London based restaurateur Tom Aikens shot to culinary fame when he
became the youngest ever Michelin-starred chef at the age of 26. His
restaurant, Tom Aikens, has received numerous accolades, and has
been joined by Tom’s Kitchen, Tom’s Terrace and soon, Tom’s Deli.

Having trained at Drama Centre London, Luke’s film career has
included The Promise and television success in Wallander with Kenneth
Branagh. Luke’s latest project is as a Doctor in the new ITV drama,
Monroe, alongside James Nesbitt who plays a brilliant neurosurgeon.
The series portrays the difficulties of patients who receive the
devastating diagnosis of a brain tumour. It is for this reason that Luke
is running in the Virgin London Marathon 2011 for Brain Tumour UK,
the leading charity providing support, funding research and supporting
brain tumour patients.
Ronni Ancona is an actress/impressionist/ comedienne and writer. She
is also a trained designer and qualified teacher. Her comedy career
started on the comedy circuit and she won the Time Out Hackney
Empire New Act of the Year in 1993. She worked extensively in radio
and television before becoming a household name in the BAFTA
winning Big Impression for which she won a British Comedy Award and
Variety Club Award.

Jonathan Ansell is a charismatic singer with a sensational tenor voice.
He shot to fame with pop opera group G4 on the X Factor, with whom

Cheryl is an English television presenter and singer. She is most famous
for being a member of 1980s pop group Bucks Fizz, and has performed
for the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest twice, winning it the second
time.
Jamie enjoyed a career spanning 15 years at the top of world class
athletics. Since retiring in 2005, he has starred in several reality TV
shows, including Sky One’s Cirque de Celebrite, and has directed
several new business ventures. In his first year competing over 400m,
he was selected for the 1996 Olympic Games and won Silver as part of
the 4x400m quartet. He became World Indoor Champion in 1999 and
still holds the British Indoor record over 400m set in 1997. Jamie won
11 medals at Olympic Games, World and European Championships and
Commonwealth Games. He recently campaigned for his team’s World
Championship Gold medals from 1997 to be presented to the 4x400m
quarter including Iwan Thomas, Roger Black and Mark Richardson after
a 13 year wait. This followed the disqualification of the USA team after
Antonio Pettigrew admitted doping in 2007.

Son of the late British football legend, George Best, Calum started his
early career as an international model. During recent years, he has
become well-known for his television appearances. Calum has fronted
documentaries and has appeared in a number of television reality
shows. Calum has also launched his own fragrance. Last year, he took
part in a charity trek to Vietnam in aid of The Children’s Trust, a
national charity which provides specialist care for some of the UK’s
most severely disabled children, and rehabilitation services to children
with an acquired brain injury.
Charlene "Charlie" Brooks is an award-winning Welsh actress, best
known for playing Janine Butcher on the BBC soap opera EastEnders.
She won her first award in 2001 for Best Bitch at the 2001 Inside Soap
Awards, an award she also won at the 2004 Inside Soap Awards. At the
2004 British Soap Awards, Charlie won the award for Villain of the year
and was also nominated in the category of Soap Bitch of the year. At
the British Soap Awards 2005 she won the award for Best Exit. In June
2009 she signed a new 3 year contract, meaning she will be onscreen
until at least Autumn 2012.
Chris is famous for his role in Emmerdale as Eric Pollard which he has
played since 1986. He has also appeared in several TV series as well as
roles in several films including To Sir, With Love.

