and those who dwell in it. Lift up your heads, O gates,
and be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of
glory may come in! Who is this King of Glory? The Lord
of hosts, He is the King of Glory. Psalm 24:1,9,10

Adult Sunday School- Don Davidson will continue teaching a class on Moses in the library.
New Members Class- Pastor James will begin a new members class today.
Mother-Daughter-Friend Tea
Tickets on sale today! See Ann Thorson, Treva Mathre
or Sheila Mathre. The Tea will be on Saturday, May 9th at
2pm. Jen Johnson will give the message on "Teas Around
the World".
The menu is from Elegant Touch (Shorewood) and
consists of finger sandwiches, pinwheels, mandarin
orange salad and cheese and crackers. Also included
will be an assortment of desserts: mini chocolate
brownies, mini lemon bars, mini éclairs and tea cookies.
The ticket prices are $10 for adults and $7 for kids 12
and younger.
LERT (Lutheran Emergency Response Team) Training
Do you want to join the (LERT)? Cross Lutheran is
hosting an Open House with their LERT team for anyone
who wants to learn more about what LERT is and does on
Friday, April 24 from 6-8pm in their Fellowship Hall. Some
of the equipment will be on display that they use on
deployments and there will be pictures and snacks. This
is a great opportunity to ask questions and speak with
other LERT members. Please direct any questions about
the LERT open house to Linda Mathre.
