When it comes time to choose child care, you always
want what is best for your child. That means quality
care in a safe environment. Here at Dyess, we offer
several types of child care. One option is Family
Child Care (FCC). FCC offers quality and safe care
by professionally trained military family members
that provide care in a home environment. Our
licensed providers care for no more than 6 children
with only two under 2 years old in a home.
More important than finding the right program is
finding the right provider to care for your children.
When visiting the provider’s home, ask thorough
questions to see if that home will be a good fit for you
and your child. The FCC program makes sure your
children are cared for no matter the time, day or
location you are working. Overnight, shifts or on call:
they are safely cared for while you serve! Airmen
returning from overseas deployment can reintegrate.
Children with special needs can receive
quality care. Unpack boxes or attend
appointments without children/youth
underfoot. It’s all covered! Most
programs are free or provide an offset to
reduce the parent’s out-of-pocket
expense. You don’t have to interrupt
your job or day’s schedule of events. AF
FCC has your needs in mind! Family
Child Care offers several different special
programs serving 2 weeks to 12 yrs old.
