1 Buy the book (with CD-ROM) or use the copy in the library.
2 Depending on the score in the “Wortschatztest” of last semester’s Einstufungstest, work
on either the Upper Intermediate (Score below 9400) or Advanced (Score over 9400)
version.
3 For Upper Intermediate the following 30 Units are required: 1-10, 21-26, 42-44, 57, 62,
69-70, 72, 74, 77.
For Advanced a total of 33 Units are required: Units i-viii (8 Units). Select 25 further units
from the following: 2-3, 11-12, 13-19, 44-50, 51-54, 59-61, 70-74, 75-77, 80-84
4 First work on the above units in the workbook.
5 Then do the exercises on the CD-ROM for each of the above units. After completing the
page, first click on “check answers” to get your score. Then, move your mouse cursor
away from this button and back again to the “Finish” button, and click on it (this way your
score will be entered on your progress sheet). Note that there may be several pages of
exercises for each unit. When you are finished with the units in one section, click on
progress and print out the sheet.

2 You start this program by clicking on the desktop icon “DP”.
3 Login with your Matrikel-Nr. as User-Name and the Password that you used in the
“Einstufungstest.”
4 Please select either Course B2.1 (if your score was under 75 in the “Einstufungstest) or
B2.2 (score of 75 or more).
5 Choose the topics you would like to work on from the 24 stations. Each station consists
of a fotostory and ca. 12 exercise pages. You are required to complete 7 stations. You can
also work in the Reference Section (for example, Grammar). Altogether you should work
10 hours with this program.
6 Important: Make sure to click on „Correction“ (at the top of the page), after you have
completed the exercises on the page. All your work is automatically recorded by the
“Intelliplan”. Very Important: If the program crashes, restart the program immediately.
7 When you are finished, print out the Intelliplan. Right mouse-click on course name.
