The Dolphins will offer two options for the 2015 summer season. We will work hard to help you
achieve your goals in water polo and competitive swimming.
Option 1
Monday through Friday mornings from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. (long course swimming) and Monday
through Thursday afternoons from 4:00 to 4:45 p.m. (short course swimming) and 4:45 to 6:30
p.m. (water polo) from June 15, 2015 to July 30, 2015. The fee is $240.00 and includes
seasonal USA Swimming registration. Each athlete must be registered for 2015 with USA
Water Polo. If you are not currently registered, please go to www.usawaterpolo.org to register.
The USA Water Polo club number for Fresno Dolphins Water Polo is 1317. Please bring a
copy of your temporary or permanent membership card to your first practice session. We must
have a copy of your USA Water Polo membership card for our files before you can participate.
Swim meet or polo tournament entry fees are not included in the camp fee.
Option 2
Monday through Thursday afternoons from 4:00 to 4:45 p.m. (short course swimming) and
4:45 to 6:30 p.m. (water polo) from June 15, 2013 to July 30, 2013. The fee is $210.00 and
includes seasonal USA Swimming registration. Each athlete must be registered for 2015 with
USA Water Polo. If you are not currently registered, please go to www.usawaterpolo.org to
register. The USA Water Polo club number for Fresno Dolphins Water Polo is 1317. Please
bring a copy of your temporary or permanent membership card to your first practice session.
We must have a copy of your USA Water Polo membership card for our files before you can

All practices will be held at the Bullard High School Aquatics Complex. All practices will
be under the direction of the Fresno Dolphins coaching staff. Participants may compete
in both swimming and water polo competitions during the summer.

June 4, 2015
PRACTICE SCHEDULE
Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from
11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. June 15-July 22, 2015. Scrimmages or games will
be held on selected Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
This program offers young people the opportunity to learn one of the most exciting, fastmoving Olympic sports from the ground up. Water polo has been compared to soccer in the
water. The obvious difference is that you are moving through water and not air. That’s a
good thing in Fresno during the summer!
Movement through the water, defensive skills and positioning, ball handling, passing,
shooting, and offensive positioning will be the emphasis of this program.
Program Fee
$195.00 for the season (includes seasonal membership in USA Water Polo). If you
are a current member of USA Water Polo, Inc. and have proof of registration, your
fee will be $150.00. You may pay by VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover,
checks (payable to FDST) or cash for the full amount at early registration. Checks or cash
only if you register after June 4, 2015. Registration after June 4, 2015 is $205.00. We are
not able to issue refunds for this program.

Bullard Summer Session Swim League and
Splash Ball Program
For 6 to 12 year-olds
Sponsored by Bullard Aquatics and The Fresno Dolphins Swim Team
June 15- July 22, 2015
Spend some time at the Bullard High Pool this summer! It’s the
coolest place to be! Improve swimming skill and learn about water
polo through Splash Ball. Splash Ball is a non-contact version of
water polo designed to develop skills and have fun!
Program Includes:




Learning water polo skills through the fun sport of Splash Ball!
Learning the four competitive strokes, starts, turns, and techniques used by Olympic swimmers.
Participating in short, organized competitions.
Receiving instruction and gaining experience that will build self-confidence and help participants be
more physically fit.

Practice times will be Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2:30-4:00 p.m. 45 minutes of
swimming instruction and 45 minutes of Splash Ball.

Splash Ball games will be played Thursday afternoons on June 18th, July 2nd, and July 16th.
Novice level swimming competitions for will be Thursday afternoons on June 25th and July
9th, and Wednesday, July 22nd.
Where: Practices, games and meets will be held at the Bullard High School Aquatics Complex
located on the Bullard High Campus at 5445 N Palm Ave, Fresno, CA.
When: Early registration will take place on Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the
Bullard High Aquatics Complex. Practice will start on Monday, June 15, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. If you are
unable to come to early registration, you may register during the first week of the program.
Fee: Early registration fee is only $180.00 for the program. Registration after Thursday, June 4,
2015 is $195.00. Fee includes practices, competitions and a custom swim cap. You may pay by VISA,
MasterCard, American Express, Discover, checks (payable to FDST) or cash for the full amount at
early registration. Checks or cash only if you register after June 4, 2015. We are not able to issue
refunds for this program.
To be eligible, swimmers must be at least 6 years old, and be able to swim one length of the
pool unassisted. Age range for this program is 6 to 12 years-old. Participants will be placed in
groups according to their age and ability level.
