himself. The king described “an oracle, more
gifted than that of Delphi.” The text reads:

Minor, and the Far East travel to hear her
unrivalled intelligence and wisdom. Kings
and peasants seek her counsel, for the
breaths of hope and strength she whispers
choose no one borne from the earth. She, a
gift of Apollo and the Zephyr winds, bears
the scars of pain, of weariness inflicted by
the one with two pincers¾yet she stands
stronger than any of Hephaestus’ creations.
Her love for those who bore her, those
whom she befriended, those who sang with

same time helping a friend using innate

Four years have passed since that little girl
left those gold-decked halls and entered
the nest of ol’ Blue and White. At the
cusp of a new chapter, it is amazing to
see how much she’s grown and matured,
and yet remained the same, familiar
Dani (or Dank to her buddies). She’s still
a major exaggerator and gossip queen;
a fashionably tacky, accessory-hoarding,
shoe-loving, couture addict; a well-read,
opinionated, intelligent and caring woman.
And lest you think she’ll ever get boring,
don’t be surprised to unearth new facets
that abound her character. She’ll never
have trouble forging fresh connections
because of her disarming combination of
wit, charm and a bubbly personality.

moving so fast I’m forgetting my purpose,
blur of the traffic is sending me spinning,
getting nowhere. My head and my heart

just wish I could stop it, try to appear like

Bored out of your wits? Animated stories (yes,
with reenactments!), loud unguarded laughter,
and a lot of jumping around- that’s the typical
scene when you’re with Yel. Trust her to come
up with a funny story or a remark so random
that you will just laugh your tonsils out. You
could talk to her openly about anything, in the
same candor that she talks about hers.
These lines came from Emmy Rossum’s
song, “Slow Me Down.” The first time I
listened to the lyrics, I was astonished at
how it expressed my own thoughts about
life as a student. College life passes by so
quickly and there had been so many times
when I had no clue what I was doing and
why I was doing it. Soon enough (too soon,
actually) my school life is over. I look back
into a blur of memories that is my college
life and see that despite the hardships, I
have met wonderful people, learned so
much, and had fun.
As opposed to: in the same manner that she
talks about anything in her life with such
candor.
Leonidas ends with: “My spear bows down to
your wisdom and strength, for Nicole, victory
is your name.”

Most of all, she is full of love and affection,
which she’ll share with anyone who will
join in on her story.
She seems cheerful and bursting with energy
all the time but she has her share of emo
moments too. During these times, problems,
fears, and insecurities trouble her mind. And
so, as her Multiply Welcome Message says:
“Hate me or love me, just remember me.
There’s nothing about me which makes me
stand out in a sea of faces, yet I hope that I’ve
touched people’s hearts one way or another.”

To have known Cris during her college
years, you should have witnessed her
doing at least one of her favorite things:
writing, taking pictures, swimming,
laughing with friends, or sleeping. An
Aquarian to her core, Cris’ interests involve
anything that has to do with being in the
water, on its surface, and even being under
it. Adventure-seeking is second nature to
her, which is evident in her penchant for
trying out new sports or going on wild
travel adventures. Cris prides herself in
being a supportive friend and a part of the
varsity swim team, of which her college life
would not have been the same without.
She counts climbing a mountain, solving
the Rubik’s cube, competing in the UAAP,
and finding the most amazing friends
as some of her greatest achievements in
college.

Calvs is one of the most loyal and
supportive people you’ll ever meet. He’s
a mighty yet meek boy able to withstand
despair with his passion and persistence.
There is never a dull moment when you’re
with this person. His personality is very
outgoing and happy-go-lucky, with stories
and jokes that can go on for hours and
make you laugh all day. Calvs is the person
who listens to his friends’ problems and
tries to console them by making them
happy through whatever means. Calvs,
in his four years in the Ateneo, learned
a lot about himself: he learned how to
look at a glass half-full, how to take on
responsibility, how to be passionate about
serving, how to embrace failure and share
success with others, and how not to worry
about things too much and live life to its
fullest. Not bad for an ordinary guy who is
now living an extraordinary life.