Chris Coghill is an actor and writer from Prestwick in Greater
Manchester and has appeared in many popular TV Drama series such
as Shameless, Burn It, Waterloo Road, Holby City and Secret Diary of a
Call Girl. Chris is married to actress Lisa Faulkner who he met on the set
of Burn It in 2005.In September 2008 Chris landed his most
controversial role yet when he joined the cast of EastEnders as Bianca’s
paedophile boyfriend Tony King. He left the series after three months
when his character was arrested and he also appeared in the series of
The Royal as ambulance driver Bobby Sheridan.
John is an actor who recently appeared in Me and My Girl. John has
previously appeared in the stage show, Dirty Dancing. He has also
appeared in several BBC period dramas as well as Hollyoaks and
Indiana Jones.
James Cracknell is a British Olympic rower who has won two gold
Olympic medals as well as numerous World Championship
appearances.
Danny crates recently retired from International competition the
former T46 arm amputee, 2004 Paralympic Champion, European
Champion, Paralympic World Cup winner and world record holder has
some amazing achievements. In the 1998 World Championships, Danny
made his international debut, by reaching the 400m final and winning a
silver medal in the 4 x 400m relay event in a new European record
time. Danny’s potential was also recognised in the Paralympic Games
Sydney 2000, where he was narrowly beaten, into the bronze medal
position in the 400m. Danny also captured the European 400m title in
2001.

Emma Crosby joined GMTV as a main presenter in January 2009. She copresents GMTV with Andrew Castle (Thursday, Fridays, and alternate
Wednesdays 7.00am - 8.35am). After studying at the University of
Leeds, Emma trained at the University of Cardiff's School of Journalism.
Emma started her career as a producer at BBC News 24. She became a
newsreader at London's Radio News Direct and LCBC. In September
1999 Emma joined The Money Channel as reporter and newsreader,
before moving to London Tonight and Meridian Tonight as a reporter.
In July 2001, Emma joined CNBC Europe and became a presenter on
European Market Wrap. She also reported for CNBC US' flagship

Is the lead singer in the band 'New Vinyl'. He is in a relationship with
Gail Porter who is also running this years Virgin London Marathon.

Rob Deering is a stand-up comedian who also plays guitar. He recently
completed The Rob Deering Experience tour, having done numerous
tours and half a dozen solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe since he
started out in comedy ten years ago. On TV in 2011 you'll see him on
Comedy Rocks and Celebrity Total Wipeout. In the past he has
appeared on any number of Radio and TV shows since starting out on
99 Things To Do Before You Die. In 2007 he won a special comedians'
edition of the Weakest Link, raising over £24,000 for Parkinson's UK. He
is the only person ever to have won the Weakest Link without getting a
question wrong. The Virgin London Marathon is Rob's first, though he
completed the Royal Parks Half Marathon in October.

The History Boys and most recently as Laertes in Hamlet at the Crucible
Theatre in Sheffield.

Mikyla Dodd has recently finished a year long tour of Calendar Girls
having first appeared with the show in the West End. She is probably
best known playing the part of Chloe Bruce in Hollyoaks and, more
recently, her well-documented weight loss of over 10 stone. She has
also written her personal memoirs entitled Playing the Fat Girl and
presented her own show on BBC3 called When diets go wrong
Stella English was the winner of The Apprentice in 2010. An inspiring
‘rags-to-riches’ story, Stella worked her way into a senior management
position at a Japanese Investment Bank despite leaving school with no
qualifications and growing up on London’s tough Thamesmead estate.
Upon hiring her at the end of The Apprentice, Lord Alan Sugar praised
her drive, saying: "at an early age you never had all these qualifications,
then went out of the way to train yourself and get yourself the job that
you've got – and that shows me a lot of determination,"
David's friends entered him for a modelling competition on ITV's This
Morning, at that moment his life changed. In 2006 he was spotted by
Dolce and Gabanna and became their muse. Best known as the face of
their "Light Blue" fragrance, his iconic shoot the same year saw him
transform to fashion royalty overnight with a 50ft billboard in Times
square, over 11 Million internet hits to view his campaign and global
recognition.
Craig Gazie attended Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and
graduated in 2005. He is currently appearing in Coronation Street as
character Graeme Proctor former cellmate and friend of David Platt.

