Navesink Business Group Announces Waves of Support Gala
“A Taste of Broadway on the Promenade” to honor locals and raise funds for 10 shore towns
Red Bank, NJ—September 3, 2014—Navesink Business Group is thrilled to announce that their Waves of Support fundraising
gala, “A Taste of Broadway on the Promenade” will take place on Monday, September 22, 2014, at the historic Molly Pitcher Inn, 88
Riverside Ave, Red Bank, New Jersey. “A Taste of Broadway on the Promenade will be the grand finale of Waves of Support,” said
Navesink Business Group founder Robert Lowe. “Part of the evening will be dedicated to honoring several organizations and
individuals who have made significant efforts in aiding our local communities.”
The event begins with cocktails at 6 pm with entertainment by the Sherri Pie Duo, includes a silent auction featuring Mike Ciccotello,
founder of the Coffee Cup Doodle Project, spectacular entertainment, and a five-course dinner featuring selections from the stars of
Monmouth County's culinary landscape.
Headlining the evening's entertainment will be a performance by The Broadway Dolls, an award-winning New York City concert
experience. Their roster features a number of dynamic women hailing directly from the Broadway casts of such shows as Mamma
Mia, Rock of Ages and Jersey Boys.
Dinner will include hors d'oeuvres and several courses prepared by some of Monmouth County's top dining spots. Among the
featured restaurants are Ama Ristorante, Antoinette Boulangerie, Danny's Steak House, Dino’s on Main, Dish, Fromagerie, Teak, The
Bistro, Langosta Lounge, The Cheese Cave and Zoe, plus the Executive Chefs from The Molly Pitcher Inn and The Oyster Point Hotel.
The evening's honorees include The Foodbank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties, Clean Ocean Action, Hometown Heroes, the
Buhler Family, and George Lyristis of Bistro Boys Management and Red Bank Flavour.
The gala is the third event of NBG's Waves of Support initiative, a campaign created with Jersey Promise to raise funds for continued
Sandy relief for Shore communities and to support tourism at the Jersey Shore. Ten randomly chosen Monmouth and Ocean County
towns have selected various organizations and businesses as recipients of the proceeds. Recipients will include the Foodbank of
Monmouth and Ocean Counties, Sea Bright Rising, Keyport Ministerium Food Pantry, Churches of the Manasquan Area Ministerium,
Habitat for Humanity, Visitation Relief Center, Hometown Heroes and the Jersey Shore Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Organizations associated with this event include the Monmouth-Ocean Development Council, Jersey Shore Convention and Visitors
Bureau, Freehold Network for Success, and the Northern Monmouth, Jersey Shore, Asbury Park, and Brick Chambers of Commerce.
Tickets for the event are $195 per person, or $1750 for a table of 10, and can be purchased in advance by visiting

THE BROADWAY DOLLS is a “Best of Manhattan” award-winning concert experience featuring a roster of

Dear Friend of Navesink Business Group,
Each year, the Navesink Business Group business and networking consortium selects a cause or charitable
organization to support. For several years, we've held various events to benefit local recipients, from
contributing to Lunch Break to helping a Red Bank business reopen after significant damage from
Superstorm Sandy. This year, we've partnered with Jersey Promise to organize our most ambitious initiative to
date. Waves of Support is an effort to boost local tourism and raise funds for 10 randomly chosen Jersey
Shore communities that are still affected by the Sandy aftermath.
The ten selected towns and/or representative organizations – Keansburg, Highlands, Union Beach, Sea
Bright, Long Branch, Belmar, Manasquan, Brick, Seaside Heights and Seaside Park – will identify local
organizations or businesses to receive a share of the proceeds raised. Among the recipients already chosen
are the Keyport Ministerium Food Pantry, Foodbank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties, Visitation Relief
Center, Churches of the Manasquan Area Ministerium, Habitat for Humanity and Sea Bright Rising.
A series of three Waves of Support events began last November with events in Seaside Park and Sea Bright.
The events will culminate with an evening gala, “A Taste of Broadway on the Promenade,” that will take place
on Monday, September 22, 2014, at the historic Molly Pitcher Inn, located in Red Bank.
Because of generous donations from sponsors and those who have supported our events, we are on the way
to our fundraising goal. However, we are still seeking donations from both businesses and individuals in
order to fully attain our goal of $100,000 and provide assistance to our local communities.

We've just announced the details of our Waves of Support grand finale event, to be held September 22 at
the Molly Pitcher Inn in Red Bank, NJ. The evening gala, “A Taste of Broadway on the Promenade,” will
feature dishes prepared by some of the Jersey Shore's top chefs, plus award-winning entertainment. The gala
continues Navesink Business Group's initiative to raise funds for 10 Jersey Shore communities and businesses
that were directly impacted by Superstorm Sandy. A portion of the proceeds will also benefit the Boys and
Girls Clubs of Monmouth County.
In order to meet our total fundraising goal of $100,000, we are asking for sponsorships and support from
local businesses and individuals. We ask that you will consider one of our sponsorship levels, detailed on the
following page. From "Tony Award" to "Mezzanine," any contribution is greatly appreciated and will make a
difference.
Waves of Support brings together many of Monmouth and Ocean Counties business and community
organizations, including local and regional chambers of commerce and tourism organizations. The evening
will give these like-minded organizations, as well as the people who love our coastal communities, the
chance to celebrate and support tourism for the Jersey Shore, and proclaim that “The Jersey Shore is Open
For Business.”