One thing you should never do is to get on
EZ’s nerves. This man could trample you
like train. Yet beyond his tough and rugged
exterior is the gentle and loving person
that EZ is to everyone – giving justice to
his moniker “deadly creampuff.” He has a
laugh that is highly contagious and a smile
of a movie star/senator. He knows how
to have fun while keeping his inner child
alive and running. His appeal makes all the
girls want to hug him but believe it or not,
EZ is very athletic too. He is a mountain
biker and his excellent shooting skills have
brought glory to the Ateneo. But above
everything else, EZ knows how to balance
his time – between academics, athletics,
and friends – exemplary of a true blue
Atenean. EZ is a son, a brother, and a friend
who cannot be traded for anything, even
for the world. And these 15 lines will never
suffice for the real EZ.
In an alternate fictional universe, where
there are no limits in space and time, Kloe
would be whizzing through 23 places at
one time, gathering bouquets of cloud
puffs while drinking up the sun, playing
with every cuddly creature anyone can ever
think of, replacing mountains with cookie
dough and oceans with milkshakes, doing
aerial gymnastics 56 ft off the ground, and
hugging every cute grandpa that ever
existed. In the real world, a day with Kloe
is not so far from this fiction. She will jump
not just once, run and race you to it, bounce
and not stop even if you insist, laugh at the
oddest moments, recite random movie
lines from memory, pop up from nowhere,
flash her smile and invite you to play until
eternity. She will exhaust you with every
verb known in the English language. But in
her vivacity, people find peace; people learn
life. Exuberance is beauty.
Once upon a time, there was a quiet and
unassuming girl that entered college,
not really expecting much of anything.
She was, after all, just another face in the
crowd, just another person who preferred
working behind the scenes to being in the
spotlight.
- Justine smiles ALL the time. Two main adjectives come to mind when
you think of her. First, balanced. She is
balanced not only because she dances so
gracefully and beautifully, but it’s also due
to her ability to balance her time and her
life well. She has time for everything she
wants to do despite the hectic schedule of
school, orgs, and dancing. Secondly, she
is outgoing in the sense that she goes out
of herself to spend time with the people
that mean a lot to her. She is self-less
beyond doubt and clearly possesses a
genuinely generous heart. Her high spirits
and amiable nature, together with her
warm personality, welcome anyone and
everyone who come her way. Justine is the
kind of person who is not afraid to show
the world who she really is –never scared
of what other people might think of her
while always keeping her character intact.
Cara comes in every color of the rainbow.
She’s the person everyone looks at when
the professor announces the highest scores.
She’s the Dean’s Lister and org leader who
never sacrifices her sleep or her social
life. She’s the white lady walking around
campus looking like she just came out
of the shower, because her body “wasn’t
built for this climate.” She can be incredibly
focused, churning out papers in a matter of
minutes, or completely random, amusing
her friends with her quirks. Her mood
swings can be scary – she goes from quiet
to noisy, from sweet to fierce, from fluffy
to serious, all in the blink of an eye. Cara is
a mix of everything - expressive, candid,
hilarious, messy, stubborn, vain, intelligent,
loving, fickle, mean, loyal, beautiful – all in
the best senses of the words. But one thing
she’s not is forgettable – Cara’s lovable
unpredictability makes an impression sure to
last a lifetime.

Mood swings. Kiddie flings.

Four years is a long time though, and
the girl changed, grew up bit by bit. She
became more comfortable in her own skin,
more confident in her abilities. With her
long lost twin and bevy of old and new
friends by her side, she even managed to
survive all of the pitfalls college threw her
way somehow, coming out a little singed
around the edges but mostly intact.
She hasn’t quite found her happy ending
just yet, but that’s all right. Happy endings
are overrated anyway.

