URGENT: 5 DAYS to review and report on Cisco Nexus/
other Cisco gear OS bug issues
Work under guidance of network architect.
Excellent contract rate for short term contract like this!
Port Melbourne location.
Short and sweet:
Requirement = immediate for skilled engineer to scour/
review/ follow up and summarise the known bugs versus OS
releases
Data centre environment.
New build in progress and pending testing.
Cisco Nexus 6K & 7K switches, ASR 9K, etc + other Cisco
gear in new build need close review.
Need to identify IOS/NXOS software versions to be run in the
new system(s).
MPLS network in place. Implications of OS issues on build is
key focus of this role.
Different chassis = different functions, so it is not a generic
solution or report that we need.
CCDP/ CCNP/ CCIE candidates are most likely to make short
list
Timeframe:
Commences on Monday, 13 October
1/2 day briefing and whiteboard introduction
4 days to analyse architect's design documents and generate
report on known fixes and workarounds
1/2 day to present findings
No tyre kickers please!! Excellent architect level rate for right
candidate. Relevant prior experience (WAN/ core/ protocols/
fabric switching/ virtualised core)is needed to hit the access floor
running.
