hall of Honor Tribute, and yes,
we got out on time! Steve Clark, President and CEO of the
Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce gave a moving speech on
personal and professional mistakes and the redemption that
he now enjoys. He spoke of ethics and doing what is right in
our everyday lives. The chamber recognized and honored our
2013 major event sponsors as well as special citizens that
contribute profoundly to the betterment of our community.
