Wir kreieren, produzieren und verkaufen Kleidung an die Textilveredlungsbranche seit
1994. Wir waren die Erfinder des maßgeschneiderten Damen T-Shirts (der „Continental
Fit“) für den Großhandel in ganz Europa und wir sind auch weiterhin führend in Innovation,
Design und Nachhaltigkeit. Wir konzentrieren uns auf die Entwicklung hochqualitativer,
stylisher und verantwortungsvoll produzierter Bekleidung für Märkte wie den Einzelhandel,

We have been designing, manufacturing and distributing clothing to the garment decoration industry
since 1994. We were the innovators of the wholesale women’s fitted T-shirt in Europe (the “Continental

Nachhaltige Produktion ist das Herstellen von Produkten durch ökonomische Prozesse,

und natürliche Ressourcen sparen. Nachhaltige Produktion erhöht auch die Sicherheit von
Beschäftigten, Gemeinschaft und Produkt.
Continental Clothing ist sich bewusst, dass die Textilindustrie einer der umweltschädlichsten
Industriezweige der Welt ist und unternimmt entscheidende, oft zukunftweisende Schritte,
um diese negativen Einflüsse zu reduzieren. Dies beginnt schon bei der Beschaffung des
Rohmaterials – einflussarme Baumwolle, Lyocell (Tencel®), Bambusviskose und recyceltes
Polyester in der Continental®-Kollektion, 100% Biobaumwolle in der EarthPositive®-Kollektion
sowie recycelte Biobaumwolle und recyceltes Polyester in der Salvage®-Kollektion, bei der

SUSTAINABLE MANUFACTURING
Sustainable manufacturing is the creation of manufactured products through economically-sound processes that minimize
negative environmental impacts while conserving energy and natural resources. Sustainable manufacturing also enhances
employee, community, and product safety.
Continental Clothing Co. recognises that garment manufacturing is one of the most environmentally damaging and
harmful industrial sectors on the planet, and takes decisive and often pioneering steps towards addressing the many
negative impacts. Starting with the sourcing of raw materials, the Company ensures full traceability of all fibres, choosing
low impact cotton, Tencel® Lyocel, bamboo viscose and recycled polyester in the Continental® range, 100 % certified
organic cotton in the EarthPositive® range, and recycled organic cotton blended with recycled polyester in the Salvage®
range.
Continental Clothing Co. has been a vivid supporter of many high profile campaigns, including the Clean Cotton
Campaign, Pick Your Cotton Carefully, and has been working with the Environmental Justice Foundation and the Pesticide
Action Network for many years. The Company is certified under the Global Organic Textile Standard and the Global
Recycle Standard.
Confection Durable
La confection durable est une création de produit par le biais d’un processus qui minimise les impacts négatifs sur
l’environnement en conservant les énergies et ressources naturelles. Une telle confection est également bénéfique pour

La confection de vêtements est l’une des industries les plus polluantes et dangereuses pour l’environnement au monde.
Continental Clothing mène des actions, souvent avant-gardistes, afin de réduire ces nombreux effets négatifs.
Cela commence par le choix des matières premières. L’entreprise utilise du coton à faible impact environemental, du
Tencel® Lyocel, de la viscose de bambou et du polyester recyclé dans la gamme Continental®, du coton certifié biologique
à 100 % dans la gamme EarthPositive® et du coton biologique recyclé mélangé à du polyester recyclé dans la gamme

GARNE UND MATERIALIEN
Die Qualität der Garne und Materialien ist die Basis für das Ziel des Unternehmens, Produkte
höchster Qualität zu liefern.
Continental Clothing kontrolliert im Rahmen einer vertikal integrierten Fertigungsstruktur den
Spinnprozess von fast 70 % der in der Produktion verwendeten Garne. Der Rest wird aus
ausgewählten Quellen extern beschafft. Alle verwendeten Materialien sind gekämmt und
ringgesponnen.
Alle Materialien werden werksintern gestrickt, mit GOTS zugelassenen Chemikalien unter
geringem Wasserverbrauch und kontrollierter Abwassereinleitung gefärbt; sie sind Ökotex
Standard 100 Klasse I zertifiziert und REACH-konform.
Biologisch zertifizierte Materialien werden in unseren Null-Abwasser Färbereien gefärbt,
in denen das Abwasser in einem geschlossenen System aufbereitet wird.
YARNS AND FABRICS
The quality of the yarns and fabrics is the foundation of the Company’s approach to delivering the highest quality
garments.
Continental Clothing Co. controls the spinning process of almost seventy percent of all the yarns used in production
as part of its vertically-integrated manufacturing structure, with the remainder being carefully sourced externally.
All the yarns used by the Company are fully combed and ring spun.
All the fabrics are knitted at our in-house facilities, and dyed with GOTS approved chemicals, using low-water and
controlled waste discharge processes, certified to OekoTex 100 Class I standard and conforming to REACH.
Organic certified fabrics are dyed in our zero-discharge dyehouse, where all the water is recycled in a closed-loop system.
Fils et tissus
La qualité des fils et tissus est la fondation de l’approche de l’entreprise pour fournir des vêtements grande qualité.
L’entreprise Continental Clothing, a une structure de confection verticalement intégrée et contrôle ainsi le filage de près
de 70% des fils utilisés dans la production. Le reste des fils est soigneusement sélectionné. Tous les fils utilisés par
l’entreprise sont intégralement peignés et pré-rétrécis.
Tous les tissus sont tissés dans nos locaux et teints avec des produits chimiques approuvés par GOTS, utilisant
un procédé faible en eau et s’assurant de la gestion des déchets, certifiés sous la norme OekoTex 100 Class I
et conformément à REACH.
Les tissus certifiés biologiques sont teints dans notre teinturerie sans aucun rejet de déchets. L’eau utilisée est recyclée
via un système de boucle fermée.

