Muttersberg Trail 1401 – 4.5 km | Downhill Action on change in
altitude of 720 meters
Ready to explore your limits? An eleven minute ride on a quick
cable car gets you to the top of the Muttersberg, which is located
1401 meters above sea level.
The Single-Trail presents itself with a lot of diverse sections and
will attract a majority of bikers – no matter if you are a Freerider or
Downhiller. The four different sections over a distance of 4.5 km,
a change in altitude of 720 meters as well as a downhill decline of
up to 20% represent a major challenge for rider and equipment adrenalin, action & fun for Trailriders, Speed- and Downhillfreaks.
The downhill track consists of mostly natural trails, without
wooden ramps or other artificial barriers. On the initial section a
flowline gets you dialed in to a sequence of waves and jumps then
leading to steeper terrain with more difficult and narrow-turns.
The entire second section is characterized by high speed, drift and
extreme sloping positions through shaped wall rides, giving all
bikers an additional adrenalin buzz. Section 3 guarantees some
nice airtime, as drops encourage riders to jump. After passing a
number of Newschool & Bikepark elements, the trail concludes to
a ride on mainly forested terrain and solid rock trails, demanding a
high level of skill, concentration and perserverance. The final table
jump allows riders to present all their willpower and style.

Stellst du dich der Herausforderung? Eine schnelle Kabinenbahn
bringt dich in 11 Minuten und ohne langes Anstehen zum Start auf
1401 Meter.
Auf dem längsten Single-Trail Vorarlbergs kommen Freerider und
Downhiller gleichermaßen auf ihre Kosten.
Mit nur einer Liftfahrt werden 4,5 km Länge, rasante 720 Höhenmeter und Gefälle bis 20% zur Herausforderung für Biker und
Equipment. Bei den vier unterschiedlichen Streckenabschnitten
kommt jeder auf seine Kosten - Adrenalin, Action & Fun für
Speedfreaks, Trailrider oder Downhiller.
Die Downhill-Strecke 1401 besteht fast ausschließlich nur aus
natürlichen Trails, ohne Holzrampen und anderen künstlichen
Hindernissen. Der erste Abschnitt beginnt als Flowline mit
Wellen und Jumps, bevor es im steileren Gelände die ersten
schwierigen Narrow-Turns zu bewältigen gibt. Im zweiten Sektor
werden Speed, Drift und extreme Schräglagen in geshapten
Wallrides (Steilkurven) zum Erlebnis. Im nächsten Abschnitt
laden Drops zu Sprüngen ein – Airtime ist angesagt. Der letzte
Abschnitt wurde bewusst sehr natürlich belassen, um nach
Newschool & Bikepark Elemeten zuvor zur ursprünglichsten Art
des Mountainbikens zurückzukehren. Wurzeln, natürliche Hindernisse und Steine verlangen Konzentration und Geschick bevor
beim letzten Table-Jump im Tal mutige Rider noch einmal ihre
Überwindung testen können.