What’s in a name? If names must fully
epitomize a person’s being, then Mary
Immanuel Therese is a complete violation to
the rule. She may have immaculately white
skin, but that’s as close as she can get to her
serene and saintly name.
Her spunk and attitude definitely makes
her an attention-grabber, especially on
the dance floor. That’s what makes her the
uncontestable choice to be captain of the
Ateneo Blue Babble Battalion cheerdancers.
She may seem intimidating, though she
doesn’t mean to be; but then again, it’s
not hard to be scared of her muscles and
physical strength. Make no mistake in
challenging her to push ups: she’ll probably
beat any man in her sleep—one-handed at
that. She’s truly one strong woman, inside
and out. Her outlook in life is admirable, for
she may not be saintly, but she’s certainly
grounded on good values and principles.
Ana seems to portray the Daddy’s princess
persona. What we don’t know is that she
morphs into an aggressive taxi driver with
a dirty mouth once she drives out the gates
of the Ateneo. Beneath her seemingly pink
and sophisticated character is a woman
who possesses more colors than an overly
decorated mosaic. From dancing like the
Pussycat Dolls, to singing like Larusso
or Jessa Zaragoza, name it and she will
definitely do it all! She is the type who would
indulge her need to fulfill a particular bodily
function even when you’re in the middle of a
conversation. Ana is true to herself that way,
she neer hesitates to speak her mind about
the most random thoughts. Although, as
her best friend, I usually have trouble trying
to figure out what goes on in her head. One
thing remains clear and distinct, though: her
friendship will always remain unmatched by
another.
Manol is not what you expected.
He’s reading between the lines.
Manol can be obnoxious yet endearing.
He’s the charmer in the bully.
Manol is constancy and reliability.
He’s the friend you didn’t think you’d have.
Manol puts things into perspective.
He’s the guy to get things done.
Manol is the alpha-male.
He embodies what you’d want and not
want to be.
Manol is Brad-Pitt-esque.
Or so he would like to believe himself to
be.
Manol is like beer.
He’s your companion through the good
times and bad.
Anyone who does not know Missy but have
come across her would first do a double
take, and then think that she’s masungit or
snobby. On the surface she is the responsible
type, possibly obsessive-compulsive, but
practical and magis without trying as hard
as the rest of us. But behind all these, one
would be fortunate to know that Missy is one
of the most humble and generous people
you’ll ever get to meet. In her, you will find
strong faith, depth and substance that is
hard to find. All the shallow frills don’t really
matter because with Missy, it’s the important
things in life that deserve to be given
notice. She can get very nostalgic about
things of the past, but she can also be very
determined about her future. God, family,
friendship – 3 things of utmost importance
for her. Anyone who has yet to come across
and get to know Missy should make sure
that it lasts more than a double take.
Gex, the bitter one. With her pessimism and
infamous “Love doesn’t exist” remarks, that’s
probably how most would describe her.
Underneath that “tough” exterior lies one of
the sweetest and most generous of people.
She’s the type who would sacrifice her own
desires (although with a bit of resentment)
to make way for yours. She also has a
contagious laugh – bigay na bigay, kahit
mababaw lang. An ultimate crammer, speed
reader and night worker. It takes her forever
to finish something ‘cause she’s attached
to her laptop 24/7, not working. Ever since,
Gex has had her own private carpool with
her barkada and so, they’re late for their
morning classes 60% of the time. She’s also
perpetually with Missy a.k.a. her life partner.
So, what’s Gex’s dream in life? Simple. To be
a wife who goes to lunch, goes shopping,
goes to the parlor, and brings her kids to
school. Perfect! J