Monty was the winner of Channel 4’s Superhuman, and has since
presented many TV programmes. He is an accomplished diver, and
many of his programmes are about the marine world. His latest TV
show, Beachcomber Cottage, is due to be aired on BBC2 in March, and
follows Monty’s adventures on the remote Scottish coast for six
months. The book that accompanies the series will be serialized in the

An apprentice at Chelsea Football Club in his youth, Glenn Hoddle
allowed Muzzy Izzet to join Leicester in 1996. The move proved to be
the making of Muzzy, with regular first-team football providing the
platform for him to realise his potential. Muzzy was part of the Turkish
national team in 2000. The Leicester City man was eligible to play as his
father was born in Turkey. He was also part of the impressive 2002
World Cup side, when Turkey reached the semi-finals, before losing to
eventual winners Brazil. Muzzy left Leicester in 2004 on a free transfer
to Birmingham City. Sadly, after two frustrating seasons spent battling
injury, Muzzy announced his retirement from the professional game in
2006.
Derek Jelley was Born in Nuneaton and educated at Heathfield High
School, Earl Shilton, previous to joining Leicester Tigers in 1993 Derek
played for Market Bosworth rugby club.

Emma Pierson is an actress. She has appeared in over 35 productions
on both the big and the small screen including Rankin's feature film The
Lives of the Saints. She is perhaps best known for her comedic
performance as Anna Thornton-Wilton in Hotel Babylon and was
recently seen in the multi Emmy winning Little Dorrit and the BBC's
adaptation of Martin Amis' Money. Her latest project Nancy, Sid and

In 1992, at the age of only 21, Matthew had his first taste of Olympic
success, when in a Coxless Pair with Sir Steve Redgrave; he won Gold at
the Barcelona Olympics. Prior to that Olympic win he and Redgrave had
enjoyed an unbeaten international season, and it was already obvious
that Matthew was developing to become one of the world's greatest
oarsmen. At the Atlanta Olympics in 1996 the Pinsent/Redgrave duo
won another Gold medal and throughout the nineties their outstanding
combination also brought them Seven World Championship Gold’s.

Michel Roux Jr took over the helm at the world famous Michelin
starred Le Gavroche in 1991. Since then, he has won numerous awards
for his cuisine and has continued to set the standard for classical
French fine dining in London. Prior to Le Gavroche, Michel honed his
skills working for master chefs in Paris, Lyon, Hong Kong and London,
spending two years with Alain Chapel and cooking at the Elysée Palace

his father Albert. Michel is a judge and presenter on the BBC’s popular
prime time show MasterChef: The Professionals. He recently hosted a
new BBC show ‘Michel Roux’s Service’, in which he trained 8 young
people in the art of front-of-house. Michel is a keen runner, and this
year's London marathon will be his 19th marathon in 15 years. Michel
will be running in support of the children’s charity VICTA, for which he
is a patron, and also the Dispossessed Fund.

Chris played DC Mickey Webb in ITV’s The Bill, he has also starred in
Casualty, Touching Evil and entered Celebrity Fear Factor and donated
his winnings to the Rhys Daniels Trust. Chris ran in the 2008 London
Marathon in support of the Rhys Daniels Trust and finished in an
amazing time of 4hr 15 minutes.
Tuuli Shipster began her modelling career at the age of 16 when she
was spotted by a casting agent whilst out shopping with friends. She
went on to join top modelling agency Storm and her career took off.
Born in Finland Tuuli is no stranger to the international lifestyle, she
has lived in Moscow, India, Zambia, South Africa and England. Currently
she is settled in London with her photographer husband Rankin. Tuuli
has run the marathon before and it was her who pulled together the
Oxglam team from her contacts in the fashion industry, she will be
running as part of the team in this year’s London Marathon.
Kellie is a critically acclaimed actress. Her recent film work includes
forthcoming feature film ‘Girl on a Bicycle’ directed by Jeremy Leven.
She also plays the female lead ‘Polly’ in British film ‘Frank’ which is due
for release this year. Other film work includes; ‘Venus’ Doctor Jekyll &
Mr Hyde and blockbuster hit ‘Wimbledon’ in which she played
opposite James McAvoy. Kellie also features in other independent films
such as ‘The Baseline’, ‘Heidi’ and horror flick ‘The Sick House’.Kellie is
best known for her role as 'Carly Wicks' in the BBC's 'Eastenders'.

