Give yourself a great rate
and save money, too!
Mortgage rates are still hovering near all-time lows, so now is
a great time to refinance your loan or buy a new home if you’re
in the market. Refinancing may lower your monthly payments
or shorten the term of your loan, and that saves you money.
Bank of Yates City has committed $2 million to a special pool of
fixed-rate mortgage loans. To-date, the bank has closed
$1,000,000 in new mortgage loans through this program.
Contact Mike Renner or Wayne Wrage about our special
rates on 10- and 15-year loans.
If you are unsure if it’s worthwhile to refinance, we can help.
We’ll provide a free analysis of your current mortgage loan and
tell you if it makes sense to refinance.
Whether you’re a young family wanting a bigger home or an
empty-nester looking for a smaller home, come to
Bank of Yates City for your real estate financing needs.

Consumer reporting companies must provide you with a free
copy of your credit report, at your request, once every 12
months. A credit report contains information on where you live,
how much you owe, and if you pay your bills on time.
Order a copy of your credit report once a year to guard against
identity theft. Make sure it is accurate and includes only those
activities you have authorized.
You can order your free annual credit report online at
www.annualcreditreport.com, by calling 877-322-8228, or by
completing the Annual Credit Report Request Form and mailing
it to:
Annual Credit Report Request Service
P.O. Box 105281
Atlanta, GA 30348-5281
The Annual Credit Report Request Form may be found online at:
https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/requestformfinal.pdf
When you order, you need to provide your name, address,
Social Security number, and date of birth. To verify your identity,
you may need to provide some information that only you would
know, like the amount of your monthly mortgage payment.
Unfortunately, due to privacy concerns, Bank of Yates City
cannot request a free credit report on your behalf.
Lease your next tractor or combine
Of all the ways to acquire
equipment, leasing is the method
most frequently used. Today, 8
out of 10 American companies
lease some or all of their needed
equipment.
n Leasing can be a good way to
transfer equipment from father
to son.
Leasing is cost effective for
farmers and agri-business.
Equipment is costly and some of
the costs can be unexpected.
When you lease, your risk of
getting caught with obsolete
equipment is lower because you
can upgrade or add equipment
to best meet your needs.
Another key leasing advantage
is the option for 100% financing.
n Leasing helps you pay for
equipment matching the
equipment’s earnings or
savings with the lease
payments.
n You may be able to preserve
existing credit lines for short
term needs.
n Leasing flexibility enable the
payment structure to fit your
cash flow needs.
n You can lease new or used
equipment.
n You will have an option to
purchase the equipment at the
end of the lease term.
Here are a few of the reasons
that leasing makes sense:
n The lease payment is fixed
for the lease term and most
lease payments are 100%
tax deductible. A lease can
accelerate the deductions
compared to the allowances
available with depreciation.*
We can help you determine if
leasing makes sense for your farm
or argri-business and what type of
lease is best. For additional details,
contact Greg Wessel or Wayne
Wrage at (309) 358-1415 or Mike
Renner at (309) 245-4000.
Business Spotlight
The Burt Coyote Company
Curt and Eric Price started their manufacturing business in 1998 with
Lumenoks, which are lighted arrow nocks. The business has steadily grown
and today have sold 3 million Lumenoks.
Curt and Eric have banked at Bank of Yates City nearly their entire lives.
They like the importance the bank places on the customer. For example,
Wayne Wrage came to the bank on a Sunday to cut a check for loan
proceeds on a new van.
The bank has helped The Burt Coyote Company construct a new building
and provide operating capital. “Wayne Wrage
and Greg Wessel have been great to deal
with,” said the Prices. “They always seem to
come through when we need them. Every year
brings new challenges that the bank can help
us with.”
When asked for one word to describe the Bank
of Yates City, Curt and Eric responded “family.”
