RoveAmerica 2015 Events Overview
Rover motorcar collectors and enthusiasts from the U.S., Canada, UK and international guests are set to
convene at RoveAmerica 15, THE LARGEST GATHERING of classic British Rover Saloon cars in North
America. The 8th annual RoveAmerica 15 event will take place June 4th through June 7th, 2015 in Fitchburg,
MA with classic Rover motorcars dating from 1910 and up to the 1990's.
Thursday, 4th June 2015: RoveAmerica 15 starts at 5:30 PM with
our traditional Welcome reception & party at Vytek, 195 Industrial
Road, Fitchburg, hosted by Rover collectors Steve Manwell, Kurt
Steele. Dean Saluti and Dirk Burrowes, Food, drinks and
camaraderie are on the menu for Thursday evening. This is a great
chance to begin the weekend with old friends and a chance to meet
new ones. There will be a sneak peek at this year’s projects in the
RA garage.
Friday, 5th June 2015:
The gathering on Friday begins at 7:30 AM with breakfast at the 50/50
diner .Around 9:00 am we gather at RA headquarters for RA
registration and RA garage talks and general milling around looking at
what our friends have accomplished this year with their Rover
projects. A new twist on things Kurt is organizing our first ever RA
Rolling Rover Scavenger Hunt a/k/a Poker Run. As part of the Poker
Run, we will tour local villages and meet for lunch at an undisclosed
location. We return to RA headquarters around 4:00 and prepare for a
5:00 wine and cheese reception. On or about 6:00 we will enjoy a
buffet dinner and possibly listen to a presentation.
Saturday, 6th June 2015: RoveAmerica 15 continues at Vytek with an
8:30-9:00 AM line-up and review of collectors’ motorcars and photographs,
and Rover owner interviews. Between 10:00-10:30 AM Spouses and friends
are welcome to depart for an entertaining
excursion to be announced on Thursday June 4th.
Collectors and Spouses/friends meet up at
12:30/1:00 PM for a lunch at the Mill# 3 a favorite of RA events for lunch. For our
evening activities we will be having our dinner at a new venue local restaurant and
will be announced Thursday evening. The evening concludes with the annual
RoveAmerica awards ceremony.

Sunday, 7th June 2015: RoveAmerica 15 begins the day with an 8:30 am
Rover caravan departure from Vytek to Mason NH, to the Parker Maple
Barn for some great food and tour of southern New Hampshire.
Sunday will be a special day for Rover enthusiasts, friends and spouses and
should not be missed!

RoveAmerica 15 is open to all who appreciate classic Rover and British motorcars and is held rain or shine.
You do not need to own or bring a Rover car you just need to have enthusiasm and appreciate a bygone era.
Friday breakfast and Saturday lunch and dinner as well as Sunday’s breakfast at Parker Maple House are selfpay.