Tom Smith is the lead singer, lyricist, keyboardist and rhythm guitarist
for the band Editors. Born in Stroud, Gloucestershire Tom now lives in
London with his partner Edith Bowman and their son Rudy Brae
Bowman Smith. Russell Leetch also running is the bass guitarist for the
band and currently is living in New York. At present Editors are working
on their fourth album to be released in 2011.
Irwin is the lead vocalist in the pop rock band The Hoosiers and also
plays lead guitar in the band. The band have so far released 2 albums
and 5 singles, which have gained them moderate success in the music

Gary is a Welsh former footballer and current manager of the Wales
national football team. He was previously captain of the Wales national
football team until he retired from international football in 2004 and
he remains the most capped outfield player for Wales.
Ben is a former tenor of the group G4. Ben started singing lessons at 14
and sang in his local church choir. He played the clarinet in an
orchestra while at Hills Road Sixth Form College, Cambridge. He studied
on a one year undergraduate course at Royal Northern College of
Music and three years at Guildhall School of Music and Drama where
he graduated from in 2004. Since the split of G4 Ben is returning to
Royal College of Music, London for post graduate training.

Noel made International debut age 17 winning a silver
medal in the European championships 400m. Since
then, Spent next 21 years running around in circles all
over the world, taking part in 6 Paralympic Games,
winning a total of Five Gold medals including a
“double” of 5000m/10,000m in Atlanta in 1996 after
which i was awarded an MBE by the Queen in the
1997 new Years honours. In total, won 42
International Gold medals over 6 distances. Set
around 10 World Records and was honoured to be
selected, by my team mates, to carry the Union flag in
the Opening Ceremony in Athens 2004. He joined the
Vision team in 2010 as an ambassador for the Sports
Legacy Trust.
Iwan Thomas MBE; A former European Champion, Commonwealth
Champion, World Cup Winner and current British Record Holder.
Iwan was part of the Great Britain 4 x 400m team at the 1997 World
Athletics Championship in Athens and went on to win Silver. However,
in January 2010 it was announced that Great Britain's 1997 World
Championship 4x400m relay team are to be awarded the gold medal
they were denied by the disqualified USA team. New medals are to be
minted for the ceremony, as not all of the American quartet have
returned the originals.
He is the current UK record holder at 400m with a time of 44:36
seconds and he is the current holder of the Commonwealth Games
record in the 400m which he won in Kuala Lumpur in 1998.

Jack Tweed, is the widower of the late Jade Goody who he appeared
with in the 2007 series of Celebrity Big Brother , and married on 22
February 2009 when Jade was terminally ill with cervical cancer.
Together with his brother Luke and friend Mark Wright (star of The
Only Way Is Essex), Jack is running his first Virgin London Marathon in
memory of Jade and to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

An athlete during her youth, Charlie completed a degree in English
Language and Linguistics before starting a career in television - first
with MTV before her sporting background led her to Spain as a
presenter for Real Madrid International Television. After a year in
Madrid, Charlie joined ESPN Asia presenting their coverage of the
English Premier League to an audience of 300 million. Charlie returned

Club promoter Mark Wright, is one of the stars on ITV2’s living soap
The Only Way Is Essex Mark is running his first Virgin London Marathon
with his best mate Jack Tweed in memory of Jade Goody and to raise
money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Dwight played for six clubs since his arrival at Aston Villa from his
Trinidad & Tobago homeland in 1989 including Manchester United,
Blackburn, Birmingham, Sydney FC, and Sunderland. With 480 Premier
League and Football League appearances combined and 147 goals, he
quickly became one of Premier League’s most prolific goal scorers. He
is still the Premier League’s 8th record highest goal scorer with 127. 20
years in English football Dwight decided to retire from the game, &
accepted the position of Assistant Manager of the Trinidad & Tobago
national team for their remaining four World Cup 2010 Qualifying
games.
Will Young has sold 9 million records worldwide. He has been rewarded
with countless Brit and Ivor Novello nominations and awards. His
eclectic career began in 2002 when he won ‘Pop Idol’. His first solo
