The Hub is a new Cancer Support Drop In
at Crossgates Methodist Church (rear entrance)
11am-1pm on the first Monday of every month
Where those who have the experience of
cancer are welcome to access support.
This can be regularly, or from time to time,
for part of, or the whole of a session
as each individual feels is necessary.
The aim is to provide a warm and friendly
environment where people can build
friendships, share experiences, build peer
support, access listening services
with people who understand first hand.
Hopefully, also sharing some laughter and fun
over a cuppa and a snack.
This service is free; relying on local fund-raising.

Chrismon Day
is fast approaching (29th November)
I will be collecting gold and white items
that can be used to make Chrismon tree
decorations. There will be a collection
point in the link. ~ Margaret
PS: I am also collecting buttons and
metal zips of any shape, size and colour,

Owing to the expected birth of Jason and Claire's
baby, Boys’ Brigade will have fewer leaders
during November and the start of December.
If anyone would be willing to help out by coming
along to a meeting as an extra adult helper please
sign up on the sheet on the BB board in the hall.

`Living Differently`
AN INVITATION TO LUNCH.
I would like to celebrate my forthcoming 80th
birthday with you all. I have a lot to be thankful
for in my life. The Church and Church Family
mean a lot to me and I see no better way to
celebrate than by inviting you all to lunch on
Sunday 16th November.
The hall is booked for lunch after the service.
In a week or two, when you have had time to
consider if you can join me, I will put a note on
the notice board for you to add your names.
I will need to know for catering purposes.
All I ask is PLEASE NO PRESENTS, just come
and help me celebrate. Thank you - Freda.