College is a time for bulging brains and
beating hearts. A stranger once tried
having lunch with us because he wanted
to meet Erika. She launches a thousand
ships everyday, while scratching her nose
or signing up for orals.
A friend once said, “never has there been
someone that lives to the fullest, and if
it weren’t for an overprotective mother
and aunt, [Cybele] would have jumped
headfirst, clothes and all, into the waters
of the Great Barrier Reef.” (Kuya Vino) That
really is Cybele. You never know what to
expect from her. A lover of psychology
and of anything “cutesy”, and finds sheer
delight in simply playing Guitar Freaks at
the arcade after a long week, one may say
that she’s really not that difficult to please.
A driven student with a passion for the
work that she does (whether its working
with sexually-abused girls or helping out
with RegCom), Cybele is truly someone
who wholeheartedly immerses herself in
her endeavors. Apart from this, she is both
loyal and caring to her friends and family.
A ray of sunshine that enters a room- that’s
Cybele!
A good friend would want to make you
smile. To make you laugh, to have a good
time. Tahnee is not this. INSTEAD, Tahnee
is a TRUE friend. A true friend is also like
this, BUT ALSO, is someone who will let
you know the truth though it hurts, will
listen to you even if you’re having your
“low” days, and best of all, will stick it out
with you through both the good and the
bad (ESPECIALLY the bad). College life has
changed because the Tahnee has entered
the picture. Being “THE” Tahnee is special.
Being “THE” Tahnee makes one the only
one to be able to juggle 23 units including
orgs and non-academic stuff, but also
spending time with the people close to
her heart. I’m hella lucky to have spent like
¾ (?) of my college life with this crazy girl.
She makes it not only crazier, funnier, and
sweeter, but of course… UNFORGETTABLE.
“What you see is what you get.” Aika is
someone who is not afraid to be herself.
She acts and speaks her mind. When
she’s ecstatic, expect her to be extremely
makulit and all smiles. When she’s upset,
you’ll see those eyebrows of hers almost
cross each other like her arms that go
along with them. Pretense doesn’t have
a place in Aika’s world which is why her
friends admire her. Aika is a study of
contrasts. She’s tough, strong-willed,
driven – she’s also a real softie who has
friends from ALL levels. On certain days
she is todo porma [short skirts and tops].
On other days she is a nerd and a party girl.
Really, with a personality like Aix’s, saan ka
pa?
Deb is everyone’s favorite girl and one
cannot help but be intrigued with her
adorable ways. Her friends love to hang
out with her for she is genuine, smart,
fun loving, honest, sweet, carefree and
warm. She has a great sense of humor
and a wild imagination. There aren’t any
boring moments when Deb is around! She
is one of the most down to earth people
you’ll ever meet. Always on the go and
up for anything, Deb is someone you can
always count on and she is wise beyond
her years. Aside from that, Debbie is a
passionate, determined, hardworking and
growth-oriented person who excels in
whatever she does whether in the field of
psychology or management. A beautiful
soul, a tenacious businesswoman, a true
friend, and a great partner in life, Deb is
definitely a priceless treasure that is hard
to find.
These are merely snippets to describe who
Charmie Iñigo is. To her classmates, she’s a
no-nonsense, straight-A student who spends
more time in the library than anyone else
does. To her org mates, she’s a disciple of
theater, a professional actress ever since
high school. To her colleagues in theatre,
she is the girl who always has a good thing
to say to anybody and would never let
anything derail her from the task at hand—
remarkably resilient and perhaps even
friendly to a fault. Truth is, Charmie is full of
surprises. She has a smile that can launch a
thousand ships but probably has a sinister
dark side underneath that happy-go-lucky
exterior. If we were to summarize all those
into three compelling characteristics, they
would be: her unconquerable happiness, her
winning attitude, and her commitment to
excel. All these make Charmie truly worthy of
her namesake.
There are things she will never forget
about her time at university, like lengthy
walks between buildings as afternoon
temperatures reach their peak. Beyond
that, she will always treasure the sweaty
friends who took those walks with her.
A confused young lad once said, “Erika,
I see you in every girl.” Like a warm, old
blanket on a chilly night, she never fails to
console a whimpering soul. Like a house
of mirrors, she never hesitates to give
weird looks that make you aware of how
odd you are.

What’s in a name? A name can say it all. The
name Amanda, for example, has the most
heart warming meaning anyone will ever
hear – she who must be loved. But Jiza?
Countless searches on the Internet would
permit little merit in giving one proper
meaning. It is then that one realizes how
fitting it is that this person be named, not
because she is meaningless, but because
one would be hard pressed to find a name
that can “say it all.” Jiza, in her small and
sweet way, seems to be one you’d love to
care for, although she’ll always end up taking
better care of you. She’s the person you’d
choose to work with, the one you’d love
to laugh with (or laugh at), the one whose
presence seems to make everything all right.
Cheesiness aside, she’s that song you longed
to hear to complete your day. Suddenly,
the answer seems all too obvious, no other
name – Jiza – says it all.

Patrick is the cat’s whiskers and the bee’s
knees. In freshman year he was a quiet
ghost in English class, staring attentively
with two large eyes. In sophomore year
he promised the Cone of Silence to his
grateful friends, who confided in him their
deepest truths and darkest dreams. In
junior year he wolfed down ten thousand
slices of pizza in a land called Caf Up, and
was the dearest companion of a fat little
lamb.

