DESCRIPTION
EPSVIEW-N8 is an electronic module easy to install, that allows you to integrate professionally aftermarket parking sensors on the
Volkswagen Group vehicles equipped with the OEM radio.
The device allows to display on the OEM radio of VW group the signalling of the parking sensors as it happens for the OEM parking sensors.
CONNECTIONS
The harness supplied with PARKVIEW is split in 2 sections, the first is composed by 4 wires to connect back the OEM radio of the vehicle.
In the QUADLOCK plug it must to connect:
YELLOW to the +12vdc positive wire
BLACK to the GND negative wire
GREEN to the CAN H
WHITE to the CAN L
PINK to the POWER wire of the park sensor
The diagram above suggests how to manage the connections, the QUADLOCK plug is seen from the wire output side.
The second section of the harness is a kind of extension long 5 mt that must to lay down till the boot where is located the PARK SENSOR device.
Then connect the terminals of the ORANGE (position 6) and GREY (position 1) wires to the 24 ways connector of the PARK SENSOR as above described.
The kit is composed by 2 sensors one for the front the second for the rear. The connections diagram is the same for both.

A long press (3 sec) of OK button of the steering wheel commands turns on / off the
sensors when car is driving below 10 km/h speed.
ATTENTION
THE PARKING SENSORS UNIT MUST TO BE INSTALLED ABSOLUTELY ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE CAR’S BOOT OTHERWISE THE PARKING
OPERATIONS WILL BE DISPLAYED INVERTED!
ATTENTION
DO NOT INSTALL THE BUZZER SUPPLIED TOGETHER WITH THE PARKING SENSORS KIT BUT PLEASE USE THE ONE PRE-CABLED ON THE
HARNESS SUPPLIED WITH PARKVIEW.
Switching on the parking sensors, the leds of the front/rear parkview will generate some red/green flashes, confirming the
right working.

Once the connection are done the system is immediately ready to work, each time the canbus line will wake up the LED of EPSVIEWN8 will light GREEN to indicate the correct behaviour of the module.
Then by insert the back gear the ACTIVE PARK will activate, consequently EPSVIEW-N8 will activate the visualizing on the OEM radio.
With some radio it is managed also the MUTE of the radio.
By removing the back gear the visualizing will be interrupted once the vehicle is over 10 kmh.

WARNING!
IF YOU NEED TO INSTAL THE SAME UNIT IN A NEW CAR IT IS NECESSARY TO RESET THE MODULE.
RESET:
1.
WITH THE UNIT POWERED, PRESS AND KEEP PRESSED THE UNIT BUTTON TILL THE LED SWITCH OFF.
2.
WITH THE LED SWITCHED OFF RELEASE THE BUTTON, THE RESET IS DONE.
