Enclosed is your invitation to our Special
so" Anniversary
Reunion from good ole SHS.
PLEASE BE SURE TO RETURN BY SEPTEMBER 18TH•
Thank you SO VERY MUCH TO ALL WHO HAVE MADE GENEROUS CONTRlBUTIONS TO
OUR AILING TREASURY. My apologies for not getting individual thank you notes written but time is
our biggest enemy sometimes! These contributions have enabled us to help keep the reunion cost to a
minimum and also to produce our so" Anniversary Commemorative Edition of The Colonial.
If you have not already done so, it is IMPERATIVE that you return the addendum form (attached in
case you misplaced it) in order to be included in this yearbook. Ifwe do not receive any information, we
will just make a notation "no information received" under your name. It is very interesting to share
some of the major and minor accomplishments ofthe past 50 years with classmates. Be sure to include
any special memories that are sure to bring a lot of smiles to the readers! Even if you are unable to
attend and/or didn't actually graduate with the class, we'd like you to be included. You can email this
information to Sue (MacLeod) Barrett at [email protected] or to Phyllis at [email protected] or snail
mail it to one of us. Sue is typing up all the contents.
After much thought and research regarding a gift from our class to SHS in honor of our so" Reunion,
we decided to make a donation (hopefully $500) to the Drama Department of SHS. This gift will be
used toward purchasing music and equipment needed for performances. This department has helped
many young people to pursue a future in dramatic arts. You may purchase raffle tickets or make a
contribution to this endeavor that evening. Janet (McCarthy) Trippi and Dick and Ann (Woodward)
Curran are chairing this committee.