Wix is a woman who wears her heart on
her sleeve. She might come out strong at
first with her black shirt and jeans, but her
gentle eyes, though often covered with
dark eyeliners, would most often reflect her
feelings. She’s quite intimidating with that
rocker look but is filled with sweetness inside
— much like her candy-filled bag that all of
her friends appreciate very much. Moreover,
when caught in a discourse with Wix, it’s
almost certain that she’ll either talk about
the deepest and most untalked about topic
concerning life and sometimes the lack of it;
or she may just talk about simple but weird
nothings (if not, she may just not talk). It’s
easy to be her friend. You just have to be
careful about what you say, most especially
about her looks, for she is sensitive.
Unpredictable is her mood. Unaccredited
are her efforts to help. Unequalled, her
uniqueness. Undeniably Wix.
Witty, sarcastic, frank, but most of all
amazingly sweet –Bianca brings forth a
perfect mix of enjoyment and seriousness
in life. She is able to talk about anything,
from everyday tidbits to conversations about
faith while stimulating the discussion with
her clever side comments. She goes from
rapping and singing along to hip hop songs
to crying in almost all movies and even
cartoons. Bianca can get along with various
types of people and for many of them, she
is their go-to-girl. She is both a listener
and a giver to all of her friends and to top
it off she makes it seem effortless. Bianca
has paramount passion for her dreams and
beliefs. She takes initiative and is always
up for a challenge. God ordered her with a
set of the essentials – humor, personality,
and intelligence – but did not order in bulk.

A jack-of-various-trades and master of some,
Raymond Anthony L. Lucero (or simply
Ray) truly believes in the value of versatility
and strategy. From martial arts to mixing
drinks and from visual arts to investing,
he wants to learn and do everything there
is under the sun and use them all to fully
enjoy life. Due to his various interests and
his unique/peculiar character, he is seen
in different ways by different people.
Some say that Ray is a man of strong will,
optimism, determination, and virtue. Being
a calm, patient, and composed person, he

A first look at Jot, one will definitely notice
his towering presence. Even the head coach
of Ateneo’s Track and Field team couldn’t
miss him as he recruited Jot fresh out of high
school, believing that Jot’s long, lean legs
displayed immense potential to develop
him into an excellent runner. But despite this
domineering impression, Jot never makes
anybody feel small. One need not hesitate
when approaching Jot for encouragement
and support. With his witty character and
positive attitude, he can raise anyone’s spirit
in an instant. These traits, paired with his
love for kids, a will undoubtedly help turn
Jot’s lifelong dream of putting up his own
Daddy Day Care into a reality. In the end,
what is most admirable about Jot is his love
for God. No one can deny that he puts God
first above everything else. Jot’s ultimate
desire is to simply dedicate his life for God’s

At first glance, Rachelle appears to be a
very demure girl. When with her friends,
she’s usually the one doing the listening.
However, it is a different story when
it comes to basketball games. There
are three things that Rachelle is most
passionate about: traveling, food, and
UAAP basketball. Rachelle is naturally an
introvert but turns into a loud, shriekingat-the-top-of-her-lungs jumping thing
during basketball games. One can see the
fire burning in her eyes as she watches her
favorite basketball team. She tries to watch
each and every game of the team, be it
live, at home, or in school. She never fails
to cry during the Blue Eagles’ last game
of the season. Rachelle’s most favorite

she is not fat, nor little, nor a lamb. She
is a porcelain doll with a wide smile, a
Cheshire Cat named Patrick, and an orange
knapsack. You might find her in school
where she is loved by many, especially by
the guard outside the art gallery. She is
the bright-eyed one, filling the room with
her excited peals of laughter. Having her
own brand of humor, she loves the little
lad dance and is a bit of a music snob,
rolling her eyes at mainstream. She is
drawn to Old World things and has always
been fascinated instead of horrified by the
macabre and other things esoteric. She
gushes over the one she fancies but is quite
the heartbreaker herself. She is many kinds
of fun, punctuated with happy shrieks and
giggles while meticulously poring over her
open book of abnormal psychology. Such is
the anti-thesis that is Frannie.
She is a mere mortal. She is absolutely not
a goddess (although she looks like one) nor
a supernatural being, but Camilla Nacpil
has an unshakable monument built in the
hearts of the people she has encountered.
What make her distinct among mere
mortals are her capacity and willingness to
embrace the negative and the unknown
with such toughness. Bound to the realms
of a rigorous college life, Cams has defied it
all. Stupefyingly, she continues to achieve
academic excellence and to display her
football prowess on the Ateneo fields
despite her various activities. Apparently,
Cams is a silent killer. Once she cracks a
joke or simply gives a funny side comment,
everyone would surely get a sudden heart
attack. She may seem somber to a stranger
but once unveiled, you’ll find someone of
smart and witty character with an undying
thirst for adventure and fun.

