Position Title: Risk Manager
Opportunity Type: Full-Time
Opportunity Location: Chicago, IL
Job Responsibilities:
-Administration of the claims process;
-Point of contact for Company’s personnel, members, and external parties
-Send out incident notices to Executive Mgmt.
-Oversee company investigations
-Manage the Company’s RTW program
-Reporting – Prepare reports to management as it relates to the company’s risk management -programs;
OSHA logs
-Monthly claim reports
-Run quarterly claims meetings with management
-Present trends and review incidents at month department meetings
-Financial claim analysis forecasting for management
-Contract Administration;
-Review of Wellness Center contracts and insurance certificates
-Review Wellness Centers vendor contracts
-Provide training to management at Company’s Quarterly Ops Meetings
-Discussed recent claim, legal or loss prevent trends
-Assist the Director of Insurance in the insurance renewal process
-Interact with the Company’s brokers in placement of company’s risk
-Conduct policy reviews
-Premium allocation analysis
-Assist in the administration of the company’s overall insurance and risk programs;
-Issuance of Certificates of Insurance
-Take part in Wellness Center safety walks
-Assist in the development of Company corporate policies and protocols
Experience:


College Degree
3-5yrs of Risk Management Experience (Claims handling, Contract Administration and Loss
Prevention)
Business/Technical Knowledge Requirement:
-Health club industry knowledge
-Understanding of the insurance claims process
-Understanding of loss prevention for the health club industry
-Understanding of contract administration
