本品は、宿主菌由来の DNA の混入を極力抑えた Taq DNA ポリメラーゼである「Gene Taq FP」に化学的な修
飾を施すことにより、特異性の向上に有効なホットスタート PCR を可能としました。
PCR サイクルに入る前に 95℃、5 分間の熱処理によって酵素の活性化処理を行ってください。

活性定義
1 unit は、activated calf thymus DNA をプライマー/鋳型として 74℃、30 分間に 10 nmol のデオ
キシヌクレオチドを酸不溶性沈殿物に取り込む酵素活性とする。
本酵素 10 units と 1 μg の λ/HindⅢを 74℃、1 時間反応させてもアガロースゲル電気泳動パタ
純度
ーンに変化は認められない。
ポリメラーゼ活性以外の活性
・ 5'→3'エキソヌクレアーゼ活性 を有していない。(Taq DNA ポリメラーゼの N 末端を一部欠失させてあるため)
・ 3'→5'エキソヌクレアーゼ活性 を有していない。
・ ターミナルトランスフェラーゼ活性 を有しており、得られた PCR 産物は TA クローニングに使用できる。
構成
本品には、10×Brilliant Buffer および 10×Gene Taq Universal Buffer の 2 種類の反応バッファーを添付して
いる。 10×Brilliant Buffer は Hot-Start Gene Taq に最適化させており、短鎖 DNA（特に 1.5 kb 以下）の増幅
において有効な反応バッファーである。