Known as Shaan to many, her unique
name aptly reflects the distinctive aura she
carries with her. She is easy to get-along
with, up-beat, and advocates peace. She
gets stirred up by the Christmas season
but her favorite day is her birthday. She is
as hurriedly composed and as garbled as
this write-up. ^.^

Dorothy Joy – the “mistress of queries.” Her
name suits her well. DJ’s college journey
was a seemingly endless whirl of terror
professors, secret crushes, etc. She is like a
river – at times smooth-flowing, showing
her easygoing adaptability; other times like
raging rapids quickly running through all
the obstacles in her life. While trudging the
Yellow Brick Road, she has made friends with
scarecrows, tin men and lions, and overcame
her own wicked witches and wizards. She is
full of paradoxes so don’t let that seemingly
stoic façade fool you for she can very well
be pulsating with stories, questions, and
take-your-pick funny/corny jokes; one also
realizes that she in fact profoundly cares and
remembers. This woman has the versatility
of a chameleon and has truly a lot of
surprises up her sleeve – she oozes with fun
naughtiness. Who knows where her magic
shoes will take her next?
Buto’t balat, naglalakad. This pseudo-riddle
best illustrates him, but it is difficult to
condense 4 years into 15 lines. Nevertheless,
it is a human response to try to do so.
His is a classic example of your run-of-themill college experience minus the drugs and
sex. He was the valedictorian who became
an average student when he passed through
the gates of the Ateneo. By sophomore year
he got depressed, but this was also the year
where his QPI peaked somewhere around 3.
By junior year he learned to love and found
a girl who loved him back. By senior year
he became active in his org, Ateneo Psyche,
and he was able to cultivate his fondness
for the arts through his art elective. There
were ups, there were downs, and there were
near-death-experiences in his friends car. In
the end…
He wouldn’t trade his experience for
anything in the world.
She loves her name and no one can blame
her. After all, how can you not love the
epitome of success and ambition packaged
in a woman? She is characterized by her
strength, independence, womanhood,
fierce loyalty, unnerving conviction and her
commanding presence in and out of the
Ateneo. She will change the things she can,
runaway from those that aren’t worth the
trouble, and conquer everything else that
lies in the path to her dreams.
It used to be that she was just called great.
Now we know great is an understatement.
So know her as she wants to be known – as
Sam. Because everything else just falls short.

Dreaming of becoming a stewardess,
Shaan mentally trains herself to be taller
(to meet the height requirement! =P).
Although she has no sport, no org, and
does not play any instrument, she is
snowed under by the company of her
sporty, org-oriented and instrumentplaying-all-around friends. She awards
herself with plenty of television and
nap hours and crams her way to meet
deadlines. Nevertheless, she has learned a
lot and is ready to learn more.

Maligalig at di paaawat… Always on
the go and giddy, Mon is the Energizer
bunny in the flesh—the Bibo Kid as some
might say. His eccentric antics are nothing
unusual and his infectious laugh with the
classic Stitch voice proves it. Coupled
with an aura of cheerfulness, humility, and
genuineness, he might just remind you of
your sometimes annoying yet lovable little
bro. Beyond the goofball image however,
this kid at heart is actually a dreamer who
makes things happen. As Kythe-Ateneo’s
president (Who would’ve thought??),
Mon continually strives to inspire people
and create a positive impact on children’s
lives. If he could just make kids happy for
the rest of his life, he would surely leave
this world satisfied and fulfilled. That
way, he can just be like Peter Pan, one of
his favorite cartoon characters—forever
young and full of zest.
Living life to its fullest! This is the
prime and ultimo motto that I live
under. Whether I am faced with the
regular everyday challenges besetting
a student, or tackling outrageous and
quirky adventures, I take it upon myself
to squeeze out every last bit of the
experience. Block rep duties, DOTA, PEERS,
Pathways, TOJT, P-Volt, ESS, Psyche, and
the love of my life, all of these aspects
allow you to see the best and worst of me.
In all of them, I am proud to be the Billy in
each of the experiences I went through.
Definitely no regrets. Just happiness and
ultimo bliss!
Anyone fortunate enough to know Helen
can attest that she is unique. Bookworm,
movie buff, TV addict, loyal sports fan,
simple yet stylish, generous and patient –
mere words fail to encapsulate her inimitable
character. Unbeknownst to many, Helen is a
creative and successful artist – her designs
gracing the covers of notebooks found in
local stores. As a diligent student, she aces
tests and papers with ease and humility.
She is a dutiful and respectful daughter
and the glue that binds her four distinctly
different older brothers together. Being
friends with Helen is a special gift in itself.
Time and again, she has proven herself to be
a good listener, a witty comrade, and most
especially, a true friend. She always has your
back. She is a rare and priceless jewel that
radiates light, joy, and beauty. Whatever the
future may bring for her, one thing is certain:

