Rules and Regulations:
-The Miss JSB Pageant is open to current female students in grades 9-12 at John S. Battle High School.
-Contestants and parents agree that the time, manner and method of judging the competition shall be solely
within the discretion of the Miss JSB Pageant Directors. The decision of the judges will be final. Score sheets will
not be released.
- Applications and $30 entry fee should be turned in to Mrs. Fuller or Mrs. Wilber no later than Friday, March 6,
2015. No applications will be accepted after deadline. (Entry Fee includes t-shirt)
-Miss Photogenic is an additional $10. You must turn in picture by Thursday, March 19.
-Contestants are required to attend a mandatory rehearsal on March 20, 2015 at 3:15 p.m.

Casual Wear—Spring Fun
Our casual wear portion of the Miss JSB Pageant is designed to introduce the contestants to
the judges. This is an opportunity for the contestants to show personal style and personality to
the judges. Contestants will wear capris and can dress them up with a summer shirt, hat
sunglasses, etc. No strapless tops for the casual wear.
All contestants will be judged on the following categories:


Natural Beauty

Stage Presentation

Dress

Personality Projection
Top 10 will be judged on overall appearance only.
Top 5 will answer an interview question. The contestant will need to demonstrate