CO2-REDUZIERUNG
Der Kohlenstoff-Fußabdruck (CO2e) umfasst die gesamte Emission von Kohlenstoffdioxid,
Methan, Stickoxid und anderer Treibgase, die bei Anbau und Ernte der Baumwolle, Faserherstellung, Textilproduktion, Verpacken, Transport und Lagerung anfällt.
Continental Clothing war 2008 das erste Unternehmen in der Welt, bei dem der KohlenstoffFußabdruck für textile Erzeugnisse berechnet wurde und das das Carbon Reduction Label
erhalten hat.
Wir haben den Kohlenstoff-Fußabdruck unserer EarthPositive® Produkte durch Kombination
von innovativem Produktdesign, einflussarmem biologischen Landbau, Effizienz in der
Produktion und Nutzung von erneuerbarer Windenergie um ca. 90 % gesenkt. Wir verwenden keine Offsets und unsere CO2-Kalkulationen sind von Carbon Trust Certifications
zertifiziert.
Es wurde ermittelt, dass ein einzelnes EarthPositive® T-Shirt rund 7 kg CO2e einspart und
ein Hoody bis zu 28 kg.
Da die Treibhausgasemissionen auf ein vorindustrielles Niveau gesenkt wurden, tragen alle
EarthPositive® Produkte das eingetragene Zeichen „CLIMATE NEUTRAL“.
CARBON FOOTPRINT REDUCTION
The carbon footprint (CO2e) is the total carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and other greenhouse gases emitted
during the cultivation and harvesting of cotton, fibre processing, textile production, packaging, transportation and
warehousing.
In January 2008, Continental Clothing Co. became the first company in the world to calculate the carbon footprint and
place the Carbon Reduction Label on textile products.
We have reduced the carbon footprint of EarthPositive ® products by around 90 % through a combination of innovative
product design, low impact organic agriculture, efficiency in manufacturing, and by replacing standard grid electricity
with renewable wind power. We do not use carbon offsets and our footprint calculations are certified by the Carbon Trust
Certifications in the U.K.
It has been calculated that a single EarthPositive ® T-shirt saves around 7 kilograms of CO2e, whereas a hooded sweatshirt
saves up to 28 kgs.
Having taken the greenhouse gas emissions to pre-industrial levels, all the EarthPositive ® products carry the registered
mark “Climate Neutral”.

BEDRUCKBARKEIT
Alle unsere Produkte sind speziell für die Textilveredlung konzipiert und eignen sich – mit
Ausnahme der ungefärbten Taschen – für jede Art von Siedrucktechnik und Farbe, auch
für Discharge-Druck.
Unsere Produkte sind dank ihrer hochwertigen Oberflächenstruktur besonders gut für
Digitaldirektdruck (DTG) geeignet.
Wir empfehlen dringend nur Druckverfahren und Druckfarben zu verwenden, die die Umwelt
weniger belasten, keine Phtalate, aromatische Lösungsmittel oder PVC enthalten, sondern
wasserbasiert sind und Umwelt- und Ökostandards entsprechen.
Das neue Continental® Sublimation T-Shirt aus 100 % recyceltem Polyester wurde speziell
für Sublimationsdruck entwickelt.
PRINTING SUITABILITY
All our products are designed and manufactured specifically for garment decorating, and, with the exception of un-dyed
bags, are suitable for all screen-printing techniques and all ink types, including discharge printing.
Because of the high quality surface finish, our garments perform particularly well with digital direct-to-garment (DTG)
printing.
We strongly urge the use of ink types and printing processes with a low environmental impact, without phthalates or
aromatic solvents, non-PVC, water-based, compliant with environmental and organic standards.
The new Continental® Sublimation T-shirt, made from 100 % recycled polyester, is designed especially for sublimation
transfer printing.
Techniques d’impression possibleS
Tous nos produits sont conçus et confectionnés dans l’optique d’être décorés et peuvent être imprimés en utilisant tous
types d’encres, y compris l’impression rongeant - à l’exception de nos sacs non teints.
La grande qualité de la surface de nos vêtements est tout particulièrement adaptée à l’impression numérique directe
sur textile (DTG).
Nous recommandons fortement l’utilisation d’encres et de procédés d’impression avec un faible impact sur
l’environnement, sans phtalates ou solvants aromatiques, sans PVC, à base d’eau et conforme aux normes
environnementales.
Le nouveau Continental® Sublimation T-shirt est fabriqué avec 100 % de polyester recyclé, conçu spécialement