Danix has always shown great leadership
and initiative that without her, her friends

awesomeness! In school, J.C. has always been
the practical joker. His infectious laughter
never fails to brighten up the gloomiest
of days. He uses his wit and inexhaustible
humor to charm all of his friends, especially
*ehem* the ladies. In sports, J.C. is simply
astounding! Unbeknownst to most, this
bemedaled rifle shooter is one versatile
individual. Put him in any sport and he will
excel at it. Mountain Biking, Taekwondo,
Arnis, Shooting… You name it, he’s done it!
He is the epitome of the modern day Indiana
Jones with exploits that have brought him
to the jungles of Zambales and even to
the shores of Mexico. There is never a dull
moment indeed in the life of this Jose Carlos.
To tell you the truth, 15 lines just won’t hack
it for this loyal friend, thoughtful brother,
loving son and his laurels.
Migo is a wacky, zany creature who
suddenly shifts from a normal, conyotic
student to the host of a European talk
show to a hunter in the woods all at the
same time. Some say he lives to shoot
people down with his trusty rifle. Still,
others say he lives to drive 180 with his
flashy car. But the entirety is, Migo just
enjoys life and loves living life to the
fullest. He’s a Bachelor of the Arts, and a
very artistic bachelor at that. He rolls his
sleeves to signify his brawny ideals and his
work ethic is that of a Spartan. He likes to
people watch at SOM mall, and has fallen
in love a number of times just sitting there.
Although he may come to you in a strange
package, what you discover inside is more
wonderful than you could ever imagine.
And yet, the best of him is still hiding
somewhere up his sleeve.

Strong-willed. Although she tends to be
susceptible to stress, Pam remains poised,
organized, and driven. Don’t undervalue
her panic attacks: these actually fuel her
productivity. Plus, it’s nice to watch her
make silly hand gestures and talk gibberish
as she releases her anxiety.
Assertive. She’s in love with powerful (and
at times philosophical) words and phrases,
whether in reading them or in saying
them--that is a fact. Pam’s frankness makes
her opinions unbiased; this is why honesty
is her best policy.

Izzy is a character that has been tried and
tested to stand out in a crowd. One look

moments and it is in those moments,
when her persistent sleepiness overcomes
her, that you can witness her genuinity.
She is content with just sitting and talking,

Izzy – and she doesn’t even know it. She
is resilient and always sees the best in the

For some people, Dan comes off as
menacing, serious, and intimidating. Yet
others see him as loud, funny, and laidback.
There are those who see Dan as arrogant,
annoying, and condescending. While some
hold the opinion that he’s weird, different,
and maybe even a little crazy. On the other
hand, some people actually see in him a
person who is helpful and trustworthy – a
true friend.
Just from her name, you know there’s
more to this girl than meets the eye.
Vianca, like the Spanish model ; Kamille,
a deviance from its normal spelling; and
Villarica for that distinct taste of money.
From afar, you can already spot her from
a crow. And when you get nearer, you
immediately notice her eyes, large and
expressive: equally ready to glare in
annoyance or warm up in laughter. Some
are intimidated by the quickness of her
expression, some by her height, others by
the gold nuggets she uses as change. But
something in her just shouts that when
you do get her trust, you can definitely
count on her. So in the distant future, if
you need someone to spring you from jail
with your $100,000 bail, just call Vianx. If
she loves you, she’ll come get you. If she

if there is one thing that they can all agree

way he thinks. He thinks in a very unusual
way, bordering on crazy sometimes, and
this is felt through his insights and opinions,
especially about life. People are often left
awed by what he has to say. Deep stuff.
That’s just who he is: a thinker.
Remarkable are her talents. Her dance could
enthrall as her voice could capture you in
a momentary daze of fascination – she is
simply stage-worthy. Yet more than this is
the immense care she has for people. Deeply
engraved within this high-spirited woman
is her commitment to love. For with her
extreme dedication to her family and friends
comes the most heartwarming gifts she

that he is like this. Well, actually he is, but
this only lasts for the first two minutes
after you meet him.
The clown: Whether he is with his block or
clique, he never runs out of funny antics

friends speechless, literally.
Passionate: His passion to serve is
exceptional, being active and participating
in extra-curricular activities, this is one
